Yeah, but if you get a clean copy of Fate, meaning without any saved files attached with it, then the visual novel itself forces you to go in that order lol You can only access UBW after you've cleared Fate and you can only access HF after you clear UBW. Rather annoying since Fate is my least favorite arc.

Do you need to get the true ending of one arc to progress to the next?

Yeah, you have to get the true end of Fate to unlock UBW and then the true end of UBW to unlock HF

Not really XD Fate is extremely easy to navigate through.

That's throughout the 3 arcs. To me it was actually pretty easy to get the trues ends lol. I got the trues ends for Fate and UBW the first time I ran through them and I got the true end for HF the 2nd time.
