Good evening everyone. I didn't realize how long it's been since I'm posted here. As in truly posted my own thoughts... and not just some random pictures or doing some random questionnaire. Anyway... I'm here.

Prof. Moonie Cerebral Perception Allow me to show you my thoughts.... Your name is Christine N Watson? .... and that was the cerebral perception My real full name is Christine Nicole Watson... yes. It depends on my mood on whether I write out my middle name or not for questionnaires. *shrugs* Why are you asking? I've done a lot of questionnaires in the past that have asked my name... neutral Allow me to show you my thoughts.... I was going to complain to you about a thing, but I got distracted by your name. I like it. .... and that was the cerebral perception

What have I been up to lately? Well... I graduated with my Bachelors of Arts in English on May 12. Despite the hot conditions - both weather wise and wearing heavy, black regalia - the ceremony was great. I enjoyed walking across the stage with my fellow classmates and friends I've known during my time at the university. And I had a big turnout from my family. Spent the evening with them at my grandparents place enjoying the weather and yummy food.
Now I'm just taking a break... and casually looking for a job, because as I've mentioned before, my Mom doesn't get the idea that I'm trying to take a break and keeps bothering me about whether I've looked for jobs. *sighs* Anyway... I've been doing things around home that I've been meaning to do but never got around to because of school. Been nice getting those taken care of and what not. And when I'm not doing that then I'm either writing, reading the books my friend Melissa let me borrow, or watching Torchwood again.

With rewatching the first season of Torchwood and comparing it to the latest one that finished a few months ago - "Miracle Day" season, it's made me realize how drastic a change there has been. The first two seasons are fantastic, third is so-so... but the fourth season? My goodness! Russell Davies! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!
I just hope that when another season comes around, it returns to the style that I fell in love with in the first two seasons. None of this long, drawn out storyline that conflicts with everything Davies set up during his Doctor Who era.

A picture from the set of the upcoming season of Doctor Who. From what I've been reading, it sounds like the Doctor is changing up his style a bit. Not too surprising since he changed things up with his long trench-coat for a while there. But it sounds like the change this time is a next step up because of certain events that will happen. Still has his bow tie though. Good. The Doctor can't get rid of his trademark bow tie, lol.
And the new companion apparently has a name now - Clara. Intriguing.

Interesting... apparently at IMDB, Jenna Louise Coleman is listed as "Susan Tyler". So I guess her official character name is still up in the air. But the whole "Tyler" surname intrigues me. Definitely would be a nice pull-in with Rose Tyler and the Human Doctor... especially if they brought the Eleventh Doctor back for the 50th anniversary stuff. *shrugs*
Definitely intrigued about what Jenna will be like in the series.

*cracks up laughing at crossover theories that other fans have been coming up with* People are saying that Clara left Harry Watson (sister of John Watson in Sherlock) because she went off with the Doctor.
Although it is a pretty neat connection, knowing what I know about Moffat's style... I'm wondering whether the name "Clara" for the new companion is the real name or not.

Haha... this was totally me awhile back at my friend's grad party. The boys somehow got talking about Benedict Cumberbatch. I was all watching the girls singing their karaoke and then instantly got distracted when I heard Benedict's name. *chuckles* The boys were saying that you couldn't say Benedict's name normal... you always had to have some weird British-like accent when saying his name. So, so true, lol.

*blinks* I just realized that if the new companion does end up being the daughter of Rose/Human Doctor in the other universe and happens to come into 11th Doctor's universe and what not... then that would be another scary parallel to some of the ideas I've been having with my own OC and her relation with the Doctor.
You know how River kissed the Doctor to give him her lives to save him from dieing and regenerating and all that? Like at the beginning of Season 6 I had the idea that my DW OC would prevent the Doctor from regenerating through kissing him... near a set of stairs. 0.0 Uh... yeah.
If the whole Rose/Human Doctor + new companion theory comes true... then I think I might be channeling some inner Moffat then. *laughs*

Ugh... both times I've seen that episode, especially that scene, it always messes with me. Just the way Jack interacts with Gwen to teach her how to shoot the guns.
Sign me up for gun shooting practice with Jack, please. *melts*
