"Bloody typical," Aulus growled, rolling his shoulders and retrieving his staff. "Damn stupid kids don't know when you quit, do they? Well, they can't say we didn't warn them." Releasing his team once more the scarred Rocket glanced at Harvard. "So, time to crush them like the pathetic little wretches they are?"
Rubbing up against her master's leg Tortie growled at the rank of opponents before her.
Char snorted smoke and flexed his wings.
Put in Red with a screech, flaring her wings.
would be more fun than just slithering around here!> chuckled Discord.
Phaethon snorted and stamped a hoof.
Paul crawled behind Aulus's right boot. the little spider lamented piteously.
As Faleen's team took off Aulus shrugged, no time like the present he guessed, and made a sharp gesture towards the group of trainers. "Get them."
Char and Phaethon moved first, striking at the Shiftry with a Flamethrower from the charizard and a powerful Flare Blitz from the Rapidash.
Taking to the skies Red attacked the Grovyle with Aerial Ace, whilst on the ground Paul peeked out from behind the cover of Aulus' boot and attempted to Disable it.
Tortie chose the Haunter as her target and unleashed a Night Slash upon it with a vicious snarl.
Last of all to act was Discord, he had been doing 'eenie meenie' to decide where he was going to strike and, mind made up, he surged towards the Golduck to lash out with Dragon Tail.

When the dust settled - or most of it, anyway - Becca stood and dusted herself off a bit. Huh, that wasn't so bad. She couldn't help but pout as she looked in the direction of HQ though, and let out an irritated whine. "Aww, maaaannn.. We can't see any of it from here!" And that explosion was probably one of her best yet, too. Oh, well... Looks like she'd just have to top it somewhere with better visibility.
With such cheery thoughts boosting her optimism back up, the elite offered a quick "thanks Panel" before she returned her Solrock and instead let out her Scrafty - not to battle, but to help. "Come on, Bris, Zepp," she said, putting her weight on one foot with one hand on her hip, while her other hand raised to point a single thumb over her shoulder, "let's go help out with the cargo." With sounds of affirmation from her Scrafty and her Drifblim, the trio moved to aid those reloading the last of the cargo. The sooner it was finished, the sooner they could leave - if the various Rockets around could finish off those idiotic trainers first, of course.

Zacharie turned his attention to Jerome as the older man spoke, his body obviously relaxing at the gentle pat to his shoulder. He nodded once, his vision swimming as his head bobbed, and turned his attention back to the medic. "...Alright." He agreed with the man's logic, even though his face was itchy and stinging. Now wasn't the time to put up a fight, not that he had the strength to do so anyway. "Shuppet?" Jabari questioned, but he wasn't looking at his trainer. The trainers were apparently, stupidly, still wanting to fight. It looked like the Shuppet wanted to go back out and fight. "Jabari." He coughed, plucking two oran berries from his pouch and holding it up to his pokemon. Essex and Jabari each eagerly took one.
Jabari exclaimed, rushing the enemy energetically and aiming Will-o-Wisp at the Grovyle.
Essex, on the other hand, hovered nervously around his trainer. "Gastly...Gast Gast..." Zacharie blinked owlishly from behind his bangs. "Go on, Essex." He murmured, bracing himself for the medic to move his arm. The Gastly whined, moving to do as Zacharie had told him. He used Confuse Ray on the Emboar.

As the trainers had decided not to let up even in the sandstorm, Tambrey stood forward and ready with her team mates as they mounted an offensive on the trainer-pokémon blockade.
"Lasi, Pygi, Wing Attack and Gust. Grovyle and Shiftry." She instructed the two fliers, then called out Treestar. "Tree', Razor Leaf that Golduck!"
She was shaken, but fine, and focused on the task ahead. She doubted any of her pokémon would actually be as much help moving cargo as they might battling, but, being uninjured, she supposed her team could probably handle itself for the moment, and moved to help finish up with reloading the cargo herself.

The Emboar grunted as it resumed battling the enemy, not backing down from Umbreon's challenge, and sending back its own attack of Flamethrower. The Confuse Ray from Jabari may have given it a headache a few seconds later, but otherwise failed to distract the angered boar.
The fire attack from Char did no favors for the Shiftry. The Shiftry readied another Razor Wind, while Pelipper intercepted and return attacked Phaethon, as well as Char, with Brine. The Gust from Pygi would meanwhile be intercepted by the now awake Poliwrath, and returned in the form of Water Gun.
The Grovyle was injured by Red, but that didn't stop it from burrowing down into the ground with another Dig. If Paul's move worked, it had yet to be seen, and Jabari's and Lasi's attacks would come a second too late.
The Haunter survived the attack on it, and sent a Confuse Ray back at Tortie
As for the Golduck being attacked by Treestar and Discord, it tried an attempt at fighting back, first ducking to dodge the Razor Leaf, but the attack from Discord hit before any return attack and sent it rolling back to the Trainers. One of the Trainers sent out Growlithe to replace it. The pup jumped right in with Flame Wheel.
Spiritomb would swiftly find its attack blocked by the Umbreon in the latest lineup. It shook its body as though shaking off water, and then dove in with a Faint Attack. The attack from Absol above was intercepted by Jolteon. The attack returned was an angry Thunder Shock. Thanks to their interference, the trainer Umbreon and Jolteon also meant they intercepted Zoroark's Night Daze. Since the Eons were busy with their own targets, the Rapidash named Biscuit charged Zoroark with Take Down in their place.
Harvard followed the direction of Faleen's voice to locate the other Rocket. "Agent, do not attack the trainers directly." The order was muffled behind the best collar being held over Harvard's nose and mouth, but that did not affect the stern tone.
The revving and sputtering of an engine could be heard, closely followed by a second, much more successful attempt to keep the engine to the cargo truck running. One down. The driver for the personnel van jogged over to his own assigned vehicle and climbed into his spot. It choked and gagged the first two tries, but at last there was the matching rattle and roar of both vehicles being functional. Two down. He rolled down his window to lean out. "Alright, we got it! Everything is balanced and secured!"
For the moment, Harvard ignored him, still focused on Faleen. Finally, she called the order to everyone, "Fall back to the vehicles! Leave out the Pokemon that can follow on their own until we are clear!"

The van had earned its keep well. The side facing the blast was buffeted and scraped, and the treated windows had chips here and there with cracks threatening to spider outward, but it had stayed solid.
Harvard recalled Cornell and was the last to climb into her seat. "Everyone in? Good. Get us out of here, Agent." The last part was to the driver of their van, and the man was more than happy to do so.
"Hey!" One of the girl trainers shouted, indignant that the criminals were making their getaway. "Hey, we're not finished here!" It wasn't like she had much say on the matter, though. The mini convoy began to pull away. The Trainers made one more effort to deal damage. The Emboar loosed another Flamethrower, accompanied by the returning Golduck's Water Pulse, Pelipper's Wing Attack, Haunter's Shadow Ball, Jolteon's Pin Missile, Poliwrath's Water Gun, Growlithe's Flame Wheel, and Shiftry's now prepared Razor Wind. They were all attacks that could strike at a distance, aimed at either the Rockets' defending Pokemon or the vehicles themselves.
