Aquaria reached out with her magic to try and knock the person back, but didn't have enough power to have much effect. She struggled as she was shoved against the wall and closed her eyes helplessly. She tried to scream for Garin again, but the hand kept her silent.

Garin saw that someone had her pinned against a wall. from the smell of them, it was another vampire. He growled and grabbed the back of the man's shirt, throwing him back from Aquaria.

Aquaria crumpled to the ground and tried to crawl towards Garin. "No, get away!" she screamed to Garin. "He's too strong!"

Garin stood in between Aquaria and the other vampire, growling and baring his teeth.
The vampire had recovered from being thrown and was sizing up Garin. He crouched low.

Aquaria had recovered from the shock and was on her feet, ready to run. "Garin, I'm going to go get Sanvi!" she said, and ran back to the hotel.
"Sanvi! Wake up! Garin's got in a fight, come help!" she yelled.
Sanvi was on her feet in a second and had grabbed Aquaria's hand, pulling her back onto the street. "Where?" she asked, and followed Aquaria to the alley.

The other vampire charged after Sanvi, but Garin intercepted him.
Garin tackled the man to the ground, even as he was scratched on his neck.
Garin bit the other's arm and struck him hard in the face.

Sanvi stood protectively in front of Aquaria even as the vampire charged at her. When Garin got in between, Sanvi ran behind the vampire, trying to distract him so Garin could gain an advantage. "Don't worry about me, just fight!" she called to Garin.

Garin was relying on his instincts mostly, so when Sanvi got close, he perceived her as another threat. He lunged her while the vampire was stunned.

Sanvi sidestepped Garin, but she grabbed his shoulders, holding him away from her. "Garin, go, fight the vampire, not me," she said. She spun him around and released him, sending him towards the stunned vampire.
Aquaria stood, watching as Garin lunged for Sanvi, and screamed as her friend was attacked.

Garin's hand flashed up and her threw Sanvi to the ground.
By that time the other vampire had recovered and went to get Aquaria again. Garin jumped on the other vampire's back, trying to tear his head off.

Sanvi landed hard on her shoulder and skidded backwards to lay still on the ground.
Aquaria saw the vampire go after her and she froze, standing still in fear, watching Garin and Sanvi. She tried to scream but was too scared to.

garin pushed the vampire away from Aquaria and then looked to Sanvi to make sure she wasn't going to get up.
This gave the other vampire an advantage and shot at Garin and he fell with a resounding crack.

This was enough for Aquaria. She quickly remembered herself and drew the dagger Garin had given her. She charged the vampire and tried to slice at him while Garin lay stunned.
A small pool of blood lay around Sanvi's shoulder where she had landed. Her arm moved a little, but she was still unconscious.

Garin grabbed Aquaria's ankle when she went by. There was no way that she could do anything against the vampire.

Aquaria tripped when Garin grabbed her ankle and she fell to the ground, the dagger skidding towards the vampire.
Sanvi regained consciousness and sat up, watching the scene. She desperately wanted to help them out, but she couldn't move from where she sat. She saw the pool of blood and panicked, trying to stop the bleeding before the vampires noticed.
