Of Mavericks and Hunters. -OPEN AND ACCEPTING-

Steam sighed. "This can only end well," steam replied. "At least this time if he starts going maverick you'll have the hunters at your back to stop him..."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"He won't be going Maverick." Edge growled, pulling Metal Man along harder as she started to leave Tango's factory.

"Sorry.." She sighed, looking at her older copy with a sheepish smile. "You'll find a lot of my coworkers are dumb."  

[Zahzi]

"On the contrary, their hesitation is understandable. I was what you call a 'Maverick' when I was first built. But back then, I was only referred to as a 'Robot Master." Metal Man droned, still being dragged along.

Tango just gave a sigh, shaking his head.
"It's not him I'm worried about."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"I know you were what we call and consider Maverick now days, but you're not anymore." Edge sighed.
"Only an idiot would try to follow that path again."  

[cptflint]

"Then who are you worried about?" Steam asked as he started to follow the two out of the factory.  

[Zahzi]

"Then why not destroy me?" Metal Man asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Hyde." Tango replied simply, following.
"Edge should know the name by now."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"If you were still Maverick, wouldn't you be doing something violent or dangerous?" Edge challenged. "Instead, you're being docile and following my lead." The grin came back on Edge's face as her steps started to get a sort of joyful skip in them. Once she ws back in the main floor of the factory though, the happiness was gone.

"...Hyde is still around?" She asked with another rarely seen emotion - fear.  

[Zahzi]

Metal Man stared at Tango as well.

"Do you think I would be sitting in an abandoned factory all these years, only journeying out once practically every century, keep my Jammers up to deter onlookers, and NOT have a reason?" Tango asked, staring at Edge.

"He's still out there. And he's also the reason I kept Metal Man in stasis."

""Hyde... isn't that the guy that took over Haley?" Steam asked.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Hyde is something much worse." Edge answered, her grip on Metal Man's hand tightening.

"And how does Metal Man relate to anything dealing with Hyde? Why the Hell does even still exist?"  

[Zahzi]

"Hyde is practically a God among Reploids. You think my Jammer is bad? he produces a field in which he can manipulate anything mechanical through." Tango replied, before looking at Metal Man.

"It took me over a century to figure out a way to fight it. You need a fragment of the code he uses to manipulate machinery."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"And so this whole kept Metal Man was to get that code?"  

[Zahzi]

"Hyde brought Metal Man back solely as a token to keep me loyal. He expected me to destroy him entirely. His code is still within Metal Man. Having him out right now might end in disaster."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"So then we'll put him into hiding. That way Hyde won't know he's awake again."  

[cptflint]

"You could've explained that before we woke him up," Steam said.
