Malodore blinked, then flinched again as water crashed over them all. It gave Professor Savage a rather pathetic bedraggled look.

And then a bed was falling from the ceiling. What. The plague doctor sighed internally then raised its hand with the rest. "They're mutated, possibly vampiric, rabbit slippers. Possibly nagual slippers." May as well cover all the bases.

If there was any chatting going on before Savage slammed the door, Xiu was certain that the sudden splash of water had shocked most of them into silence, herself included. She cast a wide-eyed look towards Mitsu before turning back to the front of the class. While she listened, she tried to ignore the uncomfortable dampness that she felt over her. It was better than being soaked, but...it still wasn't the best feeling.

The topic for the class sounded interesting enough, though the bed suddenly dropping from the ceiling caused the Baku to jump. How had she even gotten that thing up there in the first place? ...Did she even want to know?

No, probably not.

She frowned when the professor pulled out the slippers and asked what they were. They were...exactly what they looked like, right? Or perhaps they were more important than they first seemed!

Christof gave a sad whine as Riley got up from leaning on him. She had been deliciously warm and soft and oh those fingers...

Now he had to pay attention.

With a sigh, he watched their professor as she made her speech, brows furrowing at the furry devices she held up. Was this a trick question? His Creator had slippers like that, only they didn't have the funny little ears... Regardless, he lifted up his chalkboard after quickly scribbling:

Lepus Slippers?

There, he was paying attention, see? Not... not wishing Riley would go back to cuddling him. but it seemed that tender, all-to-short moment was gone.

Introductions with the wolf-boil would have to wait. Professor Savage was up and moving and ohJack Aurian was a little bit scared. She sat straighter in her seat, determined not to show it (even if all she wanted to do was dive under her desk and melt into the shadows there).

The yelp she made when a torrent of water rained down on everyone didn't help. A pink flush covered her face. Aurian wanted to slink back into the shadows more than ever. She picked up her notebook and gave it shake while the Professor was dropping a bed into the room. The edges of the pages were damp, but Aurian thought the insides were safe.

She scowled at Savage. First that boat ride, now the teacher was almost messing up Aurian's chances of taking notes in class...

Then Savage whipped out a matched pair of items and Aurian was distracted. Really, really distracted. So much so that when the Professor asked what the slippers were, Aurian's first - and spoken - thought was, "Cute!"

In her defense, they really were. Fuzzy, with green hair and red eyes. Of course Aurian liked them.

... At least Savage had the other students for more accurate answers.

Now the water may have been fear laced and that was all great and dandy, but Danny certainly didn't know anything about that. She hopped up on the desk faster than should've been capable for a ghoul, and let out a scream. Danny looked at the water that now covered the ground. Well she was going to spend the rest of the class on her desk now, that was just great.

Danny whined at Professor savage, "T-teacher, please m-m-make it go awayyyyyyyyy." She was shaking now she was so startled and traumatized. Seriously, this school need major fire-friendly improvement.

She was so phased that she didn't even have time to think of what the teacher was asking, or why a bed was falling down from the ceiling. She was too busy being curled up in the fedal position, with her coat wrapped around her like Damien's stupid poncho. Note to self: NEVER SIGN UP FOR HUMAN STUDIES AGAIN.

Willow's ears flattened when the water suddenly fell from the ceiling after Professor Savage had shut the door and was moving around the room. That was a new thing, though being a ghost Willow supposed she could've just turned intangible and cleaned it up but that wasn't needed because she didn't feel like she'd just been drowned. The tigress was looking up at the ceiling curiously as to what just happened, apparently magic water was indeed magic.

There was a small waggle of fingers, in a gesture of hello; when the professor glanced at her. However not long after that Savage was starting class, speaking about Beds and IT that came from under the bed. The ghost watched amazed as a bed now fell from the ceiling and then savage picked up slippers.

The ghoul's eyes bounced around as others answered the question and seemed to have it pretty well covered. To the point the Byakko had no response that would be worth adding to the conversation. So she started jotting down what she thought was important in her notebook.

-It Came from Under the Bed
-Slippers: unhappy bunny, mutated, vampiric, rabbit slippers, possibly nagual ... "cute" ... ... ...

Willow couldn't see what Christof wrote on the chalk board so she couldn't actually add it to her list.... There was a small frown as she paused in her note taking.

Damien managed to shut his trap when Professor savage began to stir from her book. he almost forgot she was even there to begin with. But he knew it was coming and with all the frightening appearance of a tidal wave, he clung to his desk with his head down and felt the water splash over him and off toward its next target.

He had the smirk of satisfaction on his face as he pulled off the hood on his still dry face and hair. "All hail the glorious power of the poncho." he said menacingly before taking out his supplies onto the now drenched bench and began to get ready for the lecture that..... much to his shock wasn't about boats.

Was he in the right class?

and HOLY JACK beds falling from the ceiling. why did it always have to be some kind of shocking event occurring in this classroom. after he left go of his grip on the table and took a look at what was before him. "Oh, please tell me that animal wasn't skinned." he said mournfully, his face was pale at the sight of the soulless eyes staring back at him.

She'd have assured everyone that asked or checked on her that she was alright while she made her way to the seat near where Hel (and hopefully others she knew) was seated but then suddenly noises and water or at least she felt damp and uncomfortable. She let out a sound that was just a soft groan as she just flopped onto the seat that was unoccupied - she made sure by tapping around on the seat with her hands before settling.

Lattice just remained quiet as the teacher talked and noises were made she couldn't quite see as well. Oh sure she could make out vague shapes and maybe bits of color but other than that she was completely clueless as to what was going on and couldn't really input anything on the item in question, "Some pieces of really weird mold." She said in her quiet monotone.

That is all she could really make out.

She was determined not to let her spirit be broken by the class or what had happened so far.

Mot smiled lightly at Hel as she took a place in front of him, deciding to fold his arms on the desk and rest his chin down. "Good to see you in class. Is this your fir...." He trailed off, the sound of the professor's paper being slammed on the desk distracting him. Oh, so class must have been beginning. Mot kept his head down as he eyed the teacher, his gaze lingering on her moving form until she slammed the door.

And then the water.
Oh Jack the water.
It went down his SHIRT and it was cold and wet and---

Wait, was he? No, kind of. Still, the initial feeling of water splashing suddenly on him made the boil tense up, squeezing his eyes shut in discomfort for a while. The teacher seemed pleased to see them and their PLENTIFUL FACES, and Mot visibly flinched as thin faces were mentioned. Nuts to you and your face name calling!

The loud bang of the sudden bed falling made him jolt in place, his gaze shooting up. He tilted his head to the side to peek around Hel to see the bed and slippers be presented. What were they? Uh, duh? Mot did not lift his head up, and answered as was. "Slippers?" He replied in a rather snarky tone.

Hel clenched a fist at West’s…not so nice response to Lattice’s little accident. “Hey now…” She called across the room, in a light warning tone. “There’s no need to talk to her like that.” The reaper seemed a bit more at ease though when the wrath demon helped to pick her up off of the floor and apologized. When Lattice finally made her way over to her, the ghoul offered her a smile. “Good to see you again, friend.” She uttered, taking her seat now in front of Mot, turning to regard the cowboil. “You too, and yes, it is!”

The ghoul snapped back to face the front of the room as Savage began the class, and a grin was back on her face as she watched the professor move to the door and…greet them. The reaper was not expecting the downpour of water and cringed as it washed over her, but was relieved to see that she wasn’t soaked. Hel shook her head, airing out her braided pigtails before looking back at Savage with a light frown. What? They weren’t going to be learning about anything interesting?

The disappointment was setting in, but it quickly vanished when a bed dropped in through the ceiling. A look of surprise and awe was on the ghoul’s face now as she leaned forward at her desk and just stared. Even when the professor pulled out the slippers, she remained quiet for now, seeing as how others were already answering the question. Hel glanced back at Mot when he answered in a snarky tone, raising a brow curiously.

She watched as it happened. A ghoul she'd not yet seen around came in and sat right down on the wrath demon. All sorts of laughter went off in her head and she fought the urge to point and laugh. This, however, would've been rude to the poor ghoul. West? Not so much. This new ghoul didn't seem to know the difference between an empty one and the demon who filled that one (kekeke~), but Hel knew her. This new ghoul. Can't teach that boil any sorta manners, eh? Levi shook her head while saying this to Holly. She merely offered a sinful smirk to the wrath demon seat West after the incident while Lattice came over to sit close to her and Hel. It also humored her greatly to hear the Valk threaten West. Great to have another rough ghoul around

Growin' crops n' visitin' folks, not much else, screecheart. She smiled at the Valk before once again snickering at the hound. Rex, yer digging' a hole, fellar. Indeed Demi was. Levi offered a wave back to Yaya before- - -

As the Professor slammed the paper down and seemed to begin class, Levi watched her head to the doorway. What- and she was drenched by a drive-by waterfall. She hadn't been prepared for that to happen at all. She began ringing out her hair and her tail shook on instinct to get dry. Another interesting class to be sure. Truly, the tatzel ghoul could say she was never hit with a tidal wave from the ceiling of her last school back home. Her sudden thought then was to look at Lattice and Hel. You two alrighty that? She peered quickly at Xiu too and smiled at the Baku when she saw she hadn't been swept away by the water like she'd imagined.

When the trap door opened to reveal a bed, Levi raised a brow at Professor Savage who pulled out the slippers from underneath and inquired about them. ...they're lepus' right? or at least, they looked to be modeled after them. If she put Read, her Lepus Guide, beside them, you could see the resemblance.

Then it also hit her- speaking of what little manners she knew of... eh- shame on me. Hadn't even asked yer name, screecheart. Don't think none 'bout what happened thar. Things happen ta all a' us at sum point, eh? She said this almost in a whisper to the needle-handed ghoul with a follow-up chuckle. Name's Levi. Good ta meetcha'! She wasn't too sure if shaking hands was a good way to go in this case, so the tatzel kept her hands to herself.

Riyo noticed more and more faces that she recognized in the room, almost growing uncomfortable with the familiarity. How had she gotten to know SO MANY PEOPLE?

It didn't take long for her to forget about that fact, however. The feline had just managed to dry off her ear when the wave of water came crashing down on her just as she was about to remove the last little droplet of water.

Sitting still for a moment, the expression on her face was priceless. She looked, literally, like a drown cat. Without a word, she angrily tossed down the soaked handkerchief and decided to just deal with it. ******** this mess.

The professors introduction was odd... Commenting on their fat little faces like that. Then again, what HAD she expected the professors to be like?

Raising her hand momentarily, Riyo figured she'd take a crack at it. "Ugly. That's what they are." Lets see where the smart-assery took her. Sometimes it earned her points... Most times she got in deep s**t. At the very least, this class wasn't about boats. She almost heard relief wipe over most of the room at that fact.

Holly rose a brow at the confused looks that had been crossing West's face before his greeting. She hadn't been too sure of what to say exactly either or how but they were friends right? Even if he did avoid her for how long because of ... Yeah she was going to forget that for the moment so she can make it through this Jack forsaken class. She waved back. The ghoul almost missed Demi's wave but quickly waved back too. Hadn't seen him in a bit either. She had almost missed Yaya's greeting from when she walked into class, so was sure to include her in getting a wave as a hello since she seemed to be further away.

She was glad to have Levi there so she didn't have to talk to some complete stranger or have small talk with certain boils who she didn't feel completely up to talking to. "Seems so! Should go over our schedules later and see if we have any more." Holly grinned and noticed that Levi saw who else was in there. "Shame they have to let just anyone in right?" She whispered. Who knows what fun this class would bring.

... Did someone just sit on West. Holly had almost missed that fun. She looked over to the boil. "Smooth West." Really smooth.

No boats, thank whatever being was looking over all of them. Her little boat she made was awesome but Holly had despised that boat from the trip and the darn Whisp that had been on it with them. Just, why. What came from under the bed? Well she knew what a bed was either way, that was a start. "Slippers?" Was this a trick question or something.

----

Eracs just sat there completely excited about the prospect of class. He said hello to everyone that walked in the class after him.

He had no idea what a boat was when the teacher mentioned it. Then he realized he would take a note of it but didn't even know what to spell boat. He looked to the nearest person. "Hello! How do you spell boat?" Perhaps learning how to write properly would have been a good thing to do before coming to school.

The slippers were fuzzy and adorable and he again had no idea what to even call them. Never had he changed his shoes so the thought of putting on anything else was strange to him. The boil's hand shot up and waved back and forth. "Oh! Do they go on your hands?"

"I am alright," Lattice said to a voice that seemed directed in her vicinity though it could have been talking to someone else. Really, by speaking up she couldn't embarrass herself anymore than she had already.

Lattice refused to get up or move anymore after she settled on her freed seat. She offered Hel a slight smile and a nod while uttering a quiet, "Good to see you as well, Hel. Thank you for showing concern," in a quiet tone as she had heard Hel speak up earlier during her moment of turbulence. She Then turned her head toward where she had heard Levi talking, Lattice could only assume that the introduction was pointed toward her. The ghoul offered a small smile to Levi, "I am Lattice, pleased to meet you," she uttered in polite monotone.

Slowly but surely Lattice was getting over her prior embarrassment and annoyances. It helped that there was a friendly voice and a familiar one as well. She blinked quietly behind her mask and listened to the others as they spoke up offering their answers, finally paying a little more attention.

...Maybe she was wrong about her mold assessment. Oh well.

Sheridan had been watching Petro from the corner of his eye. What he would have done had a fight started he did not know, but somehow felt the need to at least be aware in case his friend needed him.

Unfortunately this meant he did not see that the professor had risen from her seat until it was too late. The slam of the door had been his only warning, and by then--

ARRRRGGGG!!

The dragon growled, a glare leveled at the front of the classroom. Not again! Was he going to be drenched every single time he came to this class?! A snort, his arms folded, his tail twitched angrily. He was going to have to start bringing a raincoat to this class, what was it with Professor Savage and water anyway?

Despite his irritation at being drenched yet again, Sheridan listened to the professor as she spoke, a brow raised as the words 'under the bed' were followed by a bed falling from the ceiling. Okay, well that was...interesting.

And then there were the slippers. Slippers, really? Was she serious, really? What was so special about a pair of slippers?
