Ark had quickly gathered his senses and sat up. "I'm fine. Something wrong?" he asked, noticing Nezumi's blushing.

"N-nothing!" Nezumi studdered, turning away from the other.

"Sounds like you were stunned by my beauty or something," Ark said with a laugh. "Do you need something? Or was I just in the way, sleeping on the couch and all?"

Nezumi rolled his eyes and slightly joked by saying, "Yes, I was just SO stunned~" True, Ark was very nice on the eyes, but he would proably never say it to the man.

"I'm glad you woke me up so we could share that moment, then," Ark said, trying to sound serious. "Anyway, what time is it? I need to get to sleep by ten."

Nezumi looked down at his watch and then back to the other. "9:30," he said looking at the other, wipping away his blush.

"Well, is there anything you need from me? Anything to discuss?" Ark asked. "If not, I'll go sleep."

Nezumi looked down at the floor and then sat down to remove his own shoes. "No," He said not wanting to bother Ark. "Oh, and you don't have to wait up on me. You work hard, so I'm sure you're sleepy."

"Work hard? Not at all," he said with a scoff. "I just get tired from waking up so early." Ark stretched with a yawn, and sat still, waiting for Nezumi to say something.

"I'm sorry you have to get up so earily. I'll always try to have something on the table for you in the morning. Maybe that will make you feel better about having to get up so earily." Nezumi said standing back up and looked at Ark.

Ark opened his mouth to say something then shrugged, deciding against it. "You don't need to make anything for me; I'm quite capable of managing on my own."

Nezumi looked down at his shoe's once again. "Ok, I won't," he said never looking back up. "Well good night," He mutered before he dashed off to his room.

Ark got up with a smirk, amused at how flustered Nezumi was. He was very tired, so he went to his room and quickly fell asleep, not spending any time considering the day's events.

Nezumi woke up when Hamlet started crawling on his face. "No, boy." he said to the rat, "He said that he can do it on his own." He flipped to his side thinking; he felt like cooking and cleaning was the only thing he could do for Ark. He wanted the other to see that he could be helpful.

Ark woke up and got dressed earlier than he intended; he was still used to his schedule living farther away from work. He left his room without making an effort to be quiet, and walked to the kitchen. He searched the kitchen for a glass, filled it, and sat at the table drinking water. He wasn't comfortable rummaging around someone else's kitchen, and was trying to decide whether he should go out and eat or hope there's something at the school.
