Yup. I had a lovely surprise when I opened the case. Half my strings are false. I do love summer.... rolleyes Another trip to the shop for me.

False is when the frequency of the strings changes when you press down hard with the bow, and also when they start unraveling by the bridge... stare

I have always wanted to be able to play a musical instrument. My two favorite instruments are piano and violin.

Violin's fun, but it's really temperamental. At least Chi-kun is.
But it sounds great! My favorite piece is La Follia by Francesco Geminiani, second concertino. Second favorite is either La Follia by Corelli, or Symphonie Espagnole by Lalo.

I wrote a story once and the main character could play violin. He has too many bad memories of it though ^_^;
