[Zahzi]

"You lie. Why else did I have to stop in front of you?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"That's what I'm trying to figure out, but you won't give me a straight or honest answer." Julie growled, growing frustrated with the man.  

[Zahzi]

"I already told you. You were incapable of defending yourself."  

[xxxCheshireCat]

"Ah, I've got just the thing for you," the elder said.
She slowly got up and headed to the back to search for the items William had requested. William had sat back, and had his feet propped up on the desk when his second in command asked him a question. He turned over to her and thought about it for a moment.
"I come to her because she's the one who provides us with good information and maps dealing with goods and what not. There is no one else who can comepare to her," William replied.
"What was that?" the old woman asked, walking back with an armful of old maps.
"Nothing, I was just explaing to my naive Solaris here the reason I always visit you," William replied.

After the insulting answer, Julie pulled out her pistol with a scowl, and aimed the weapon in the center of Chekondai's forehead.

"Do I look defenseless to you?"

Solaris made a low moan in reply to William's answer. If the woman suited his needs, then so be it. Solaris wasn't sure the old hag was as trust worthy or informed as she sold herself to be though. But, if it kept William in good spirits and kept his boat afloat, so be it.

"I am not naive," she growled, irritated. "Merely curious."  

[Zahzi]

Chekondai merely stared up at the Captain, a dull expression on his face.
"Well? Are you going to shoot?"

'Do you want to die?" Julie asked, raising an eyebrow above the other as she stared at him curiously.  

[Zahzi]

"You have already shamed me."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"The only shame upon you is brought on by yourself." Julie grunted, holstering her weapon as she got up from the chair.
"I've done nothing to you." She left the tent, and Chekondai to his thoughts.  

[Zahzi]

"You chose to save your enemy." Chekondai grunted as she left.

For the rest of the night, Chekondai was left alone inside the tent, the surviving crew rested quietly through the night as they worried about their guest..

When morning came, Julian entered chekondai's tent.

"You still alive?" He asked gruffly.  

[Zahzi]

Chekondai had already found the strength to sit up on the bed, staring at a knife he had 'acquired' from somewhere around the camp. Whether he had picked it up before the attack, or late last night and returned to the bed was unknown..

"Why does it matter?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

As the glint of the native's knife finally caught Julian's eye, he glared down at it. How did I not see that last night..? He wondered as he turned his glare on Chekondai.

"Where'd the blade come from?"  

[Zahzi]

"What does it matter?" Chekondai grunted, still looking down at it.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"It matters. A lot." Julian growled angrily.

"Now where did it come from?"
