Red Gypsy
Nora smiled at Razor's answer and then shivered a bit as he tucked his face into her neck to inhale her scent. She was enjoying the feelings she got from being with him like this, but she couldn't shake the nagging feeling that something wasn't quite right. She knew instinctively that everything about Razor was just as it should be. But she had a feeling creeping through her entire body that something about herself was just off somehow. And that feeling got stronger as they got closer to the castle.
She looked up at him for a moment. "I can't shake this feeling that there's something not right about me," she muttered. "It kind of feels like I just don't fit into my skin quite right. It's hard to really describe."
She shifted around a bit with a small frown. "I've always felt it on some level, but I always just attributed that to being an outcast from everyone around me just because I happened to be allergic to silver. It took a long time to get to a point where I could just kind of ignore it. But it's like I'm suddenly super aware of my body now, and I can't get past this feeling that I'm just wrong somehow. It's like an itch that I can't scratch away."
Noah listened to Ginger with a smile as she described how big Griz was and went into detail about how Pops had bred Kana specifically for Griz. He found the whole thing really interesting, wondering just how long it would have taken to get a horse so large with all of the qualities of various types of horses like she was describing. "It definitely sounds like he put a lot of thought and work into it," he said. "And it definitely paid off."
He looked over to the foal that she pointed out and watched him moving as she suggested. "He's just as beautiful as Kana is. I'm sure that you guys are all so excited to see him get fully grown. And I can definitely see why."
He suddenly frowned a bit as the ringing in his ears intensified, finding his attention randomly drawn to various sounds. He looked around a bit with a confused expression. So many sounds were suddenly amplified to a point where they were impossible to ignore, sounds that he really hadn't paid attention to before. It was like he could hear every little thing around himself, and he was getting a bit overwhelmed as his mind tried to focus in on each random sound before being immediately forced to focus on another.
He shook his head a bit and looked back over to Ginger, forcing himself to focus back on her instead. It helped him to tune out the impossibly loud noises around him, but he was really starting to get a headache from it all.
