You know, just once I would've liked to see one of the diaries start with "Dead Diary"

Well, we don't know that they left the diary laying around. I mean, you find Chris' diary on his desk. But what if it was IN his desk, someone searched his desk, took out the diary, then after reading it, left it on the desk, where Claire/Leon eventually found it.

Did anyone but me find it amusing that Chris had a baby blue diary with a little gold lock and a Unicorn Coin underneath it?

Well, at least it wasn't pink with hearts on it. Or cut outs of boy bands.
