Fallout: The Ruined York (Open and Accepting)

[Zahzi]

"There are THREE people in this state who qualify as mechanics, and TWO would either imprison or kill you..."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Alex then let out a heavy sigh.

"...I ******** hate my life..."  

[Zahzi]

"Who knows? Maybe your robot will work with him..."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...Yea-No." Alex said bluntly.
"HK is stubborn when it comes to these things."  

[Zahzi]

"This city changes people. You'll see." The Tavernmaster said with a chuckle, walking off.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Riiight..." Alex sighed, getting up now with a groan, and beginning to move around the bar. Might as well start her job as promised...  

[Zahzi]

The first table she would come cross would have a familiar face: Brad.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Oh God... Alex groaned in her head.

"Good--" She greeted, before looking away from Brad, to a clock, then back to Brad.

"...Afternoon Sir. May I help you?"  

[Zahzi]

"Just a be-" Brad said before staring at her.
"....Seriously?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...A bee?" Alex tilted her head.

"...I don't think he serves bees..." She said, scratching the back of her head.  

[Zahzi]

"......Beer." Brad said, his eye twitching.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Ooohhh.. Just a beer. Gotcha." Alex nodded, about to walk away, before stopping.

"And yes. Seriously. I need a meal because I haven't eaten in the past three days, I got a doctor's bill to pay, I gotta find SOME way to pay for someone else besides you to work on HK, I got a house to maintain, and I need to feed the robot and myself. So I got a job." She said, before walking back to the counter for Brad's order.  

[Zahzi]

"......Waaait WHY can't I work on the tin can..?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Because HK doesn't like you. Remember what happened at the house? I know my robot - he won't let you touch him even if my life was threatened."  

[Zahzi]

"I bet we could work something out..." Brad said with a smirk.
