Malik slapped his hand against his forehead. "Of course I am you foolish boy. And by the way, that was a joke." He stated, smirking and walking over to Jounouchi. He wrapped his arms around Jou's neck and whispered in his ear, "Or do I need to prove that to you again?"

"Heh. Thought so," was Malik's cool reply, as he ran a hand through his own hair and grinned. "I need to finish up my work here. You can feel free to browse, and tell me if you are interested in something. If you keep kissing me like that, I may be tempted to hook you up."

((Haha, it's great, I love it. <3 When would this take place? Before Akenumkanon's rule or after Set's rule? Mmm... mind if I try to fill in some holes? I think it would make more sense to have it after Set's rule, because then it can involve the Sennen Items (they were made during Akenumkanon's rule) and we can also come up with a backstory for how the Rod and Tauk came under the protection of the Ishtar family... perhaps... Set never had children, so there was no heir to the throne, and therefore there was a war between highclass families to see who would seize the empty throne, the Ishtar family winning? So then... Set is dead, Malik's father takes over the throne, and therefore the Sennen Items, but during his reign, how about something happens to show the royal family that the Sennen Items are too dangerous to use as defensive weapons, so they decide to split them up and hide them? The Ishtar family, all males died out except Rishid, take in the Rod and Tauk... I could see Rishid leaving the throne to someone else, not wanting to take Malik's place as Pharoah. (I would assume, since Rishid is older, yet not in line for Pharoah, that he would be Malik's half-brother through their mother, which would mean that she must've been in a relationship with another man. It might be interesting if Malik's father tried to hide this relationship, yet still never treated Rishid as his own son, and therefore refused to give him the rights as next in line for Pharoah) Aaanyway, that would mean that only Rishid, Isis (if she was in this time period), and their mother would be left, so they would go underground to protect the Rod and Tauk, starting the terrible lineage of future Malik's. That would mean that the Puzzle was broken up and hidden in Atem's tomb, the Ring probably hidden in another tomb, but eventually robbed (which would explain how an Egyptian merchant got ahold of it), then the Ankh, Scales, and Eye hidden in Kul Elna with the stone tablet. That way, it would be very difficult to gain the power of all the items together. As for Jounouchi, you know I'm happy with him being Malik's love slave, but I'm also still gonna stick with my little thing about his ka being the greatest servant of Ra, and therefore he is a human form of a minor deity, possibly sent to Earth by Ra to put the Sennen Items somewhere safe? So maybe Jounouchi convinces Rishid somehow to do that after Malik's death? And I'm also thinking that Jounouchi doesn't remember being Ra's servant, so everything he does to serve his god is subconscious. *takes deep breath* Um... besides that, I think the only other thing that needs to be confronted is that another random family took over the throne after Rishid left it behind... and then Egypt's dynasty eventually ended as history says it did.
Oh, and please note, I don't believe that reincarnation exists in the YUU*GI*OU series. I don't mind if you think that, but I can't accept it because everyone says that Yuugi is the reincarnation of Atem, etc., yet Atem couldn't have been reincarnated because he was sealed in the Puzzle. The original form of a soul and the reincarnated soul cannot exist at the same time, which the two Yuugis obviously did. Anyway, I more lean towards the idea that... there's 'intertwined' or 'sibling' souls. Souls created based on previous souls, with some subconscious memories from the essence of the soul they were created from, but not reincarnation. So while it pretty much leads to the same thing as reincarnation, where future versions of souls experience memories or feelings from the past, I still also believe that the past souls were able to go to the afterlife, and remained there even present day without being reincarnated. It's kind of hard to explain but... maybe think of it as "a cloning of a soul?" I guess? XD;; But yeah, just thought you should know that's how I view the whole 'past life' thing, just to make sure there's no confusion. So let's look at it like this: Malik was born in ancient Egypt, perhaps with a different name, some different physical traits, etc., then eventually died. He went to the afterlife, then, thousands of years later, another 'Malik' was created, based off the memories and essence of the first Malik's soul, and he is similar, but not identical, and that is present-day Malik. So they are not the same soul, but almost like twins. Erm... I'm not making any sense... am I...? ~_~;; ))

Yeah, I um... tried to fill in the holes without spoiling too much for you. XD;; Most of what I said is stuff you can learn without knowing the actual plot of the Egypt Arc anyway. Oh, just to warn you though; in case you haven't yet, don't watch the April Fools episode of the Abridged Series. o.o They only had it up for one day, but you can find it on YouTube. Anyway, it's pretty much the final part of the last episode, filled with spoilers and everything. It wasn't really that funny either. I think it was actually just a redubbing of the original dub script for that part, because Joey said a line that I remembered someone complaining about a while back. But yeah, it spoils the last episode, so don't watch it. ^^;;
And yeah... Ka is kind of weird... pretty much, Ka are Duel Monsters living inside the souls of people, based on their hearts. Likewise, there can be good ka and bad ka, and the stronger someone's soul is, the stronger their ka is. Most ka can be extracted from the person without changing them at all (which is how the monsters ended up on stone slabs, and then later cards) but some ka is so powerful it is integrated into the person's actual soul. That's the case for Kisara. Blue Eyes was her ka, but it was pretty much a god ka, and it relied on her powerful soul to subsist in the mortal realm, so if you tried to extract her ka, it would take her soul with it, and therefore kill her. I'm thinking that's the case with Jounouchi. His ka isn't a monster, but a real deity, just like Blue Eyes and the God Cards (God Cards aren't anyone's ka by the way; their power was sealed on stone slabs from the start) that was sent down to the mortal realm. It had to find a fitting soul to subsist on, and ended up finding Jounouchi, so it entered his body and integrated itself with his soul, and they became one being. Jounouchi is unaware of his own ka though, as most people are, and he never summons it. It is also never sealed on a stone slab, so he is able to continue living a normal life, and I assume he dies like a normal person as well.
Anyway, the Pharaoh is considered a god in the eyes of the people, but it really depends on the person who is Pharaoh methinks. Atem's ka is never shown, but he is able to control the power of the gods and such, so it can only be assumed that he has a god-like ka. But I'm sure there have been other Pharaohs who were just normal people who happened to take the throne. And the prince? Well, in the eyes of the people, he would probably also be considered a god, or maybe a "god in training?" XD;; And yeah, I wanted to tie Jounouchi to Rishid somehow, because I luff that couple. =D I could totally see that affecting their future, and causing Jounouchi to realize Rishid isn't Malik. I mean, he had such a connection with them both in the past, it would make sense that thinking Rishid is Malik and Malik is Namu wouldn't sit right with him, even if logically it makes perfect sense.
Anyway, Yami no Malik's relevance I was actually planning on leaving up to you... sort of. XD;; I mean, since Yami no Malik isn't a different soul or anything, he is a real mental disorder and therefore part of Malik, he is pretty much a manifestation of Malik's darker emotions. He is completely, though subconsciously, controlled by Malik, so perhaps he's manifesting as a reaction to being so close to Jounouchi, someone Malik has a past with? Perhaps he is Malik's fear in getting into a real relationship with someone he naturally feels so close to, and therefore Yami no Malik is haunting both of them, trying to stop them from getting closer, and maybe even trying to kill them. Yami no Malik, of course, wouldn't fear them getting into a relationship, but simply enjoy tormenting them, and use the power of them being together to make himself continue to grow. Erm... I dunno... in all honesty, I had a basic plan for Yami no Malik and how he returned in my head when this RP started, but I didn't think to write it down, and now I've long-since forgotten... XD;; I'm just as skeptical about what's going on as you are at this point. *gets shot*

((Nah, I don't think, at least according to this current plot of our's, that Jounouchi's ka could possibly be Red Eyes, because his ka was never extracted and put onto a stone slab, meaning it never would've been made into a Duel Monsters card. I've always pictured Red Eyes being the ka of Kisara's older sister, who looked a lot like Kisara except with dark skin and black hair, like a normal Egyptian, and then of course with Red Eyes. And I imagine her being weaker-minded yet also spunkier than Kisara, and maybe jealous of her sister sometimes. I've never really made up a story with her or anything, but I've had that picture in my head for Red Eye's ka-holder since like eighth grade... XD;; I can imagine her meeting Jounouchi in the past and hitting it off with him, maybe even falling in love with him, but that's about it. And methinks that Jounouchi would feel attached to her, but more like an older brother than being in love with her. Aaaanyway, I also designed Jounouchi's ka in eighth grade. It's a serpent-like dragon, kind of like Osiris, but smaller and with a less-scary face, and then it's gold in color and wrapped in chains. I should redraw it... But anyway, this dragon ka is what is Ra's servant from the heavens, and it fuses itself with Jounouchi's soul. I've always referred to it as "Kasiya," because I was told once that that was an Egyptian name and it is similar to "Katsuya." XD;;
I love any combo of those four too. =D Except at the same time, it's hard to picture Yami no Malik in a relationship. XD;;
Mmm, yeah, Takahashi Sensei's illustration of Malik's disorder is quite immature, but it is a shounen manga...
Sorry, I did have a plan, I really did... D: I just forgot... *sob* Oh, but there is one thing! In the anime only, during the Doma saga, when Yami no Yuugi goes to that place for restless souls to duel Yuugi, you see a glimpse of Yami no Malik there! O: So that means, in at least the anime, he wasn't completely destroyed, but just torn from Malik's body, sent to that place for restless souls... IN AMERICA! So maybe he found a way to get out of there, perhaps from Malik's high wearing off from being a 'good guy,' and giong back into his depressing thoughts, causing a lure for the other Malik to find him again. So maybe now he's trying to take revenge and get control of the body back? Then, as far as Jounouchi's involved, this is something T Chan suggested, he senses the subconscious memories of ancient Egypt, remembers his relationship with the other Jounouchi, and so now is trying to make a repeat of the tragedies of the past, tormenting the lovers who are finally reunited, hoping to destroy Malik's soul in the end and claim his body for himself?
Mmmm... the only thing I can't see is him being in love with Malik... I don't think Yami no Malik could possibly feel love. I could see him *lusting* after Malik, but that's a different story... XD;; I dunno, Yami no Malik is made of Malik's hatred, and love is the opposite of hatred so...
It's funny, everyone seems to make ancient Egypt Jounouchi pale... I've seen plenty of adaptations of other characters, like Honda and Anzu, and they almost always have darker skin and hair, yet Jounouchi is always a pale little blondie in fan adaptations. XD;; ))
