Eternal Eyes(Starting; Need someone to take over Annexus)

Zeek looked at Zack "If you do not wish to be here I have arranged away for the both of us to get out of here" he said as he looked down at Zenith.

"No...i don't want to run away again"He looked at Zeek"I will wait....and stay here.Father planned somethign and i will try to find out!"

Qin was keeping a close eye on the southeast. It was past midnight--though she didn't know how far past--and bitter cold, with a needle-sharp wind going against her face. She completely forgot about it all, however, when she noticed a collection of hooded people passing through a tiny pathway.

Not only are they out well past curfew, but a whole group of them? And it looks likes they’re wearing white masks...

She flew just a little lower, below the biting wind, and caught a whiff of them... not human. Immediately, she flew in a U-turn back to the castle.

Annexus watched Arisu leave, and sighed slightly. It was going to be a long evening.

"I need a meeting place for the peace talks. Someplace out of site from this place here."

He pointed to a place on the map. The area where he pointed had a detailed drawing of what appeared to be spiders and a tower or castle just above it.

"All the troops I will recall need to be stationed here. Secrecy is of the utmost importance." He moved his finger to another spot on the map. An area mostly wooded, except dotted with a few caves , not far from the first place he pointed.

"Do you understand?" He said raising an eyebrow. He spoke in a way that meant not only did he want to know if Mamoru understood what he had said, but also what he meant to do.

((Sorry I haven't posted in a few days. I was out of town. I'll post right away so this won't die!))

((Eh...I intended to make a long post, but this is all I could think of...Just a three word reply...Sorry if there isn't enough to reply to...))

Zeek looked back at Zack "Ok then I will stick it out here with you" he said and walked away from the window.

Zenith saw Zeek walk away from the window and headed to leave the castle and town.

"I can't put anyone into danger because i want something!"He reolied"And don't forget i want to be king one day and you have to help me"He laughed loudly"So both of us has to stay alive"

Qin suspended herself in front of one of the high-placed windows along the corridor to the room containing the King. She transformed to her human body, and quickly perched on the window sill in a crouch. Jumping into the hall, she ran to the door and knocked. "Sir, I've come to report." She waited to be given permission to enter.

The King glanced up when he heard the knock at the door.

"Enter." he said

He knew what she had come to report and he went to the bookshelves to retrieve something. He pushed aside several old books until a secret compartment was revealed to be hidden inside the back wall of the books. He slid open the door and removed a small chest from the compartment and placed it on the desk. He turned to hear what Qin had to say.

Qin went inside and saw him place a small chest on his desk. However, she didn't waste time by asking and gave him her report, "Sir, I spotted a small crowd of...an unknown species in the southeast. All were dressed in hooded robes, and appeared to be wearing white masks. Though I don't really think they were masks, but rather their faces. Regardless, they were clearly traveling with purpose, though I don't know what it is exactly," she then gave him the exact coordinates of where she saw them. Looking back at the chest resting on the King's desk, she added, "Were you expecting them, my lord?"

"Expecting them? To some extent, yes. They often pass that way at this time of night, though they are unpredictable at times." said Annexus

He moved his hand over the chest on the desk until he found the latch. He flipped it and the chest popped open. He pulled from the chest a small amulet of some kind. It had intertwinded silver snakes with ruby eyes wrought into the gold of the amulet. Around the outside of the snakes were strange symbols from some forgotten language and at the center of the amulet was a great diamond eye. He handed the amulet to Qin.

"Take Arisu with you to greet them, but be cautious, they can be very dangerous if provoked. However, if you present them with this, they shouldn't give you much trouble. Tell them that I have called for them and escort them here. Move swiftly, this business must be concluded well before dawn."

The King sighed and then looked keenly into Qin's face.

"These next instructions are especially important- Return directly with them to the castle. DO NOT allow them to convince you to stop anywhere else along the way or take any other route than straight here."

((Okay, whatever happens to Qin and Arisu is up to you guys.... I hope thats alright? Feel free to take over these NPCs for now. Can't wait to see what happens! ^.^ ))

"Yes, sir," and with that, Qin took her dismissal and set off to find Arisu. As she walked briskly down the corridors, she looked at the beautiful amulet in her hand. The snakes were the most tantalizing: They were realistic down the detail of the scales, and their blood-red eyes seemed to look at her as if they had actual sight. This amulet is gorgeous, but... how is it so important to them that it'll keep them from attacking us? But then why would they attack us? What are they?

She pondered these and many other things until she got to Arisu's door, and knocked. "Arisu," Qin explained from the other side, "King Annexus has a job for us." She waited for Arisu to open the door.

[[Hee-hee, this is getting exciting!! Is there anything we need to know about these visitors before we take over? Or should we just get creative with little things before we hand them over to you?]]

((Just have fun with it! I'm flexible. Do as you like. The only thing about these creatures is that somehow the amulet is important to them. Whether it is simply a symbol of some old agreement with Annexus, or if it has its own power over them, or something else entirely is up to you guys. Now... *cracks knuckles* I must go back to plotting...))
