Wanna know a bit of Gaia history?
Gaia actually use to have a dating section.
You know that Love building in ZOMG,that was where it was(not in ZOMG mind you,the building itself was the icon for that section) before they closed that part down due to abuse of it. :3

So I was right? it seems like it use to be kinda like a dating network er section, I'm sure many people use to do it though xP
And my friend tells me that it never was -had feelings that it was- xP
Love building? -doesn't pay much attention to zOMG ever since first account was hacked-

Love building? -doesn't pay much attention to zOMG ever since first account was hacked- Yup,but the feature was removed before I got here,which was sometime in August of '04,on my first one and like yours it was also hacked and this was when ZOMG was still pretty new. That one with the LOVE on the top of it. xD

One time,they even had a chat box that was on the header,think it was for a Valentines thing.
They only had a hug and a kiss option for "emotes" one on each side of the dialogue box.
You had to choose who ya wanted to talk to like how we do with the PMs thing on the friend list,or something simliar to it.

My first Halloween here was that legendary Grombie event.
It was just your average forum event,nothing too big.
Buuuuuuuuut you had the ability to 'shoot' someone who was turned into a grombie.
In return,the ones turned into Grombie 'bit' someone and turned them into one of the grombie skins.
I couldn't participate at the time since the computer I was using at the time was a piece of crap that wouldn't load stuff properly.
