No thankfully he has not taken over Canada yet. And he certainly won't take over Newfoundland. We're tough and can pound the crap out of that wuss any day.
And I have found the English/Canadian units were actually pretty easy. I mean, 100 degrees Celcius is the boiling point of water and 0C is the freezing point. There's ten millimetres in a centimetre and 100 centimetres in a metre. Where's the problem? We have an even harder time because the universal units are not accepted in the US. They keep using Farenheit and feet. I spent the first year of Medical Science just learning how to convert between these units(in math class anyway) because the States don't use what everyone else does.

Yes, I agree. The metric system is a lot better than the imperial system.
Hey Ukyo, does Canada use the metric system? o.o?

Since Canada is right next to the States, we have to know how to use both. But the Metric system is what we use mostly.

Most countries use the Metric system, and our schools have been trying to switch to the Metric, but most of us are stuck in the old way of the English Government. We're stubborn that way in that we can't let go of our past... sweatdrop

Yeah but Canada and the US are next to each other. You would think there would be something else in common besides we are all members of the human race and live on the same continent... It's like that I am Canadian beer video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRI-A3vakVg
