Desmond shuddered slightly. "It didn't help that my eyes were open." The way she put it made him smile. "Could be." he laughed.

Ivy laughed lightly. "Well. Whatever reason you're here for, I'm glad you are." She smiled and looked up at him.

Desmond smiled more. Another time he was glad dead people couldn't blush. Twice in the same afternoon, two more and he'd break his old record. "I'm glad you're here too." he couldn't think of anything witty, which didn't happen very often.

Ivy smiled and hugged him again, then looked out at the fountains. "I wonder if any fish swim in the pond...?" She said, more talking to herself then him.

Desmond put his arm over his shoulder. "I haven't actually thought about it." he was surprised he hadn't. He usually thought about random things, how had fish not been included anywhere?

Ivy laughed lightly. "I didn't wonder about it until now."

Desmond shrugged. "Neither did I." he said. "Now that you mention it, I nearly forgot what a fish was."

Ivy tilted her head. "Really? Guess I shouldn't be all too surprised. When me and Poison first came here we were confused and didn't know much. I guess it happens to everyone." She smiled.

Desmond shrugged. "I couldn't even remember my own name, you know." he smiled at the thought. Then frowned as he thought about his grave. The last name, date of birth, and date of death was all scratched out.

Ivy smiled. "Really?" She looked at him and frowned. "Come on! Don't get all... bleh." She hugged him.

"Oh, sorry. Force of habit, I guess." Desmond shrugged it off and looked at her again. He had forgotten it had been about a week since he woke up from his last dirt-nap. Shadow form wouldn't be leaving him alone for so long.

Ivy looked at him. "Okay." She stood on the tips of her toes and kissed his cheek. "Let's go see if there are any fish." She smiled.

Desmond smiled and followed her closer to the pond. "I'm sure I could find some if I tried." that was due, of course, to his ability to not breathe unless he wanted to.

By that time, he had climbed a tree, taken his shirt off and crouched to jump off and into the water, he made no splash. Intangibility was helpful sometimes.
