[FIN] Calling the Shot

She whined softly, unable to stop herself, her arm wrapped around her middle as her other hand gripped the side of the shower door as her stomach heaved again.

As he pulled back her hair and rubbed her back, she kept her eyes closed, though tears welled and escaped over red flushed cheeks. She kept her face turned away, mortified, even through her drunkenness to be seen in such a state. Finally, she settled a little, and with her face still turned away, mumbled a weak, " 'm sorry..."

Yuri just stayed there and waited for her to get it over with. When she apologized though, he just shook his head.

"Naw, don't be... happens to everyone."

She wasn't the first and wouldn't be the last. Even he had found himself in that state a couple times. It was just part of getting drunk.

Her shoulders shook a little as she leaned back and grabbed for a towel, covering her face with it. " 'ssssoooo gross!" she whined, her voice again almost completely muffled.

If this is what getting drunk meant, she would certainly never ever ever do it again.

"Yeah... try not to get that drunk most'a the time," Yuri said, his words slurring lazily. "You'll be okay. What's gross is bein' wet."

He was kinda getting tired of these soaked clothes hanging off him. Letting go of her hair now that she seemed to be done puking, Yuri stood up.

His comment was responded to with only another soft whine, but she uncovered her face and looked around. "Yeah.... So gross.... should be not wet..." she mumbled through a hiccup, picking again at her tank top.

Pushing herself to her feet, she looked around and groaned, then just threw the towel in her hand over the mess she had made, before mopping it up--though not to her sober-self's satisfaction-- and tossing the soiled towel into the bathtub. That done, she moved to the sink, leaning on it heavily as she pulled an unopened toothbrush from the drawer and struggled to open it.

Bleh these wet clothes were starting to get itchy and annoying. There was only one way to remedy that. Thus Yuri started peeling off his wet socks and tossed them aside, followed by his shirt. Bleh.

He then noticed Dove's predicament and grinned, reaching out to take it from here.

"Lemme do it..." he said before using his teeth to rip open the package and then hand the toothbrush to her.

So enthralled was she by the mystery of the toothbrush company's packaging technique was she, Dove missed Yuri's quick removal of his socks and shirt.

She blinked as he took the toothbrush from her hand, her brow furrowing as he ripped the packaging open. "Hey, that's not how you use a toothbr-- Oh."

With the toothbrush now offered to her, she took it and covered it in toothpaste--with a few too many pumps of toothpaste-- and proceeded to brush her teeth.

Yuri smirked and just sat there, really unsure what to do with himself at the moment. Thus he wandered out of the bathroom, cause watching her brush her teeth was pretty boring. He thus made his way into one of the bedrooms and flopped himself down on a bed, folding his arms behind his head and just... waited.

Once her teeth were brushed--like, five times-- Dove washed her face and grabbed a hairbrush from the still open drawer, then went out into the bedroom, only to find Yuri half naked and sprawled across her guestbed.

"Hey! You're getting my pretty sheets all wet...." she pouted, pointing the hairbrush at him. "And you don't have clothes on."

Yuri just waited for her right there, staring at the ceiling boredly as she took an eternity just to brush her teeth. It was a wonder she had any enamel left when the woman finally emerged.

When she did, he suddenly sat upright once more and gave her a lop sided grin. "It's just water," he told her, clearly unconcerned about the idea of him making it wet.

"I do too. Still got pants. That's what matters, right?" And those wet clothes were getting really annoying and cold. And unlike her, he didn't exactly have anything to change into here since it was her apartment.

She frowned deeply, and shook her head, moving closer to him and tugging at a loop on the jeans she had bought him. "C'moooon! I just changed those!" she complained, not thinking twice about how odd it might be for one to change bedclothes in a guestroom that had supposedly had no guests.

She continued to tug at him, shaking her head. "Who cares, they're still wet. I'll find more for you," she promised simply, pointing to the closet with her free hand.

Blinking a couple times as she tugged at one of his belt loops he looked down and the groaned a little before standing up. Well if she was gonna complain that loudly about it he might as well.

"Huh? Why would you have something that would fit me? You have guys coming over all the time?"

She nodded triumphantly as he got up, and let go of his clothing to walk over to the closet, though what he said made her freeze in her tracks, a sad frown on her face as she looked at him. Ouch.

But only for a minute, as she quickly recovered and opened the doors, rummaging through the boxes stored away there. WIthin a few minutes, she produced shorts and a large t-shirt, and tossed them carelessly onto the bed in Yuri's general direction. "There! Now you don't have to be wet or naked!" she smiled brightly, shaking her head. "And I just have them. I used to sleep in them, sometimes." A shrug.

He didn't miss the face, but really it just left him rather perplexed. "Was it something I said?" he asked, not having meant anything by the words... its just what came to his mind first. All thanks to the alcohol.

When she tossed the clothes on the bed, he looked at them for a moment, finally picking up the shirt as she gave explanation. Huh... okay. Didn't really matter much to him. Thus he slipped the shirt on over his head.

She didn't bother to respond to his question verbally, and only offered a sloppy headshake to dismiss it instead. He said only fun tonight, soooo that's all she wanted was fun. Especially after being sick. Though sitting down now sounded good too.

After watching him put on the t-shirt, she again nodded, then slipped out the guestroom door and let herself into her bedroom, looking around curiously. "Looooooooveeeyyyyy...."
