.... I just found out that my brother's best friend, a guy who is practically my other brother, has cancer... The same kind his mother had... We've been watching out for this for six year... How could it have snuck up on us?

Hiraru Sagara .... I just found out that my brother's best friend, a guy who is practically my other brother, has cancer... The same kind his mother had... We've been watching out for this for six year... How could it have snuck up on us? Sometimes that's what happens. There's no surefire way to stop cancer from appearing, but at least since they were watching out for it they caught it in time right?

I don't know... The Doctors took out half his colon last night.... My brother wants to go visit him, and my dad has been working all day to find out where he's staying.

Me too. As much trouble as he gets into, and in turn gets my brother into, He's a great guy. Friendly, warm, a ladies man, he could always make me laugh, and frequently joined my brother in tormenting me... That and... If something bad happens... His kid will never know him. His girlfriend is giving birth this month...

He kind of sounds like a friend of my bro's, and hence is also my friend. He's not a ladies man since he's married and has a child, but every time I see him he always has a hug for me. I know if I suddenly found out he had cancer I would be heartbroken.
Are you sure you should be online like this, or is this the only thing keeping you semi-sane at this time?

... Actually I need to go wash one of my dogs... but... I just need to have my hands busy, otherwise I'll start over thinking... then I'll end up crying. When I say this guy is like my brother I mean it. I've known him since I was 5. I swear if my brother ever gets married this guy is the only choice for his best man.
