Physik shrugged. "You were the one whining about always falling for the girl you can't have. Does this Eris girl even know you're alive?" He turned to face him completely. "I mean if suddenly you got locked up and one thing led to another and you're working for the X-Men, she might be worried or upset." Physik deleted the messages from Warp from his phone quickly and tossed the phone to Dmitri. "Based on past experience, she's going to want to at least hear from you. Give her a call or something. So before you complain about never getting the girl, take a look back at the girls you have gotten. They might not have moved on." Physik turned back to the console.Inventory:

"Look no offense to Eris, she was great-probably still is-but have you ever fallen under Cassie's power fully? I can't think of another girl romantically: it's just wrong. It's unfaithful," Dmitri snapped, catching the phone purely on reflex.
"Besides Eris hates the MRD for good reason, unlike her sister she didn't get her memories erased about what they did to them. It's not often you find identical twins with the same powers to run tests on. What am I supposed to do? Call her up and say, 'Oh, hey Eris, it's me Amp... you know the guy they said the MRD killed guess what I'm still alive and I joined the X-men and I'm madly in love with Warp's sister too.' Yeah, I'm sure that'll fly over well," Dmitri replied rolling his eyes. "Besides, her number has probably changed. And if it hasn't I don't remember it anyways."

Physik sighed loudly. "I don't know, kid. I'm immune to Cassandra's power. But I bet Eris would appreciate just the fact that you're alive. And do you really think Cassandra's power on you will last forever? What happens when it's stopped?" He leaned back, putting his hands behind his head. He didn't believe that Dmitri forgot. Those were probably the words of someone who really didn't want to confront his problems. But if he was saying the truth, Physik had a backup plan.Inventory:

"It was Warp's bright idea to tell everyone I'm dead he can clean up the mess he created," Dmitri replied looking out the window his hands clenching into fists. Considering he could turn Eris's power off it seemed especially cruel to let her know about him now.
"From what I heard Cassie's power is fairly permanent, so I'm stuck with it, right?" Dmitri said quietly.

Physik glanced at Dmitri. You remember what I said when you were first brought into the Mansion?" He leaned back again and closed his eyes. "A single moment of the Lazarus Drug's effects would completely rid her power from you." That was true enough, as the Drug's effects caused the mind to flux constantly, making any ability that affected the mind useless.Inventory:

Dmitri let out a laugh, "My love for Cassie is the only reason I am working with you guys, you realize that right? If Cassie loses her hold on me I'm going back to Genosha. I'll join the Brotherhood again. The only reason I joined you guys was because of Cassie and that my loyalty to her was greater to her than my loyalty to her brother who saved me from the MRD."
"Back in Genosha I saw far more reason to fight against the MRD and humans than to try peace like the X-men propose," Dmitri said bluntly. "Do you really want to get rid of the only thing holding me to this team? I am sure my power is something you don't want turned against you."
He shrugged, "But if you want to erase Cassie's hold on me, which I'm perfectly happy with, and let me go back to Eris or whoever else is in my past or present and future in Genosha and re-sign up for the Brotherhood, that's cool, too."

Felicia frowned and her ears lowered at Dmitri's reaction to her help. She thought he didn't want help from the Brotherhood girl because she was well, Brotherhood.
Then as Dmitri and Sebastian continued talking it was revealed that he has a girlfriend that doesn't know that he's alive. She frowned a bit yet she remembered he was under Cassie's power and still is. But to simply leave her in the dark like that? Then again how do you deliver such a message.
"So, would you rather Eris find out through the news? There's no doubt the media is still reporting what happened in New York earlier. If anything at least tell her before she finds out from the news on the next confrontation with the Brotherhood. Heck there's also the possibility that she may join the Brotherhood to help out and she sees you on the field. What then?"

"Warp's problem not mine," Dmitri said defiantly, "And she won't join the Brotherhood. Her power is more of a danger to herself than anyone else. Not everyone gets a useful power. Anyone who touches Eris-or her twin Erida for that matter- experiences uncontrollable hate towards her. She becomes the most hated thing in your life. Most people aren't above murder when it comes to hate. Thankfully their power wears off in about half an hour but still... wouldn't be very useful to the Brotherhood now would it?"
"Anyways, I mean it probably would suck to see it on the news but would it really be any better to hear it from me? And like I said I don't have her number anymore. And I really doubt she's living at the apartment she lived in before. I guess I could call Blink to get the number, but seriously, what am I supposed to say to her?"

a.k.a. Amp "You want me to call what is essentially Warp's girlfriend?" Dmitri coughed. He looked at the phone and sighed, "Fine I'll text her... Blink at least never changes her number." He quickly sent out a text and a mere minute later was surprised to get the response:
I don't know why you're asking about Eris all of a sudden but I saw her last night. She helped me bake cookies. But, yeah you should probably let her know you switched sides. Since I owe you a couple I'll give you the number. XX-XXX-XXX-XXXDmitri stared at the phone in his hand reading and re-reading the text. It is funny how Blink could understand other people, like the fact he didn't really have to tell him not to try to hurt Eris if he called her, but couldn't understand herself. He glanced up from the phone and said, "Well, Blink sent me the number, but... seriously, what are you supposed to say to someone? I don't have a load on my mind. I am perfectly happy leaving things unresolved with her. Eris is mature enough to handle anything the media throws at her. She doesn't need me calling her up."
Dmitri looked like the typical defiant teenage kid he was, immature and not ready to face reality. Instead he glanced over at Cassie who was still sleeping but every now and again turning fitfully in her sleep. "It'll be awkward to call her. Am I supposed to call everyone up from my old life who thinks I'm dead and give them a formal notice I joined you guys because of some mind control or whatever?"Location: Over the Atlantic Ocean

Physik shrugged. "It's called "the right thing to do" kid. I'm not saying you should call everyone, but just giving a notice to the one's that cared most is in order." He looked away from the others. "Every side has a right thing to do, let alone their principles or beliefs. That's what makes this battle so much of a grey-area. Everyone feels like they now the difference between right and wrong, and no one can prove who's right." His mood soured and he looked at Cassandra. At least she was safe. And a certain bug would be out of Sebastian's hair soon enough.Inventory:

Dmitri stared at Physik and let out a sigh. He was right: Dmitri was being childish. Just because Eris could handle it and just because it was Warp who told her he died in the first place didn't mean he didn't owe her something too. Just ditching a girl because you fell in love with another wasn't that noble. He unbuckled his seat belt and stood. "I'm going to the back. I guess I'll call Eris... She'll figure a way to cope... she always does. I mean she wasn't the twin that chose to get her memories of her time as an MRD experiment erased: that's got to say something about her character."
His grip tightened on the phone and he walked past his seat and paused at Cassie's, he reached out to brush s stray curl from her face but stopped him and let out a sigh. "Arkain?" Dmitri said, his back to him, "Remember the only reason I'm working with you guys and want to be an X-man is the hold she has over me. Her brother saved me from the MRD when I first found out what I was. He taught me. Magneto and Warp took me in. They don't do that for others just because they might be useful. What did the X-men ever do for me?"
He didn't wait for a response and walked into the back cargo hold and slid down behind some boxes and stared at the text and the number given to him from Blink for a full minute before he called.Location: Over the Atlantic Ocean

Physik stopped for a few minutes, thinking deeply. What had the X-Men done. Physik liked to think that they tried their best to help any mutant child they came across to learn who they are and what they're capable of. The helped people just as much. But what role did the X-Men play in Dmitri's life? Little to none. They did accept him as a guest for a day or so, but that was about it. They were certainly planning on keeping him at the mansion as a student. More like a prisoner. whispered a voice in Physik's head. Shut up. Physik told the voice, having no counter to the argument.Inventory:

Felicia listened as the conversation progressed her ears facing Dmitri and Sebastian as they spoke. She began to wonder if she knew Dmitri as well as she thought but seeing him answer what he would do if he wasn't under her hold made her realize he really wouldn't be here if it weren't for Cassie...yet he's happy about being under her hold... this is so confusing.
As Sebastian spoke of the right thing Felicia started to wonder once more, Was saving Cassie the right thing? Especially at the cost of loosing Myth in the process? Was her spending time with her brother really all that bad? Myth was right... we shouldn't have gone after her. Yet... to have simply left her there...
As Dmitri excused himself Felicia approached Sebastian. Softly she spoke, "We did give him a home, a chance to prove himself even if it's under Cassie's hold... Do you think we did the right thing? Rescuing Cassie at the cost of our leader professor?"

Blink glanced over at Warp and as he spent his time sending a text in deep concentration, "You're being rude. We need to focus on the problem at hand."
"There are about eight problems on hand right now for me," He snapped irritated at her. With a sigh he focused and created a forcefield around his ribs where he healed the bruising from Myth's kick. He felt sore. "And power is back up, by the way." As he spoke there was a small buzz and Blink had her phone out and quickly put it away she looked up innocently and said, "What? Amp asked for Eris's old phone number. He used to send nicer break up texts to all my one night stands so I owe him.""At least he's staying away from my sister at the moment," Warp said before going into Latin curses.Blink chose to ignore Warp. She smiled genuinely at Sorcerer and placed a hand on his shoulder and said happily, "Well you're a part of the team, now. Congrats, Sorcerer. We still need you to find a place to stay and all that but you're more or less official now. I'm sure they made you show a passport or something getting off the boat. Or just show off your power... worked for me."
"Actually, you have more of the right idea of what the Brotherhood should be about-protecting Genosha. That's why I didn't join years ago even though someone who can get you to Hong Kong and back with a post card and with all your limbs attached and organs inside you would have been useful," She said with a smile. "Things change though and not only do we have the new MRD head we have a homo-superior killer running around New York who can apparently steal powers."
She crossed her arms and glanced around the apartment, "Shadow Walker, where's Calamity?" She then glanced at Sorcerer and said, "At this rate you seriously might be Warp's replacement or what at least second in command... well, third." She shook her head pulled her pink hair out of its side pony tail and let it just fall down around her shoulders and upper back.
