"theres the direction of the grass village,a nd what do you know, theres a path, iv'e been here before, this isn't genjutsu, they make a path, because of the tall grass so traveling merchants don't get to lost."

"so now we have a clear and easy path to follow.....right?"

he turned to Ukira

"and you...why don't you walk..those horses are about to have their hearts burst open from the weight, you are weighing us down with those horses we need to drag, so why not give me the sword and we'll give you a discount"

*stares at the cliff*

"we could have been all dead.."*shocked*

*turns to her team and starts following the path with them*

"are we now going to the real grass village..?"

Ukira smiled. "I thought as much." He hopped off of the horse and began waddling alongside them. The horses seemed to be moving faster, and looked extremely releived.

Meanwhile, in the village the general waited with his body guards. The geberal turned to one of his body-guards, "well it looks like they made it safe. I'll have to award them all something once they get here." The bodyguard chuckled a bit.

"woah! that was close..."

-continues dragging-  

[Azazra]

*whistles innocently while simply walking along side the now normal paced horses*
"so how long do you think it will take us to get there?"

"maybe minutes..."

-wipes his sweat-
sweatdrop

they arrived at the gate

he turned to his squad

"well, we made it."

The general smiled as he stepped forward with his body-guards. "Ah, so the Kohona ninjas finally arrive!!" He stepped up to Xantos and looked him in the eye, "so how was the trip? Good I'm guessing?"

"mm....so, so. We had a run in with 2 rouges, one dead, one escaped...well more like i did, to save my squad from running off a cliff....I also suspect...."

he turned to the guard that said something about awarding them when they got there

"...that one of you guards could possibly the one that escaped... general, watch your back with that sword"

*looks at xantos puzzled*
"so you think that one of the guards could be in on this...?"
*turns to elie*
*turns to ian*
*shrugs*

*turns to ian and mizu*

*says in a very hushed voice*
"it could be possible.. 'coz they have the information that the sword will be delivered here in this village.."

"do we still ahve to guard the katana even though it's now in the general's hand?"
