Obsidian's lip twitched and he watched Dragon do that "thing" with his fingers again.It was like a habit of his or something.His horns swirled at the top of his head as he spotted large rocks floating in their path."Asteroids," he said and flipped up a glass case that protected a red button,"Press it."

Kalypso was too embarrassed to be in the same room with Dragon from the accident that she caused.She had heard the boys' entire conversation and wanted badly to hug him."Darn." she said, knowing that it wouldn't be because she cared but of her injected feelings like Obi and Kadah.

He eyed the button carefully. "Wh-Why?" he asked and eyed Obsidian before realizing his mistake. A small meteor came dangerously close to the ship, but they dodged it and Dragon yelped. It was so close that he could see little specks of dirt fly off it. Without waiting for Obsidian's reply, the young boy turned around and hesitantly pushed the button.

A sharp whistling erupted from the bottom of SunStorm and a pair of missiles shot out at the rocks.They connected with the closest one in their path and exploded taking the asteroid with it everywhere.Space was filled with bellowing flames of yellow and orange with a tinge of red.Fragments of rock hit the glass but couldn't get through to harm them.Obisidan leaned back in the chair and placed his boots on the panelboard."Nice instinct, but we're lucky there's withstandable glass." he praised.He had trusted three lives in Dragon's hand and he got the job done....and just in time.

He winced at the rocks that slammed into the wall, trying to hit him but to no avail. The safety lightened his spirit, and pride ebbed into his golden eyes. "So... Where are we anyway?" he asked and stared at his neighbors shoes.

two little girls of about two years old, stumbled out of a tiny portal, holding hands tightly as they looked around. their eyes landing immediatly on their cousin, who was, technecally, younger then them. "dragon..." they mumbled, walking over to him slowly. as they moved, droplets of red liquid fell off their linked hands... blood leaking out of a series of cuts on their arms.
Lavender & Coco. that's what had been marked onto their arms. no, not by their mothers.... by their grandmother. the woman had carved it into their arms not an hour ago before letting them go. a reminder that she was still there. and that they were letting their guard down. the blood still flowed freely from their cuts, poison stinging at their skin.

Dragon felt his body grow numb when he heard his name called out. It couldn't be his father because he ran away again. It couldn't be his grandfather because the voice was too high. It couldn't be Kalypso because the voice sounded younger. Dreading the thought of finding another relative that begged him to come back, he turned around and stumbled out of his chair at the sight. Two young twins with bleeding words etched on their arms. Jesus, it was like watching a horror movie! His wide, frightened eyes returned to normal size when he read the words. Lavender and Coco. He'd heard those names before... But that wasn't important right now. Right now there were bleeding twins that came from God-knows-where, and they knew his name. Heart beating twice as fast and a brain that told him to ignore them, he slowly but surely got closer to them, though he had no idea what to do.

"d-dragon...." the toddlers mumbled as they finally made it to him, holding onto his pants tightly as they hugged him. their little bodies shook weekly as they clung to their cousin tightly. "c-cousin...." they stammered, a few tears falling from their eyes as they looked up at him. "i-it hurts..." they sniffed, still holding him tightly. "g-gramma h-hurted us again...." they frowned, reaching up with their bloody arms.

He twinged a little when they grabbed his legs, feeling their warm blood ooze through his suit. His terror only grew when their blood soaked hands reached out for him, as if the dead were reaching out to take him with them. He shook his head, frightened tears flying off his face. No, no, no! They were his... his cousins! Whoever their grandma was, she hurt them, and they need help now. "O-O-Obsid-dian," he stuttered and looked over his shoulder for help. "D-D-Do you kn-know how to f-f-fix cuts?" he asked, feeling a hand land on his chest.

Obsidian watched as the girls huddled with Dragon no matter how terrible their conditions were.With the two of them in contact with the boy he took the moment to teleport them to the small medical wing of the ship.Hesitation was not in his mind today.He scooped them up, one in each arm and placed them beside eachother on a table."Direct pressure is all we can do now...unless they heal." he replied and searched cabinets for bandages or towels.

the little toddlers sniffed and continued to hold hands tightly when they were picked up and set on a table. "g-gramma...p-put..poison... in them..." they stuttered, crying more now that they were away from their cousin.
their small bodies seemed to start to slowly curl up before the two began losing consciousness, the poison and blood loss getting to them.

Dragon kept watch of what was happening, but he pressed his body against the wall as if there were some doorway that led back to the school on Earth. He could feel the world try to spin around and around from how fast everything was going. But something kept a firm hold on him. It was the cries coming from the two little girls. He couldn't quite understand it, but their cries were tugging on his heart. It was like a small, small voice in his mind knew them and kept telling him to go to them. What did he have to lose? After a few minutes, Dragon's legs finally managed to function and walked towards the gang.

despite the fact that the little girls were only half conscious, they immediately reached for their cousin when he moved towards them. "D-dragon..." they sniffed, managing to hold onto one of his hands with their good ones.

Dragon hesitated, feeling panic grip him like the girls did, but stayed where he was. He gently squeezed their hands back despite the chilling feeling.

the twins smiled at him, leaning on each other to keep upright. their soft eyes glimmered as they looked at him, ignoring the tiny portal that opened up behind him.
from the small portal, flew out two toddler sized dragons that matched the colors of the twins' dresses. the beasts gave tiny roars before flying speedily over to their mistresses, nuzzling them softly as they gave the girls worried looks.

He felt his lips curl into a small smile as he watched the girls. When he saw the dragons, he wanted to shout out Dog's name, but he caught himself when he really saw them. They were about the size of Dog's whisker, and they didn't even have her blue scales. Then a small frown climbed over his smile. If only Dog were here, but her size would bust the ship and she can't fly in space.
