xxxxAMELIA ELIZABETH DUNNE

                      xxxxAmelia couldn't help but feel a bit awkward beneath the stare of Sebastian. She sucked it up though, and stood before him with the same confidence that she always did. As much as she thought it over, she was sure that it was the only reason that she was still around was because of the confidence she held when standing before him. It was the only plausible reason. Her blood was probably just as good as any other. She most certainly wasn't the most beautiful girl at school, not that he liked humans in that way. And mainly, all she did was anger him by arguing. That only left the confidence she held. Amelia had a feeling that he didn't see it often, so it interested him, and keeping him interest was the only way that seemed to keep her alive. She didn't mind though, it was actually kind of fun. The thrill was something she had never really had before. Amelia watched Sebastian closely, trying to figure out what he was staring so hard at, but they moved, and met her own, and she couldn't help but let her surroundings effect her mood. She was happy. And when he smirked, she knew that she had made him even the slightest bit amused.

                      xxxxAs Sebastian walked towards her, she couldn't help but smile, and then smile even more when he offered her his arm. He was being a gentleman, and that was something that she wasn't used to. She liked it. Gently, she slipped her pale, thin left arm through his. Amelia couldn't help but wonder how the night would go. How Sebastian would act around everyone. How they would react to him being her date. How Raven would react even. All these questions floated around in her head, but she didn't worry on them too much, everything would play out in the end. She knew one thing for certain, the girls would be asking her how she got him to be her date. She really had full intentions on ignoring them if it happened.

                      xxxxAmelia couldn't help but over analyze Sebastian's reply to her thanks. It could mean anything really. In the end, it really just meant that he was being nice, but she couldn't stop the little tingles that spread through her body at the thought that Sebastian thought she was beautiful.

                      xxxxWith her arm around his, she could feel the cool metal on her skin. The chilled night air making the armor cold to the touch. She didn't mind though, she liked the cold, which is why the brisk night air didn't bother her any in her current attire. Her skin was probably cold, but she wasn't uncomfortable at all, and she wasn't shivering, so the chill wasn't a problem at all. Besides, the tingles being sent throughout her body kept her perfectly warm inside.

                      xxxxWell, at least then you know what really happened when we're studying history.Her tone held amusement, but secretly, she wanted him to tell her about his life. Both human and vampire. She loved the past a little too much, but she was sure he would never tell her, so she refused to push for it in any way. She had tried once, and doing it again didn't really seem like a good idea.

                      xxxxWith what he said next, Amelia assumed they would head over to the cafeteria, but when Sebastian steered her towards the fountain. Her eyes moved to his in confusion, Where are we..? her voice trailed off as Sebastian sat down next to the fountain. Amelia sat next to him, her eyes full of curiosity as to why they were staying. She wasn't complaining, of course, she loved the gardens, but she didn't think he'd want to stay.

Body & Blood

User ImageHis eyes flickered over to her face. Sebastian did not know that she would not think her gaze obvious to him. He had seen the way her eyes longingly lingered on the beautiful night. There was an eerie and relaxing beauty in the way the silvery moonlight drifted over the bushes and the flowers. It glowed through the dewdrops that had settled upon flower petals and shimmered through the white of the garden's carnations. Reflected in the water, the moonlight shone onto Sebastian's face as he looked up at Amelia. The moonlight made his pale face glow beautifully. He appeared as an angel out of a Raphaelite painting: strong, gorgeous, and sorrowful all at once. The weight of life and time was reflected in his face, and Sebastian could care less about it all.

Annoyance shone, soft as a secret, behind his evergreen eyes. "Await your friend here, with me," Sebastian replied, raising an eyebrow. "If you did not understand my motion."

By human standards, it was such a trivial thing by which to become irked. Nonetheless, it served to prod into the side of his brain and raised his intolerance. Even so, Sebastian kept his tone even with Amelia. He did not want her to leave his side for strange reasons. He did not want to traverse modern mortal customs without a guide; also, he was beginning to respect the mortal girl. The last fact prodded his brain even more. Sebastian glanced away and stared into the water. He watched the water lap the edges of the fountain. Waves rippled through the water, caused by the steady stream constantly fed by a half-naked nymph pouring out a vase of water.

Then, he looked back up at her. The vampire's eyes had cleared of their previous annoyance. Instead, they were blank and awaiting the action of her sitting beside him. He watched her skin glowing in the moonlight. Sebastian lowered his eyelids, staring at her from underneath his blond lashes. He could hear her heart in his ears, and it made him hungry to take blood. The desire was thick in his veins. The beast inside longed to feed, but his greater, trained instincts knew how to control it. Gently, Sebastian clasped his strong hand about her wrist and pulled her down beside him with gentle force. She was sitting beside him, her beauty radiant in the full moonlight. Her lips were parted tantalizingly. His eyes focused in on them. Sebastian heard her blood throbbing through her veins. Slowly, he leaned in and caught the lightest whiff of her mortal scent.

Something stirred in him...the remembrances of days and humanity long gone. He could remember them, and he hated it. He pulled away, thinking of the bitter taste of abandonment, and pondered if he should follow the current course of time. Still, Sebastian kept the feeling of how her lips kept calling his. Finally, he decided to lean in to close the space between them. It was against everything he had believed in for nine centuries. It was the very thought of the action that made him repulsed. Regardless, he swept away the thought and pressed his lips against hers. Physical desire welled up in him, something that was previously only purely human to him. The masculine desire of touch had only surfaced when Kasey was still around. After she had submitted to him, it had disappeared as quickly as a flame blown out by a slight breeze.

For once, his skin burned as he pressed his lips to those of Amelia. He lifted one hand to rest it on her cheek; the other drifted down to her waist to steadily lock her in place.

Her pale hands fluttered down to the skirt of her dress to smooth out the obvious creases. Within a few seconds, the creases had disappeared into a continuous plane of flowing fabric. The material of the dress was silky beneath her fingers. Raven had to smile as a memory fluttered into her mind. Her mother and her sister were both with her when she had made the dress. Her mother was teaching Raven how to embellish clothing, a skill she was growing better at. Also, the woman was teaching Lenore how to sew. It had been a cold winter's night during her winter break. Her mother was sewing the dress as a project for the three of them. Lenore kept wanting to see how the pieces fit together; how to stitch; to let her practice. It was a softly beautiful evening, Raven had thought. Snowing outside with at least an inch or so built up, and the three cozy in the warm house around the sewing machine in her mother's study.

Raven blinked and the memory was gone, although its warmth continued to linger. She sighed and heard the bathroom door open. She raised her head to see Alexander gaping at her. For a few moments, there was such an absence of expression in his face that Raven wondered if something was wrong with her outfit. Then, she realized that there was something there in his eyes that resonated in the rest of his face. Awe, wonder, and love flickered through his eyes and warmed his countenance. A soft blush worked its way up her neck and into her cheeks. Just when she wanted to appear vampiric, she had to go and blush, bringing pink to her previously pallid complexion. Alexander's eyes burned into her, all of her, and kept her silent.

He strolled over to her and raised a hand to affectionately caress her cheek. "I don't know what to say. Raven, your beauty takes my breath away."

Her heart raced within her chest and sent blood rushing to her cheeks. Raven grew warmer with the sudden blood rush. She had no idea what to say to Alexander, but it turned out she did not have to speak at all. Alexander grasped her hand with his free hand and pulled her hand to his chest. The rest of her body followed and gently touched his. Raven craned her head up to look at Alexander. In that moment, it really dawned on her how handsome he truly was. His eyes shone as he looked at her, pale skin glowing in the light of the full moon. Slowly, he leaned down to press his lips against hers. Instinctively, Raven closed her eyes and reciprocated, not thinking about the action. Her heart continued running marathons in her chest. The hand in his laced its fingers through his hand and squeezed. Her other hand came to rest upon his shoulder. The kiss became more fervent, desire brimming between the two. Raven's breath hitched and her lungs gasped for air. Thankfully, Alexander pulled away just in time. Raven forced herself to remember how to breath. The sweet rush of air whooshed through her airway and straight to her lungs. Raven blinked black dots from her vision, banishing the threatening dizziness Alexander had caused.

Easily, the hand on his shoulder slipped down to her side. The handsome young man smiled beautifully at her, pulling her along behind him. Once again, he praised her beauty that Halloween evening. A soft smile caressed the edges of Raven's lips. "Thank you, Alexander," she murmured. Her head dipped to her chest. She took the chance to drink in his outfit. Raven raised her eyes, slowly drinking in Alexander from head-to-toe. Truly, he could have been a Victorian gentleman.

Her smile grew even wider. The familiar feeling of a blush permeated her pale cheeks. "You look very handsome," Raven said breathlessly. She was not afraid to allow her eyes to linger on him. Alexander's expression was soft and sweet, causing her heart to ache with the same feeling from earlier. It was the same feeling that had nearly caused her to say those words. The words which she had silenced.

Out of the corner of her eye, Raven saw herself in his mirror and widened her eyes. By his side, Raven appeared a stranger; she hardly recognized herself. There was something changed that Raven could not touch upon. She looked over at Alexander, expression softening. He kissed her hand, leaving another burn upon her flesh, and pulled her to the door. Raven had to move quickly in her tricky boots.

Quickly, Raven made sure to remember Amelia. "Yes, actually. Amelia wanted us to meet up with her and her date. Do you mind?"

xxxxAMELIA ELIZABETH DUNNE

                      xxxxAmelia couldn't help herself, but to be captivated by the nature around her. The shining flowers around her each holding so much beauty that she couldn't help but admire each and every one of them. Finally, she came around and her eyes landed on Sebastian. Moonlight poured onto the two of them, lighting up every feature of their faces. It was pure intoxication, and she couldn't help but feel the complete pull to Sebastian. It was like he had his own gravitational force, and there was nothing she could to to pull away. Did she even want to? Amelia couldn't even fully think about her answer, she was too captivated by Sebastian. He looked incredibly handsome in the moonlight, and Amelia couldn't help herself, but to stare at him, and admire the beauty, the flowers around them paling in comparison.

                      xxxxAmelia couldn't help but smile a little. I like the idea. She pulled her phone out, and texted Raven quickly, telling her to meet at the gardens instead, then put her phone back in the only place she could keep it.

                      xxxxShe couldn't help but lose her smile again as she watched Sebastian. He seemed so thoughtful, his facial expressions completely still. He looked like a statue almost, sitting on the edge of the fountain like he was. He blended in with all the beauty around him, yet stood out in it. Amelia couldn't find herself able to move her eyes away from him, and then his eyes moved to her, and she felt herself shrink. She didn't, though, shrink into herself, instead she stood as she always did before the man, strong. At first, she was afraid of him, but now, now she knew that her best chances of survival around him were to be as strong as possible. It really didn't help that she had that damn pull to him. A pull that was beyond her blood calling to him. A pull that went past her being his pet. It was a pull that made her want to be with him, no matter how often she pretended that she didn't. There was always something more than knowing she had to that drew her to him when he called. Slowly, Amelia let her eyes fall to his, watching him look at her. It sent shivers down her spine, the way he was looking at her. Then she was being pulled down next to him, and she didn't resist at all, letting her body be pulled by her wrist to land on the cool stone of the fountain side.

                      xxxxSebastian moved towards her, and she felt her head tilt ever so slightly, a complete habit now. She hoped he wouldn't bite her, get blood everywhere, but something about his face getting closer to hers made her heartbeat pick up ever so slightly. She knew he would notice, but she really didn't care. Then he was gone, his face pulled away from her own, and she felt her facial expression grow to a confused one. Had she done anything? Her face was turned up to his, her eyes looking upon him with a great curiosity. What was he going to do?

                      xxxxAnd then she found out. His lips were on her's in an instant, her confusion only grew, but her body reacted for her immediately, kissing him back. She was aware of his hands on her body, and she was aware of her own hands drifting up to rest on his chest. Amelia's mind was racing, her so was her pulse, she could practically hear the beat of her heart, loud and fast. All the thoughts zooming around in her head didn't stop the eruption of tingles throughout her body, or the rush of adrenaline coursing through her veins.

"For the life of the flesh is in the blood ... for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul."

Body & Blood

User ImageHe could feel her heart beating underneath her skin. The vital organ pumped blood full-speed to Amelia's skin, tinting her the loveliest shade of pink. Her lips on his were soft, intoxicating, and pliable. Amelia's presence permeated every part of him. Her speeding heart throbbed in his ears; her mortal scent soaked into his skin and through his nostrils, filling his lungs with the sweet smell of sweat and flowers. Her body was soft and flexible, able to bruise with a single and casual touch of his cold hands. Sebastian felt the thirst tinge red his dark green eyes. The desire to touch grew stronger. Their embrace became closer with the tightening of Sebastian's arm around Amelia's waist. Her sweet breath drifted past her mouth and onto his skin. Every human thing about her made him want her even more.

Sebastian could feel his body responding to her, responding like it never had to any other female. His hands grasped her tightly to him, forgetting that she was mortal. His lips pressed harder to hers, longing for the rush of her delicious exhalations. The touch of her hands on his chest somewhat startled him. Inhaling sharply, Sebastian broke away from her. He could feel his teeth gently pinching his gums. Desire clouded his mind, everything he hated. Sebastian set his jaw. He opened his eyes and looked at her hungrily, lustfully. A fire had begun, rushing warmth throughout previously cold immortal limbs. He felt life ignite in his eyes while looking at her. Interest he had never had before was captured and locked there. There was silence as her lungs gasped for oxygen.

In that silence, he had no words to offer her. Still, his eyes roved to her lips once more. He half-closed his eyes and leaned in to press a chaste kiss to her mouth. Then, the words came in a statement that would have sounded otherwise idiotic to him. "Your lips keep beckoning me, Amelia," Sebastian choked out. "What is this?"

                          Fleur blushed and wrung her hands together in front of her body. "M-merci." She looked down at her hands with a tiny smile as blushing pride filled her pale cheeks with warm pink hues, "I really like Lord of the Rings so I wanted to get Arwen's look perfect." She had been waiting months for this moment. To finally slip on the dress she had so carefully picked out from the second hand shop and spent hours sewing on the little details so they were exact. It was a good thing she decided to go with heels though, the dress was so long that she would have most likely tripped at least once throughout the night had she worn flats.

                          She took in Alastar's costume too and smiled up at him, "I think it looks great for last minute." She moved forward, walking quite fluidly on the heels she was wearing. As Fleur walked though, she could feel she was still a bit shaky. Anyone would be after the attack she just had. Actually, it would have probably been best that she stayed in bed and rested her body instead of going to the dance. But there was no way in hell she was going to give up this opportunity. Her first dance. With a very nice guy...vampire. Not to mention she felt that after all the heartache she had put herself through for the past few months, she deserved to go out and have a bit of fun.

                          Once she had led the both of them out into the hallway and closed her door behind her, Fleur took Alastar's arm for support and smiled, "It's already turning out to be the best dance and we haven't even gotten there yet." As they walked and Alastar continued to speak, Fleur felt her entire face go completely red. What grip she had tightened a bit on his arm as she felt her body go through a series of emotions. "A..d-date? I-I've never been on a date before." She looked down at the floor and nodded her head, "I'd like this to be a date..." The thought scared her, but there was no way she was going to say no at this point. She thought it was just going to ruin the night. Now all she had to do was ignore Edan and Angelique so she wouldn't hurt Alastar.

                          ~~~
                          Orenda rolled her eyes when she looked upon Josef's face peeking through the tiniest crack in the door. "What do you think I'm going to do? Attack you?" She shook her head and looked off to the side as she mutter the word "Stupid" under her breath. Why had she come here again? Oh yeah, she was bored. Always, Orenda was bored.
                          She smirked and placed her hands behind her back, "No I doubt you can help me at all considering how skittish you appear to be at the moment. You looked like a paranoid crack head you know." She cocked her head to the side as her eyes scrutinized his appearance. Then she took a step back and shrugged her shoulders in a sort of nonchalant way, "I was just wondering if perhaps you would be going to the dance tonight that's all. The great hall looks wonderful if I do say so myself. It would be a shame to miss out on it."
                          "Oh yeah. I don't have a date. And I'm assuming neither do you. I mean what girl would want to willingly go to a dance with a hermit anyway?" At times like this, her inner teenager was shown. Something about Josef made it come out. Perhaps it was his inherent rudeness. The way he looked at her. Something about the human male ticked her off to no end and yet it amused her. And amusement was always something she looked for. Why not get as much as she could from this life? After all...she was hoping it would all be over soon and she would finally be reunited with those that she loved.
                          "I guess if you would come out of hiding like hibernating animal, we could go together." She supposed she didn't care whether or not he said yes or no. All she knew was that it would be amusing to see Josef in a social setting. Having to mingle with the other students and not hide in classes or alone by himself at dinner and breakfast times.
                          **reposted for Arbos**
                          ~~~

                          The familiar feeling of the clothing he wore made him feel like he had gone back in time. To a time where he spent most of his days holed up in his room. Brooding over existence and the loss of his then love of his life. Questioning his being and what had caused his monstrosity of a creation. He'd get little knocks at his door every now and then. Humans were thrust into the room afterwards. Men, women, children...anyone who was unfortunate enough to be caught. Some of them begged, some of the women tried to seduce him when they caw him, all of the children cried. He didn't remember faces. He couldn't distinguish one victim from the other. It was a miracle that the blood stains even came out of the clothing he was wearing. His clothing held their smell. Old blood.

                          He grimaced at the thought of his past. What would Raven do should she figure out who he really is? He knew that he was thinking about this subject way too much. If he was so worried why didn't he tell her now? They had been "dating" for about a month or so now. He had plenty of time to bring it up. It was too risky. Raven was an odd girl, but he was certain she would have a pretty normal reaction to what he had to tell her.

                          Alexander turned his head and caught what Raven had said just in time. "I don't mind at all. I feel like I haven't seen Amelia in a while anyway It'd be nice to catch up. I'm assuming she's been really busy because of school? Did she say where she would be waiting?"

Looking up at her boyfriend, Raven noticed his gaze begin to glaze over. He looked down the hallway and past the wall. For a few minutes, Raven stood holding Alexander's hand. Faintly, the goth girl wondered what the young man was thinking. Raven gently squeezed his hand. A grimace wrinkled his beautiful countenance. She tilted her head to the side in curiosity. She brought his hand to her lips and brushed an affectionate kiss against it.

"What are you thinking of?" Raven murmured against his skin. The light pressure of her lips left a slight impression of her deep red lip gloss. "She's been as busy as I have. She and her date are meeting us in the gardens. I think she's there right now. Shall we go? I don't want to keep her any longer. It's chilly outside."

Her stomach fluttered with imaginary butterflies at the sudden flash of his flesh. Edan's stomach muscles were strong and smooth. Tattoos peeked out from underneath the clothing. Too soon the skin was gone. It lingered in her mind through their passionate kiss. Vampiric instinct willed her to scrape her teeth across his lips. The desire to sink her canines into his flesh was all-too tempting. Her eyes closed, she inhaled the scent of his life. It was heady, and she was suddenly thirsty. Edan pulled her against him by the hips. Warmth flexed her muscles. Her long, manicured nails gently scraped his clothing as she pulled him down closer. Her mouth was so close to his throat. Just a little closer and...

When Edan pulled away, her eyes snapped open and she cleared her throat. She looked up at him and saw those eyes burning into hers. "I definitely missed you more, beautiful," he replied easily.

"I doubt it," Angelique teased, kissing his cheek.

Once more, his lips pressed to hers. The high feeling of a drug rushed through her body, equal to any high blood and flesh could give her. Angelique lifted her hands and placed both upon Edan's cheeks. Gently, she pulled the mortal boy closer to her. Only an inkling of blood thirst spotted in the back of her mind. The rest of her thoughts were focused on the sensation, the wonderful feeling, of Edan physically touching her. He grounded her in every way possible. When he pulled away, Angelique sighed in disappointment. She gazed up at him with reluctance. Then, she glanced down to his lips and smirked.

"If you did any more kissing, you'd be wearing all of my gloss," Angelique laughed. "Ah, too bad. Kissing you is fun." She glanced down at her costume with a distant look. "Hm, no I didn't. Do you like it anyway?"

Absentmindedly, Angelique touched her lips with her fingertips. She was gauging how much lip gloss she had lost. Barely enough was there to cover her mouth. So, she whipped out her tube of gloss and ran a little over her lips. Then, the tiny vampiress stashed her gloss back into the white change purse that hung from a golden tassel belt about her waist.

"Let's go and have some fun,"
she whispered, winking at Edan. Then, she turned towards the stairs and waited for Edan to join her.
