THE C.O.R.E

Alister was making great time, propelling himself forward by letting loose explosive sound waves from his feet. He stopped nearby, walking forward. He spotted the Headphones on the guys head, confused for a moment. He figured that maybe this guys could manipulate sound... Like Beats, and grinned. "You can do what I can! Right?!" He asked, the sound becoming vibrations so that even if you couldn't actually hear him.... you could feel what he was saying.

Amp was straining to not let the full power of the blast be released. He was holding on as long as he could, he only wished to be free. And suddenly he felt weightless. His eyes opened as he felt the weight be released from the teather that held the restaints. Then he fell and impacted the ground.

His mouth opened wide rfom the pain and thats when it happened. The full force of the blast eruppted from his mouth, hands, his body. The ground around him shook, rippled bent and began to shake itself apart. Treets splintered and anyone who was to close or immune to sound and the forces that they created would either be dead or permanently deaf. The further out you got, the less it the damage. Some internal bleeding, concusions, vertigo, temporary deafness, other things of the sort.

The person next to him, Amp couldnt have stopped himself. The vibrations that the person created only made the explosive force increase further, making the destruction worse and reach outwards further.

When the power was finished with what it was doing, after about ten seconds of continuious destruction, Amp shut his eyes and began breathing heavilly, trying to calm himself. He had no way of knowing what happened to anyone around him. Then again he didnt know anyone was around him.

((Amp + Beat does make big boom, though if Beat isnt immune to the sound waves and the foces they exert on the body, then Beat will wind up jellatinized from the sheer force of the vibrations.))

((Not exactly... more like he manipulates sound waves... Basically... He could deflect it... But it'd probably wear him down... ))

Beats reacted on instinct alone. As soon as the sound waves and vibrations even started to emerge, Beats manipulated them around him, away from actually... Almost as if he was in a stream and the water couldn't touch him. He thought that he would have lost it... If the vibrations hadn't stopped. Breathing hard, he dropped to his knees, looking over at the other guy. If he could control that.... We could take out people like Phantom no problem.... We'd probably make a pretty decent team... He chuckled softly, trying to catch his breath.

"OW!" Angel yelped, hitting the ground and hoping the pain in her ears would go away. Her mark glowed a faint white, and the pain went away. She looked up and realized the person wasn't emitting any sound, in fact Blaze's wings were gone.

Blaze saw the ground and hit it hard. Everything went black, and he felt nothing. When he came to, he tried to flex his wings, but they weren't there, he tried to spark a flame, but couldn't. He turned to Angel and remembered she was his sister, then he forgot again. He knew the reason he couldn't use any of his powers was because of her.

((Ah, yea Amp is immune to sound waves and the forces they exert on him. Which is why he doesnt kill himself when h is power goes off. But this also means that if his body doesnt absorb the sound or the vibrations, he doesnt feel anything at all. So the only safe way to communicate with him really besides telepathy is writting out what you are saying.))

Amp pulled his arms apart and rolled over. His power had shredded the restraint jacket, his pale skin shone bright white in the sun light. As did his plae brown hair. He looked almost ghostly up close. And someone who saw him and put two and two together could figure out that he had been in the darkness of captivity for a long time.

Amp grabbed the headphones and almost took them off but stopped himself. He h ad to think about that move, he didnt know what would happen. He didnt care he threw them off, not wanting to have to have that voice in his head again.

But when he threw the headphones off, sound came rushing at him. The wind, birds (if there are any), sound of the crashing trees....

Oh no!

Amp's eyes widend as the quiet sound of some treest falling from the first explosion crashed in the background. Amp went scrambeling for the headphones but was to late. The sounds reached Amp and washed over him. But nothing happened. His eyes looked down at the ground and his body relaxed and h e sat back on his rump, looking up at the sun. Or what he thought was the sun. He didnt really care either way. He was happy just to be out of the darkness, out of the tests.

Or, so he thought.

(Hey ProperGamer, Angel can cause all of our powers to stop for a short while, hence why my character can't use his powers, she directed this towards you, me, Beats, and Verge, and I know this because Sammy is my actual sister.)

Blaze crawled up to Angel and passed out. Blazes head was cut open, and it was critical.

Angel covered her mouth, not knowing what to do. Her mark was still glowing when she ran to Beats and the new guy.

Beats was still in the process of figuring out why he couldn't manipulate sound waves. Confused, he tried again and again, catching sight of Angel. Maybe it was her....? He thought to himself before sighing. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out the small notebook he used for song writing, and a tiny pencil, writing down a quick message. 'Yo dude... You okay...?' It asked, before tossing it over to the new guy. He then looked towards Angel. "What's wrong...? You look pale as snow..."

((Let me know how many posts her power is going to be in effect. Or rather, when Amp's powers will be working again.))

Amp looked down at the booklet that the stranger had tossed down infront of him. He picked up the booklet and read its contents.

"Yo...dude."

His voice was hoarse and course from lack of use. He cleared his throat alittle but it didnt make it any easier to speak.Amp ended up just putting the booklet down on the ground and looking at the girl with the male who seemed to be bleeding profusely from his forehead. Amp just sat where he was and looked at the three people who were conversing. Listening...

Listening! It felt good to beable to hear again! Amp didnt know how long it had been since he could listen and not have to fear killing someone with an unexpected burst of force from his body.

It was then that Beats noticed Blaze. "Aw.... Shiz... The kit is back home... as well as anyone who could heal him..." Alister said quickly, thinking out loud. True the guy grated against his nerves, but he didn't want him dead. Sighing, Alister struggled to his feet, grunting. He stumbled over, picked up the notebook and wrote a quick note to the new guy. 'You coming with...?' It said, as he let the other see it. His powers still weren't working.

Verge was trying to figure out what was wrong. "I feel.... normal..."

(It will last until Blaze is healed, and it only happens in times of such great stress.)
Angel ran back to Blaze and looked at Beats with a look of terror.

Amp looked around, just taking in the light. It was amazing at how much it was taken for granted. As the person walked back over to the note book and picked it up, writing in it asking if he was coming along Amp looked down alittle. It was hard for him to trust, even before the incident that had given him this cursed power, he was alot of a loner. The begin detained, the being held agents his will, that only solidified his hatred of people.

Amp stood up, taking a few steps backwards shaking his head.

"Not... Again..."

He said hoarsely taking another step back. He didnt care that someone was hurt. He wasnt being tricked again.

Alister looked at him, sighing. "I understand your feelings.... I won't force you to come with us... Just be warned there are some people around here who wouldn't hesitate to hurt you." Reaching up to the head phones he unplugged them from the ipod and handed them to the other. "Those other head phones... looked like they were uncomfortable... Try mine." He grinned, then, not waiting for a reply, walked over to Blaze and attempted to lift the other up.... He'd have to half drag him half carry him to get anywhere.
God Blaze... Why are you so heavy....?" He grunted, stumbling off in the direction of base.

Ala was stirring in the cabin, but she wasn't actively awake.... Yet...

Kilman was quite tall, and lanky. he always wore his welding outfit because it was his only outfit. Kilman willingly entered C.O.R.E. by bribing a group of enforcers to allow him to bring his robots. his plan was to take over C.O.R.E., and use the resources and those captured to destroy all non-robots. he would however spare anyone who would swear their loyalty to him, and his cause. Kilman entered near the mountains and immediately started to mine it out to make his base. his robots looked like security cameras with legs. they were about 1 1/2 feet tall, and had a single claw coming from the under side, and could have a helicopter blade that rises out of it's top. the bots were extremely weak by themselves, but they have several tools that make them both useful, and dangerous in large numbers. currently kilman owns 10, but they are easy to make, and soon he would have a base to make more, and to produce ammo.
