Nic swung too hard and the bludger danced from the bat and slammed right into his upper left thigh. Despite the pain, he thanked his lucky stars it wasn't a bit farther up. Now that would hurt. His thigh hurt but that was different. He stabled his broom and held onto his bat as he thought up every colorful swear he could.

Skyla felt her fingers curl around the cool metal, then slowed down. Beside her, Csuri looked over, then huffed and slowed herself. Sky held a hand above her head, before shouting "I CAUGHT IT!" Professor Liu whistled sharply, calling an official end to the game. Dark eyes looked over at the rather upset looking preteen, before she flew over. "Hey, Csuri. You played a really good game. I thought you were going to outfox me there at the end. But hey, keep practicing, and I'm pretty sure you're gonna kick everyone's butts next year." Hopefully that gave her a little confidence.

Csuri looked over, frowning a bit. "Yea, whatever. Close doesn't count in this game, right? Ugh. Good game... or whatever." The blonde flew away, probably going to stand with her team. Skyla also flew down, though over to the Gryffindor team. "We did it, guys! This was an awesome season! Heck yes!"
