The sun will die theory I believe...mainly because that won't happen for billions of more years. Therefore, it doesn't worry me that much, because we'll ALL be dead long before the sun decides to go supernova.

I don't put much thought into apocalypse dates, myself. We have a 100% failure rate at predicting the end of the world, so why would this date break the trend? XD I chalk it up as 'the end of the world will come eventually', and leave it at that.
