Misha pulled up the blinds of the front window to her shop. The building was two-storied, the first floor being the store named "Harmonic's Graftmelding", based on Misha's powers, and what they were mostly used for. The dim sunlight leaking in lit up the large room full of odds and ends. Being one of the shortest stores on the block, not much sun was able to get in, leaving them to electric lighting most of the time. Misha fixed some of the mech parts placed on the shelves, dusting them off and making sure they were balanced correctly. Today would be like most business days, selling small, but incredibly rare parts for prices unseen in most other corporations. Misha lived with her dad in Mecha Main Street, selling very hard to find mech parts. The store was very popular, but very little known. Being a small place in a big city, it was pretty hard to find them. Not to mention other companies tried to lure customers away by telling them lies, such as Misha and her father stealing the parts from other people, or using illegal substances to make them. But still, they managed to make a living.
As Misha flipped the sign on the door to OPEN, the first customer came in. It was a rather average man, who's swoop bike had shut down, and was willing to buy a part to fix it up. Misha rang it up, one X857 Particle Thrust Capacitor, and the man was happily on his way. Today's day might be busy, or it might not, it all depended on how people were doing these days. Should a war begin anytime soon, Harmonic's Graftmelding would have to become a big business corporation in order to keep up with demands. One could only hope.

"Misha, darling! I need you to pick up an x73 Coilgun in the basement! We've got an order from across town, and it needs to be delivered by tomorrow!" Misha's father announced from the second story of the shop. Upstairs, he was working on deliveries on his PC, which seemed to be the only thing he could do with disabled legs. "Alright, sure, father! I'll get it when I finish tightening the spring on this old timer!" Saila shouted up to her father, wrench in hand. An ancient robotic man stood in front of her, bent over so that she could get into the gears in his back. She closed the hatch to his clockwork and patted him on the back. "[Alright, XJ8, you're all set to go. We'll see you again next week. Now, that coilgun..." She waved goodbye to the machine and opened the door to the basement. Instantly the smell of something fleshy that didn't belong in a basement full of parts filled her nose. She scrunched it up and tried to get a whiff on what it was. The smart thing would have been to alert her father while he grabbed his shotgun, but Misha loved nature far too much for that. Instead, she began singing a Hymn to, in theory, calm the beast and draw it out. As her voice rang, a wave of warmth radiated forth from her body, forcing a dim golden light to form within the basement, bright enough to see the creature, but dim enough not to disturb it.

Misha noticed one mass of darkness lumped up in one corner, hanging from various objects. Apparently it didn't want to be disturbed, given that it growled and issued a threat to her. The creature obviously wanted her to leave, but of course she couldn't do that. The dim light began to grow darker as Misha finished her song, but didn't go out entirely. She stared intently at the beast, focused on the details she could hardly see. It appeared to have wrapped itself in some sort of coccoon, or was just wrapped up in its wings. Eaither way, it didn't belong here, but Misha wasn't going to force it to leave. It was nocturnal, and the current time was daylight, so it would have to stay in here for now. Although, it might be a burden for her father, should he discover her.
"Creature, you know I cannot do that, this is my home and you are intruding. I will not ask you to leave, but please do not cause any trouble for me or my father. Should you choose to, I will be put into a position to use force." She said, stepping into the darkness and retrieving the gun, which happened to be on a shelf right next to it. Taking the piece of machinery, she brushed against it slightly, feeling the hairs on its skin. The creature was a Bat demon, so it appeared as she got closer, so it might try to feed on her if she pushed it into a corner or threaten it. Even if it tried, it wouldn't get very much from someone who is part machine. Misha turned around and headed back upstairs into the light. "I hope your stay will be comfortable." She said, shutting the door.

"Ah, welcome to our store! One moment please. Misha said, stepping away from the customer and towards the staircase. Before she reached the top, she placed the gun on the top step. "Father, the Coilgun is at the stairs, can you get it? We have another customer and a guest." She shouted down the hall of the second floor. Once she returned to the front of the shop, she stopped behind the cash register and typed in a few buttons to the holographic screen. "Now, what can I help you with today, sir? We just got in new shipment of XV-25 Stealth Suits. They're perfect for scouting missions, or undercover surveillance. Or, you can request an item of your choice. Here at Harmonic's Graftmelding, we can get nearly anything for low prices." Her smile beamed at the customer, showing that she really was prepared for nearly anything.
