[Room A to Room B to H]

Lex looked down at his dex as it chirped that he had a new message and winced at the mess. He frowned, looking at the corpse, and then the symbol. He couldn't put a name to the corpse, the photo was blurred and likely decayed significantly. Still... it was unsettling to be presented with a corpse in his old uniform. His porygon-Z gave upset beeps, hiding behind his head.

"Can't pin point anything about him. And probably should." Lex reached up, stroking the virtual pokemon soothingly and headed towards the hall. He glanced around and nodded.

"Offices tend to have all sorts of things inside them."

Room D - Kailee

"Whoa whoa! Let's, um, please -not- relight the fire in the strange airship unless we have to? We have flashlights... We don't know if anything in here has leaked, or if someone... set some kind of flammable trap," she imagined petrol poured all over the room- that would be -just- their luck "since that went out..." The agent pointed at the firepit.
She used her flashlight to look at the journal and snorted.
"I don't," She couldn't help but disagree, aloud, with what she read, then picked up her 'dex "We found an odd journal. Not much in it. Seems like Tethys wasn't in charge when this was written, though."

When Aulus got up close he took another picture, gagging slightly at the proximity to the body and that wound! He didn't send this picture around but he saved it, just in case the nature of the wound was important later.

'Right.' he managed to reply to Alex's text, stepping back from the dead 'king' or whatever he'd styled himself as and swallowing a bit of bile. Yep, Galactic or no up close and personal this was- he hadn't dealt with s**t like this before and he did not want to ever again. Throat. Torn. Rotting. Ripped.

"We're done here, unless you see anything," Aulus said to Tama, clearing his throat and turning back towards the door. "Let's check the office next." Not the detention rooms. Not yet.

Char nodded to Lex; now he was with other people the fire type felt safe in seeking out his trainer again.

Faleen, Lex, Hayes; Office

The light leaking into the hall was revealed, upon passing through the archway, to be coming from an emergency light near the entryway. It cast a dim glow across the room, leaving menacing shadows in its wake and dissipating into darkened corners. A long counter stood in the middle of the room, the power outlets on the floors implying that at one point there might have been computers lined up on the surface. Now, all that remained was a slip of paper, its contents unreadable from the doorway.

On one side of the room was another door, its label reading RECORDS. On the floor beside it was an assortment of objects including a wastebasket containing a few crumpled tissues and a broken pen, a box of blank printing paper, and an old computer tower with a keyring lying on top of it.

"I didn't find anything besides junk and a not wanting to eat a big meal after this raid is over." He said, giving the corpse one last look over. He shook his head as he headed out of the door after Aulus.

Room D- Tambrey

Why hadnt she thought of that. Oh... because it would be just her luck to burn the whole place to the ground. She pulled some of the medicine. She glanced up at Tambrey's snort. "What?" And then she listened and raised an eyebrow walking back over to look at the page. "Huh... " See journals were a fountain of knowledge. She waved her flashlight around. Kailee looked to the mangled hall. "Should we see if we can get further? Im not sure Even Brimstone can fix that denting?" Brimstone moved and tried but it didnt seem to budge. She looked over desk stuff on the counter. "I think that down that hall, if they werent all smashed.. would be some useful equipment. Maybe there is another way in else where?"She shrugged. "If thats it maybe we should move on." She was all for going... but knowing there was a body found and people were being killed for disobeying... she kinda didnt want to go too much farther in. But she was brave... right?

[Room H with Hayes and Faleen]

The office had lights, emergency glowing lights but it help them see. Though flash lights were kept on and played along the floors and walls. The counter was empty and the power outlets open. He stepped in, Flatline staying close. His crobat was content to wait outside, guarding the doorway. Lex headed to the counter looking over it and spied the piece of paper and reached out to read it. Perhaps it would give some clue as to why there was a dead Galactic in the assembly.

The little paper bore in messy handwriting a short, vague message: watch out for training, vents off just in case

(Room H)

Faleen lingered in the doorway for a time, allowing her eyes to drift around the room with her flashlight. Though they lingered on the door sitting at the other side for a couple longer seconds.

Slowly she stepped in, her Absol shifting in front of her to sniff around cautiously.
She took note of the tower "Take the others but leave the one behind." She noted as she walked over to it, glancing at Lex as he went over to the pater.
She reached up to brush the dust from the tower as well, though her fingers knocked off a keyring.
"Hm?" blinking, the Agent reached down to pick up what she had knocked off.

"Maybe if we had a pokémon small enough... We're not demolitions and that's not the mission anyway. Grab whatever we can easily, not whatever we can excavate over time..." Tambrey mused "Anyway... Uh. Tethys is an acquaintance we've come across before. This seems to suggest she's not present, and hasn't been for... quite a long time," she gestured at the journal "which is probably a very good thing right now. Anyway, let's get back and see where else we can explore..."

[B, looking at E, oh Gods why. Comms to all units]

...Oh.

Okay.

So Faleen, Alex and Lex were heading into the office. That left.... Right. Right. Okay, fine, right. Fine. Right.

Aulus stopped just outside the Assembly, watched Faleen peer into the room he had been going to take and-

Fine. It was fine. Okay. Good. Right. Explore. Probably everything in here was dead like the man on the throne, right? According to Tam it sounded like Tethys hadn't been around lately so... so.... Fine.

Aulus flexed his hands before reaching for his dex again. "Hey Team Nommy, team Neph," he said into it, repressing a bubble of inappropriate laughter for the grouping names he'd just made up. "Tama and I are going to check out... that other door, alright? Keep in touch." Please, please keep in touch.

Swallowing hard Aulus nodded to Tama. "Seen as the Office seems to be covered, Detention is ours." Breathe in, breathe out. Smoothing a hand back over his head Aulus made for the door. "Same as last time," he muttered, words coming out a little quickly. "Keep to the right of the door, don't charge in, and we'll be fine." Maybe.

[Room H, Faleen, Hayes]

"Well this is less then enlightening." Lex muttered, looking over the note. "Watch out for training, vents off just in case." Vents off? He folded the note and put it in the pocket of his coat. "Something is seriously off." He rubbed his arms and drifted over the tower. "Do you have a screen to attached to the tower? Maybe we can get something off it."

[Room A - Room H]

Alphard in his jacket and Binary and Switch at his heels, Hayes shone his flashlight over the signs - CLINIC, ASSEMBLY, SECURITY AND DET-

SECURITY AND DETENTION.

"Pika." Switch sent a light pulse of electricity at his trainer when it was clear the man was just going to stand there staring at the sign.

Prod!

"Hhh!" Hayes jerked, shoulders folding inward; his flashlight clattered to the floor and rolled in a half-circle, its beam running unevenly over the contours of the hall. The blond was still for several moments, breath coming in short, sharp gasps until the present began to fade back in.

Gradually, his breathing slowed.

The elite rubbed a hand over his face and bent to pick up his flashlight; Binary crowded in to nudge at his face. "Pika pi," Switch offered, waddling closer with a look of rodent contrition. "Don't. Don't ever.. do that again," their trainer mumbled, then inhaled deeply. From the corner of his eye, he could see Switch's ears turn down, though it was a moment before he scruffed the Pikachu's fur and straightened up.

He followed the walkway to the door marked OFFICE, and paused. "Coming in," he called, and continued. "Hey. What'd you find?" If the elite sounded a little out of breath, that was just the cold.

[Room B: With Aulus]

Once out of the room, he patted Tiamat's nose for keeping guard as she joined him by his side again. Looking to Aulus, he quirked a brow. "Hey... are you alright? You seem... tense." He asked.

He looked to the other rooms before heading toward the door marked Security and Detention, moving to the right of the door like before.

Faleen, Lex, Hayes

The keyring Faleen lifted was a small one, and had only a few keys on it. The dusty tower, on the other hand, looked rather old, and though it was plugged in, no electricity ran through the room with which to power it on. Even if it could, there were no monitors, keyboards, or mice present in the room to use with it.
