I usually am very: It is difficult for others to get to know him because he acts shy and has anxiety towards strangers. However, once he becomes used to someone, he will never let go and will act troublesome. He is a cheerful, somewhat selfish preteen who is rather forceful with his opinions. Because he is short-sighted and impulsive, others can easily take advantage of him.

My Life So Far:
"I am like, totally one of the cutest members of thr zodiac, like my mom says. Even though I am like, a guy I totally look adorable in girl's clothing too! that is all I want you to know..."
Nice try Shinji, that little speech won't get you anywhere kid. Shinji's parents, Ena and Ryuzaki were both members of the Sohma clan, not so distant cousins to be exact, actually, they were first cousins and were looked down on becuase of their relationship. Of course while first cousin marriges were legal in Japan, they were able to get married at a young age, only eighteen, it was a shotgun wedding thanks to Ena being two months pregnant by the time their relationship was found out. by the time he was born, family members half expected their child to be some inbreed mutation, suprised to see a normal and exceptionally normally looking baby boy that the parents named Shinji.
The only priblem with the boy as that he was a member of the zodiac. The boy's parents were devestated, Ryuzaki convinced that it was his wife's fault, saying that his cousin seduced him even though he was equally at fault. The father left his wife and son on her own and Ena ended up raising her child until he was twelve years old. Bieng a rather shy child, declaring strangers to be scary, his mother let him go to a local public school so that he would know the children from the neighborhood to play with. Being a freeminded person, Ena let her child grow his hair out long, wearing it in braids down tto his mid back, because he thought it made him look cute and even went as far as to let him wear the school's female uniform.
At the time, many of Shinji's classmates believed him to be a girl, due to his appearance and that he played with most of the girls and acted shy around new people. By the time he had entered middle school he had stopped wearing men's clothing and acting like a boy all together. All of that ended when his father came back into his life. It was a normal day, shortly after his twelfth birthday when he heard a knock at the door, running to get it, he was shocked to see an oddly familiar man.
Ryuzaki was shocked by his son's appearance and immediatly grabbed him by the arm and dragged him to his mother. "What the hell did you do to my son?" he screamed, pointing to the lace dress and long braids. 'he is a man and you just turned him into a homo?" Being a short mionded man, he shortly filed for custody and won, not getting the family involved in the least bit. For Shinji, things were going too fast, he wqas being taken from his mother and forced to live with his father.
On the day that he went to live with his father, he was allowed a short goodbye from his mother. On the drive to the man's house, he was suprised when Ryuzaki made a stop at a local barber shop and had Shinji sit down in the chair. "What a cute daughter you have" the barber said, smiling at Shinji, who happened to be crying a the time.
"This is my son and I expect you to make him look like it!" Ryuzaki growled. Twenty minutes later, Shinji's long blonde hair was now just under an inch long and he looked like any other boy. dcue to his father's new rules, he was to dress like a boy and no longer speak in his "valley girl" accent. When he returned to school, his classmates were shocked to find out that he was really a boy and teased him for it. Often he was taken off of the playground for getting into fights, the other boys often picking on him and a teacher finding him crying.
After a few months, he was getting nowhere, failing ll of his classes and often in detention. that was when he got a visit from one of the heads of the Sohma family who asked him if he wanted to live at the main house instead of his father. Glad to be away from Ryuzaki, Shinji accepted the offer and left his home town. Since moving in the house one year ago, he has let his hair grow long again, just down past his chin now and will wear both boy's and girl's clothing. He has a haboit of clinging to the others and still says that strangers are "scary'.
Extra! Extra!:
He crossdresses as a hobby, and has a Nagoya schoolgirl dialect, often translated as a "valley girl" accent.

I usually am very: Mikado might just be one of the few nice gus out in the world anymore. Being the type who would give the shirt off of his back to somebody he had just met he is often taken advantage of. He is no idiot though, he knows when people will be the type to just use him or others around. When it comes to his sisters, mother, or other women is is very much a pushover, often saying that he likes women who smile and that it means that he is not doing his job right when they act otherwise. He is very protective of his family and actually likes being with them.

My Life So Far:
Mikado has lived his whole life in the same town and in the same home since the day that he was born. Being the second born out of five children and not to mention the only son, he was often the one pushed back while his parents had to deal with his sisters' dance lessons, conferences, personal problems, and god forbid they get a boyfriend. Yet his parents did not ignore him with intention, it was simply that even as a young child Mikado had a sort of stable independence and a self achiever that let people see that he would be one to help with problems instead of cause them.
In school, he was a normal student, not being an honor student nor a failure he seemed no to have many problems. Yet when middle school came around a two new interests came into Mikado's life; women and music. Music was something that he did not expect to like, but when it was time for him to choose an after school club in the seventh grade he was too late to join the kendo club that he originally wanted to join and settled for the school symphony. His instrument of choice was classical guitar with about two other students. Withen weeks he found out that he did enjoy making music and even began taking new lessons on the guitar after school. After that it became a normal sight in school to see Mikado with his guitar case strapped to his back and pulling it out during his lunch hour to pratice some chords.
With women though, Mikado learned what a flirt that he could be. He began dating shortly after his seventh grade year and unlike most boys his age, he seemed happy with the girl that he was dating at the time and never let his eye wander. To most girls, he was perfect being musical, good looking, and polite, well lets just say that he was never one to spend a friday night alone. By the time highschool came around he had already had his share of girlfriends, then he met Chiharu Sohma and things changed.
Even though she was a year below him Mikado found himself smitten, being attracted to her intelligence and self confidence. He found that he could be himself with her and often took her ctiticism to the heart and wanted to make her happy, even if his friends said that he was "whipped". At the same time though he was thinking about his future. College was out of the question for him and he wanted to make it big one day with his music, imagining himself being able to be on stage with his guitar and be able to play ballads and classical pieces of music, not some jpop idol or visual kei star that all the girls would fap over. Unfortunantly things began to change around the time that he was going to graduate.
Chiharu began to change from the girl that he fell for to some sort tempered woman who could be cruel and awful that Mikado could not even stand to be around. Their relationship had taken a turn for the worst and the school's it couple broke up. Whenever mIkado would try to ask her what happened with her he found himsekf blown off like a hunk of trash. When she left school shortly after that he found himself hurt yet getting over his first hearbreak. After he graduated high school he left for Tokyo.
His time in Tokyo was short, having lost all of his money to a supposed investment that happened to be a scammer after his money. For a short time he worked in a nightclub and played his guitar with a band but there was no money with that and he was back home after eight months, Feeling like a failure, his family took him in. Mikado had changed from the excited boy to a man with drams he could not yet achieve but is still working to. He has let his hair grown long and now works in a local video store in town and at night on Saturdays he plays his guitar at a local cafe,
Extra! Extra!:
He is a vegetarian and never watches television, claiming that it will destroy your brain from the waves. This is hipocritical because when he was growing up he was a total otaku and often got mad when he would miss his prime time animes at night.
