  I seriously just encountered this situation today. We were sharing what a "weird" obsession we had. I said "Benedict Cumberbatch" - though I don't consider it weird. My friend Brittany was all like: "What's Benedict Cumberbatch?" And the others instantly started spurting out: "He's an actor." "He plays Sherlock." *laughs*

Yesterday I had Mom watch "The Eleventh Hour" (5.01) of Doctor Who with me, so she could understand some of the foods choices I made for my party - especially fish fingers and custard.
I had to explain afterwards how the Doctor regenerates and showed her a couple clips of Nine and Ten regenerating, and pictures of all of the actors who have played the Doctor. Even though she's barely seen any of the guy, Mom's already claimed the Eleventh Doctor has "her" Doctor... and thinks the Ninth Doctor looks creepy. *laughs*

Oh! And for those who were curious and wondering who I dressed up as for my party - I was River Song, of course. In her "Lake Silencio" jean outfit.

At some point, I would love to dress up as River Song in some of her other outfits - either by creating them myself (like her "Time of the Angels" black dress) or somehow manage to piece various clothing items together to create it. *shrugs* We'll see what happens...

One of my friends got a Doctor Who book for me for my Birthday called "Touched By An Angel." Probably going to start it tonight before I go to sleep. It's going to be interesting reading a book Doctor Who adventure after seeing the TV series.

My friend Rini yesterday was teasing me that I'm better than our friend Brittany because I love Grimm, and she hasn't seen any of it. *laughs*
Rini and I had a whole conversation about Grimm waiting for the others to arrive for my party. She got talking about how all of the main male characters have at some point taken their shirts off... except for Monroe. I teased that Monroe would have mixed feelings about it and make some comment about how it would match the stereotypical images of werewolves and that he doesn't need to go naked to make the change. *laughs* We both did really well with imitating Nick (Rini) and Monroe (me) at how they would react in different situations. Just goes to show how much we love the show, lol.

I need to get back to writing my novel. It's been awhile since I've done anything and I've been in the mood to write lately. Maybe I'll do some writing tomorrow.
Probably should create a playlist to help me get back into the world and be inspired. I know some of these songs from the soundtrack for the film "Brave" could easily make its way into it. They're absolutely fabulous and match the aspects of my novel so well. :D
