Also, Master LL's been making guides for the quests and whatnot in Victory, which are kind of insanely helpful. ^^ Since many are hard to complete otherwise.

Yup. XD And Guides, and some other stuff too, I think. Very helpful. VERY helpful, because some things are not intuitive at all, as you'll see in Victory.

I played Advance, once, but mostly I know it from the Grand List of Console RPG Cliches, which pointed out that any power which could hit both enemies and allies would hit half of your allies and none of your enemies.

Honestly, I have played Disgaea 1 enough to know a few things...
1: Gunman are fun
2: Ninjas are awesome
3: Laharl is a bamf
4: Midboss is a failing tryhard
5: Etna needs to find some relief from her bloodlust
6: Flonne is a ditz
7: Captain Gordon should die for his stupidity
8: The hidden bosses are a b***h to fight, but fun to fight as
9: 3x3 skills are the easiest skills to use for grinding (like with the god grinding level)
