[Field Trip] Trapping a Dragon! (Trap Away! pg. 3/ pg. 4)

*Hopping in the Tardis with Theidren*

Moriko nodded to the girl thankfully. She had been debating on going off on her own, but she hadn't trapped in the area before and company would be quite nice. "Thank you. That would be lovely." She told Fiona before she sat back down in her seat to settle in for the rest of the ride. They were getting closer and she didn't want to bug the other girl too much.

-Put your hands on your hips-

After Moriko had gathered her kit from the teacher, she looked through the group for the Ghoul she had met on the bus. There not too far away from her, Moriko spotted Fiona with a small group of other students. She walked up to the group and managed to mingle herself in. "Would it be okay if I joined you guys?" She asked when she had the opportunity.

-You bring your knees in tight-

Moriko had mingled herself in with the group as they made their way to the beach. It wasn't exactly the spot that she would have chosen but it wasn't a bad one either. If she had been more willing to go off on her own she might have gone up to the cliffs. However, she was here to meet more people and going off alone would defeat the purpose of that goal.

As everyone began to set their traps, Moriko went off a little ways and found a few spots that she deemed appropriate. The others seemed to be fairly immersed in their own conversations so she kept to herself for a while and allowed them space to chat. Though she had to admit, it was nice having people near her even if she was still technically by herself.

After her traps were set she waited a while, wondering how long it might take before she would catch a dragon. She knew there was a chance that she wouldn't even find one, but it wouldn't do to worry about that.

Not wanting to scare anything away from her traps, she went to walk along the beach for a while. The wind blowing through her hair felt nice but she was glad that she had dressed warmly for the occasion. If the sun had been out and the weather warmer, it might have been nice to lay on the sand and soak up the heat. She might have even gone for a swim then, but the water was too cold and she didn't dare try it now.

-But it's the pelvic thrust-

Having walked long enough, Momo made her way back to her traps, hoping that they might be full. In her first trap Momo was pleased to see a Pygmy Dragon, but she was much less pleased when she realized the coloring was one she had already seen before. Reluctantly, she let the creature go and went off to check on her other traps. In her second trap, Moriko was ecstatic, she had managed to catch another pygmy dragon, and this time she didn't recognize the coloring.

"Hey guys!" She called out to the others. "I think i got one!"

Millie caught herself falling asleep a few times watching these traps. She had missed lunch trying to catch one, but watching these traps was like watching paint dry. Surely there was something more proactive she could do? She really wish she had hopped on with the other groups if only for a little company.

After setting a few quizzles free, Millie found one of her traps contained a dragon. She knew it was a dragon, but wasn't sure if it was one of the ones the professor was looking for. Regardless, she brought it back hoping it was one they was looking for.

"TO THE MISTY FIELDS!" She yelped out, letting Yaya go and bounding towards the path that would lead them to the foggy, open fields. It would be easy to catch things here! Except.. it was really hard to see..

In fact, as soon as she got there, she almost completely lost track of all three of them. She considered calling Marco Polo when something bumped against her leg.

It, too, looked absolutely lost.

"HEY, GUYS!" She assumed they were at least close enough to hear her. "GUESS WHO'S ALREADY FOUND ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE."

((Due to a hectic crazy schedule the past few days, I'm gonna leave the trapping open for a couple more days until my next day off. So Tuesday night is the new deadline, I will be closing it sometime before 10pm EST, and then sending out prize stuff!))

Much to Kettil's shame he'd caught nothing yet. Unless you count silver seeds. Then he caught those. After they had gotten to the Misty Fields he'd pretty much lost track of Freya as she flittered off else where.

Until she suddenly let out a shout. Within a couple of words he peeked at her..

Stuck out his tongue.

Freya couldn't hear Kettil's tongue sticking out, nor could she see it. But oh.. she felt it.

She felt it.

"I knows yehr out there, Hooter.." She grinned, stalking for him like prey. She pounced on some movement nearby, wrestling it to the ground..

..oh.

Another dragon. Would you look at that.

"FREYA IS TWO FOR TWO, SUCKERS. Better gets that credit card ready, Muka!"

Ulmuka was just as empty handed as Kettil. He'd caught all kinds of things actually but none of them were dragon. The strix was chewing idly on something, hopefully not a mini, while he clasped the strings and sticks that comprised one of his traps.

He shot a side eye to Kettil. Let's sabotage her, the look said.

Kettil snorted as she missed him by at least a good couple of feet. "You might be winning but you still couldn't catch me," he taunted. He was a good few IQ levels above minipets, thanks.

The boil, during his movements, caught the look of Muka and gave him a questioning look of his own. How does one sabotage someone that already has the minipets? It isn't like Freya was going to fall for any sort of trickery.

"..Gettin' a lot of silver seeds," he hummed softly and pocketed them. He wasn't going to just discard those, no way.

Kettil finally caught one.

"...It has pink spots," he observed as he looked it over.

Did that mean it was sick?

Was that natural?

AHHH. WHY DID HE KNOW SO LITTLE ABOUT SMALL DRAGONS!!!??!

Freya almost rammed into Kettil when she started to head back to camp. He was carrying a dragon too, but no matter - she had two of them. Three, if you counted the one that she'd let go because it was too cute to catch. But Kettil's dragon..

"ACH." She squealed. "WHY YEHR DRAGON IS SO MUCH CUTER." She had her hands full, so the only thing she had left to do was to bite him on the shoulder in anger.

"Because I am awesome," he grinned back at her only wincing slightly as she bit his shoulder.

The fact that she had rammed into him was a welcome one and he simply said, "Oh look, you finally caught me." This was a few moments after her exclamation at him.

He was the very best and most mature boilfriend that Freya was stuck with forever.

He was now in the process of enjoying his walk back with Freya. She might have the most dragons but he didn't really care too much. She won fair and square.

Olivia had no idea how a shoe had gotten inside the box, or what kind of creature could have actually possessed one to only lose it inside a little box. The feather made sense at least. But it didn't matter to her, these were like gifts from the peak and she was keeping them.

Along with the nice shiny rock that was nearby, oh there was also a piece of pink ribbon under it. "Moving it seems like a nice idea," would provide a little more coverage of the area and the box seemed to prove at least a little successful although with catching not dragons.

Hefting her collection of random items, Olivia followed after Molan back to his hole. Her eyes went wide at his announcement and she hurried a little faster to peer around him to see what he was holding. Or fighting a little. Trying to keep from running away. "It looks like a dragon," she stated obviously. It looked like something she had seen in a book. Just smaller. Well, that's what pygmy meant.

So, it seemed right and she nodded enthusiastically. "Shall we go turn it in?" It seemed too late for some last ditch miracle for her to find one at this point, but at least someone in their duo had done something right.
