"There's a reaction I've never seen before . . . " David muttered as he smiled rather warmly to his even more distant grandson than Lance. "What are their names?" He asked Leora curiously, when suddenly the sound of a man, no doubt human, on a megaphone could be heard from outside. "Come out with your hands up, we have you surrounded." The police officer said, sounding rather cliche, wanting them alive for questioning. "Also, bring the president. Then, we assure you no one will get hurt." David sighed, sounding bored, and cocked both his guns, readying to kill the foreign intruders.

Leora hugged her children tightly as she looked to Lance once she heard the police officer. "Lance?" she asked him, basically asking him what to do. All she knew was that she didn't want to be parted from her children and that she wanted them to be safe.

Lance wrapped an arm around Leora and shot a glance at David. With a bored sigh, he pulled out his guns that he had personally made himself and started walking away. "Cover their ears." He said over his shoulder to Leora, meaning her children. He walked to the door, opened it a crack, and then disappeared outside. A moment later, the sound of both guns being fired could be heard, hitting the engines of the cars and causing them to explode.

Leora did indeed cover the twin's ears and flinched when she heard the explosions. She leaned into Lance, burying her head into his shoulder as she held the twins.

Lance held the back of her head against her shoulder when she buried it there. The explosions soon ceased and David returned. His usually pale lips now a dark red and forming his evil, fanged grin once again, with some blood dripping down from his lips to his chin. "All better." He said simply in a rather sadistic tone.
The president was staring at the vampire family with both confusion, and in David's case, fear. Although sure he wouldn't make it, he got off the couch as silently as he could to his human ears and began creeping away from them,as slowly and as quietly as he could.

Leora's vampiric ears could hear the president trying to creep away. "Mr. President, I would suggest that you don't try to leave. You're actually safer here." she said as she lifted her head a bit from Lance's shoulder, laying her head on his shoulder instead, as she tried to ignore David's sinister experience.
Michael saw David and was reminded of the day when Eric had entered his mind and started wimpering, clinging to his mother in fear of the Vampire.

The president stiffened when he heard the vampire queen's voice speaking to him. "H-how?" He stuttered fearfully, wondering how he was safer in a castle filled with a family of vampires, than outside with his fellow humans.
Lance couldn't help but chuckle once when he heard the way the supposed leader of the United States Of America spoke. "Coward." He said simply, glancing back at the president with red eyes.

Leora sighed. "First off, Vampires are now trying to kill the humans that started attacking them first. Secondly, no offense, but your blood doesn't smell that good. And third, probably the safest place to be is in a position under the protection of the leaders, which is here, which is why my family is here. So vampires," and other creatures, "won't kill them." she said.

The president was looking at David cautiously and nodded to Leora with what seemed to be obedience. He was rather glad that Leora had said his blood didn't smell very appetizing, that meant at least he had no, or at least, little to fear that these vampires would bite him.
David smirked at the president's cautiousness and licked his lips clean of the police officers' blood.

Michael sniffed the air and then looked over at the president, pointing at him and then looking up at his mother. "Bwa!" he yelled, which was basically his way of saying 'blood.'
Leora frowned and shook her head as she tucked his arm back in. "Not to drink." she said and then looked at Lance. "I think Michael's thirsty." she said and then headed to the kitchen.

As Leora walked into the kitchen, a figure watched her from the pantry. With the complete and total silence of an expert, the figure crept it's way behind the vampire queen and placed the cold point of something to the back of her head. "Don't move, or make a sound, leech." A voice ordered. It was obviously a female's but it contained authority and despise for what the queen was. The voice sounded like the owner had been threw wars. It was a voice Leora had heard only once, one to two months ago . . .

Leora froze . . . completely. She didn't even open her mouth. She wondered who the woman was who had snuck up behind her. And she was scared. Not only for herself, but for her children in her arms.
Michael looked up at his mother with a confused expression when he saw her stiffen visibly. He really didn't understand why she wasn't moving forward and he just knew that something was wrong when he heard the voice. However, he wasn't making a sound just yet.

The owner of the voice glowered at the back of Leora's head. "Place a hand over your children's mouths and walk to the back door," She ordered in a hateful tone before cocking her gun that was pointed at the back of Leora's head. "Now, you filthy abomination." She added with a growl jabbing the her head with the barrel of the gun, urging her forward.

Leora did as she was ordered and started walking. "Why are you doing this?" she whispered softly, unable to contain the question. She was so scared for her children and found that any fear for herself was disapating. All she could think about was if her children would be alright.

"Because my job is to rid the world of horrid bloodsuckers like you. All of you, unholy demons. I should kill you right now just for getting so close to my daughter." She said, growling slightly, keeping the queen of the vampire at gunpoint as they walked to the back door. "Knock three times on the door." She ordered, her eyes watching her every move.
