Aud hesitated for a moment and then shrugged. "He was with his grlfriend before, maybe something happened." She returned to her pineapple, poking the litle cubes of fruit. "That's all I can think of..." Aud said, partly lying.

Anubis felt the warm feeling of the feather in his hand, meaning that that wasn't the whole truth, but he wouldn't push it. "Oh, I see." He responded, crumpling the muffin wrapper in his hand.

Aud pulled out of her pocket a crumpled twenty dollar bill and threw it on the table lazily. She looked down at her feet for a second. "Hey, where's Horus anyway?" she asked, looking up towards Anubis.

Anubis looked at the money curiously, he really didn't have any american money, but the Egyptian equivalent was made of gold, so people usually accepted it. "I have no idea, he may still be in Cairo, probably fighting around here... Something like that."

Aus smiled, sitting up from her slouch. "Oh....kay." She drummed her fingers on the table, trying to find something to talk about. "Hmm....Nothing really to say now, huh?" she said almost jokingly.

Anubis leaned back slightly. "Not really." He had a few questions, but they were definitely ones she didn't want to answer. Something like 'What was it you were going to ask me before?' Or, 'Why was Shadow really acting that way?'

Aud noticed him drift off into thought, but ignored it, glancing around the diner. "Silence is unfair...." she said under her breath slightly. Aud froze suddenly, turning her full attention back to Anbubis. "Can you actually sew somene's head to their a**?" Aud asked, all joking put aside.

Edge walked into the diner and sat down he put his head in his hands

Anubis nodded. "Actually, It's really easy... Or so I hear. According to Osiris, you just bend them backwards and use a big needle."

Aud blinked, thinking about someone actually doing that. A small smirk appeared on her face. "Oh." she said, grinning slyly at the ground now. "Sounds fun..."

Aud's grin spread wider. "All the more fun." She paused for a second, wondering why she wanted to know these things. "Theyre still alive though, right? In the end?"

Anubis noted her amusement at the rather... Dark torture method. "I suppose of Osiris wants them to be."

Aud grinned even more. "Terrible. Osiris is...your dad, right? Horus spoke of your uncle," she said, getting rather serious and losing her grin. "Set, right? And your mother...I forget who Osiris was though...." she said thoughtfully.

Anubis nodded. "Yup. Zombie dad, more powerful god of the dead. Set is our psychopath uncle. Isis was our awesome mother." He said, not realizing how he was putting it in more modern terms... Zombie and psychopath weren't really words back then.
