Faleen, Lex, Hayes; Office
The light leaking into the hall was revealed, upon passing through the archway, to be coming from an emergency light near the entryway. It cast a dim glow across the room, leaving menacing shadows in its wake and dissipating into darkened corners. A long counter stood in the middle of the room, the power outlets on the floors implying that at one point there might have been computers lined up on the surface. Now, all that remained was a slip of paper, its contents unreadable from the doorway.
On one side of the room was another door, its label reading RECORDS. On the floor beside it was an assortment of objects including a wastebasket containing a few crumpled tissues and a broken pen, a box of blank printing paper, and an old computer tower with a keyring lying on top of it.

[B, looking at E, oh Gods why. Comms to all units]
...Oh.
Okay.
So Faleen, Alex and Lex were heading into the office. That left.... Right. Right. Okay, fine, right. Fine. Right.
Aulus stopped just outside the Assembly, watched Faleen peer into the room he had been going to take and-
Fine. It was fine. Okay. Good. Right. Explore. Probably everything in here was dead like the man on the throne, right? According to Tam it sounded like Tethys hadn't been around lately so... so.... Fine.
Aulus flexed his hands before reaching for his dex again. "Hey Team Nommy, team Neph," he said into it, repressing a bubble of inappropriate laughter for the grouping names he'd just made up. "Tama and I are going to check out... that other door, alright? Keep in touch." Please, please keep in touch.
Swallowing hard Aulus nodded to Tama. "Seen as the Office seems to be covered, Detention is ours." Breathe in, breathe out. Smoothing a hand back over his head Aulus made for the door. "Same as last time," he muttered, words coming out a little quickly. "Keep to the right of the door, don't charge in, and we'll be fine." Maybe.

[Room A - Room H]
Alphard in his jacket and Binary and Switch at his heels, Hayes shone his flashlight over the signs - CLINIC, ASSEMBLY, SECURITY AND DET-
SECURITY AND DETENTION.
"Pika." Switch sent a light pulse of electricity at his trainer when it was clear the man was just going to stand there staring at the sign.
Prod!
"Hhh!" Hayes jerked, shoulders folding inward; his flashlight clattered to the floor and rolled in a half-circle, its beam running unevenly over the contours of the hall. The blond was still for several moments, breath coming in short, sharp gasps until the present began to fade back in.
Gradually, his breathing slowed.
The elite rubbed a hand over his face and bent to pick up his flashlight; Binary crowded in to nudge at his face. "Pika pi," Switch offered, waddling closer with a look of rodent contrition. "Don't. Don't ever.. do that again," their trainer mumbled, then inhaled deeply. From the corner of his eye, he could see Switch's ears turn down, though it was a moment before he scruffed the Pikachu's fur and straightened up.
He followed the walkway to the door marked OFFICE, and paused. "Coming in," he called, and continued. "Hey. What'd you find?" If the elite sounded a little out of breath, that was just the cold.

Faleen, Lex, Hayes
The keyring Faleen lifted was a small one, and had only a few keys on it. The dusty tower, on the other hand, looked rather old, and though it was plugged in, no electricity ran through the room with which to power it on. Even if it could, there were no monitors, keyboards, or mice present in the room to use with it.
