"Nothing I'll say is going to make you put me down and let me out run you, huh?" Edge gave a defeated sigh, crossing her arms.  

[Zahzi]

"No." Metal Man told her, the HQ in sight now.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Damn it..." Edge groaned, rolling her head back.

"I hate being like this."  

[Zahzi]

By the time they did reach the base, Icarus' countdown was exceeded by exactly four seconds...

"You should have let me run." Edge grunted, finally pushing herself out of Metal Man's arms.

"Now he's gonna growl at me for being late."

Steam however had arrived at the base with plenty of time. Edge should've taken the truck.

He was leading Haley down the hall by her hand towards Hal's office.  

[Zahzi]

Metal Man merely followed.

Hal, was not busy. In fact, he was the OPPOSITE of busy. He was propped up in his chair, taking an impromptu nap..

"Come on," Edge sighed, taking Metal Man's hand again as she was leading him to her father's office.
"Dad can help defend you if Icarus gets pissy about the two of us."  

[Zahzi]

Icarus just gave a groan, sitting down in the Command room.

"....Sir?"

"What?"

"There seems to be someone looking like Edge following her..."

Another groan.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"So, how's it feeling being awake again?" Edge asked as she ducked into an elevator, wanting to reach her father's office quicker than usual.
"Nice, yes?"

"Hey! Old man!" Steam said as he walked into the office. "Wake up. I need you to do something."  

[Zahzi]

Hal was still out like a light..

Steam gave him a good shake. "HEY! WAKE UP!" he yelled as he shook the man.

Hal just began to snore, while dangling in the air.

Steam started shaking him harder, almost hard enough to hurt him. "WAKE UUUUUUUUUUP! wakeupwakeupwakeupwakeupwakeupwakeupwakeup!"
