16 looked up and scanned for weaknesses and let his eye scan while he stood. He found that the system was glitchy and he thought of was to use it. He changed his hand into a hilt and he stuck it into his right leg, it whirred while the gears moved and clicked. He then took it back out to reveal a sword crackling with an undetectable energy. "Stop, I will not allow any more violence from you, cease, or be dismantled." 16 said in a rather metallic voice.

Sycte was pulling at her ears. Straining them tightly against her head, pulling them down against the sides of her head and cheeks-well technically up sense she was hanging upside-down. Her ears were oh so sensitive, and the only way she could block out sound which also allowed her to give a high pitched scream some of her kind was known for, was flattening her ears back against the back of her skull. However, she was trying to relax, fall asleep and let her stomach digest the blood she had ate only a few hours ago.

She tried flattening her ears back but every time she would start to relax they’d spring right back up, down, and point right off of her head. She could hear through walls and right now she could hear the ruckus those robots were making. It was quite frankly starting to irritate her. Those things would do more good as a pile of scrap metal then how they were right now.

Misha pulled up the blinds of the front window to her shop. The building was two-storied, the first floor being the store named "Harmonic's Graftmelding", based on Misha's powers, and what they were mostly used for. The dim sunlight leaking in lit up the large room full of odds and ends. Being one of the shortest stores on the block, not much sun was able to get in, leaving them to electric lighting most of the time. Misha fixed some of the mech parts placed on the shelves, dusting them off and making sure they were balanced correctly. Today would be like most business days, selling small, but incredibly rare parts for prices unseen in most other corporations. Misha lived with her dad in Mecha Main Street, selling very hard to find mech parts. The store was very popular, but very little known. Being a small place in a big city, it was pretty hard to find them. Not to mention other companies tried to lure customers away by telling them lies, such as Misha and her father stealing the parts from other people, or using illegal substances to make them. But still, they managed to make a living.

As Misha flipped the sign on the door to OPEN, the first customer came in. It was a rather average man, who's swoop bike had shut down, and was willing to buy a part to fix it up. Misha rang it up, one X857 Particle Thrust Capacitor, and the man was happily on his way. Today's day might be busy, or it might not, it all depended on how people were doing these days. Should a war begin anytime soon, Harmonic's Graftmelding would have to become a big business corporation in order to keep up with demands. One could only hope.

Sycte had a feeling she was going to get little sleep unless she found a vacant building to hide away every day. This day she was starting to fall asleep in the corner of that storage basement then morning came and occupants in the dwelling began to stir. Instinctively one of her ears picked up on the sounds and kept track of them keeping part fo her mind awake and therefore keeping her awake. She growled lightly in frustration in her throat in frustration and dropped to the floor and moved as a ghost through he room heading to the stairs that lead up to the main level. Slowly and quietly she opened the door only a crack for that was enough to flood the basement door with light and bothered her sensitive eyes severely. She only opened it enough to get the scent on creatures that occupied the dwelling. The smell of more metal hit her nose, and grease and other items that told her more parts were on this level floor and so she concluded this was a shop that sold those parts.

She could smell a muse, a little less enticing to go after then human, especially on a full stomach so she simply quietly closed the basement door heading down the stairs and returning to her upside-down perch in the dark corner of the storage basement. The bat demon decided she just wanted to hide out, at least until sun down when she was at more of an advantage if trouble insisted on starting.

"Misha, darling! I need you to pick up an x73 Coilgun in the basement! We've got an order from across town, and it needs to be delivered by tomorrow!" Misha's father announced from the second story of the shop. Upstairs, he was working on deliveries on his PC, which seemed to be the only thing he could do with disabled legs. "Alright, sure, father! I'll get it when I finish tightening the spring on this old timer!" Saila shouted up to her father, wrench in hand. An ancient robotic man stood in front of her, bent over so that she could get into the gears in his back. She closed the hatch to his clockwork and patted him on the back. "[Alright, XJ8, you're all set to go. We'll see you again next week. Now, that coilgun..." She waved goodbye to the machine and opened the door to the basement. Instantly the smell of something fleshy that didn't belong in a basement full of parts filled her nose. She scrunched it up and tried to get a whiff on what it was. The smart thing would have been to alert her father while he grabbed his shotgun, but Misha loved nature far too much for that. Instead, she began singing a Hymn to, in theory, calm the beast and draw it out. As her voice rang, a wave of warmth radiated forth from her body, forcing a dim golden light to form within the basement, bright enough to see the creature, but dim enough not to disturb it.

Sycte’s ears quickly flattened back against her head as she suddenly heard someone enter the basement and start their singing. One thing about being a bat demon with sensitive hearing they could slick their ears back against their head in a way no sound could enter them so they could use that horrid screech when threatened without damaging their ears. She didn’t screech, not yet, she did though give a throaty growl and tightened her wings protectively around her when that muse began to produce light. Her feet shifted as they moved her upside-down hanging body closer to the dark corner she was already in.

“You better just turn around, leave, and forget what you’ve seen,” She muttered not in the mood to ‘take care of’ somebody who had discovered her in the daylight hours. She was looking at Misha through the webbing in her wings though like a one way mirror Misha wouldn’t have been able to look in through that thick wing skin.

Misha noticed one mass of darkness lumped up in one corner, hanging from various objects. Apparently it didn't want to be disturbed, given that it growled and issued a threat to her. The creature obviously wanted her to leave, but of course she couldn't do that. The dim light began to grow darker as Misha finished her song, but didn't go out entirely. She stared intently at the beast, focused on the details she could hardly see. It appeared to have wrapped itself in some sort of coccoon, or was just wrapped up in its wings. Eaither way, it didn't belong here, but Misha wasn't going to force it to leave. It was nocturnal, and the current time was daylight, so it would have to stay in here for now. Although, it might be a burden for her father, should he discover her.

"Creature, you know I cannot do that, this is my home and you are intruding. I will not ask you to leave, but please do not cause any trouble for me or my father. Should you choose to, I will be put into a position to use force." She said, stepping into the darkness and retrieving the gun, which happened to be on a shelf right next to it. Taking the piece of machinery, she brushed against it slightly, feeling the hairs on its skin. The creature was a Bat demon, so it appeared as she got closer, so it might try to feed on her if she pushed it into a corner or threaten it. Even if it tried, it wouldn't get very much from someone who is part machine. Misha turned around and headed back upstairs into the light. "I hope your stay will be comfortable." She said, shutting the door.

Sycte parted her wings enough to peer out from between them she looked at the shut basement door for a long moment before she shook her head and wrapped her wings tightly around her once more. She would never get day walkers. If she found an intruder in her home she would have either chased them out or killed them, but that was done and over and she fell asleep.

Several hours later she woke, not really able to get a full day’s sleep ever sense being separated from her clan. After half an hour of trying to go back to sleep she finally dropped from where she hung from the rafters and simply wrapped her wings around her shoulders to keep warm. As she began to walk around the basement picking up, examining and sniff the, to her, strange mechanical items and parts. It was around early evening. What else did she have to do?

As he continued down the street he found exactly what he was looking for, the shop specializing in hard to find mechanichal parts. He walked over to the door and opened it as the female stepped out of the basement.

"Ah, welcome to our store! One moment please. Misha said, stepping away from the customer and towards the staircase. Before she reached the top, she placed the gun on the top step. "Father, the Coilgun is at the stairs, can you get it? We have another customer and a guest." She shouted down the hall of the second floor. Once she returned to the front of the shop, she stopped behind the cash register and typed in a few buttons to the holographic screen. "Now, what can I help you with today, sir? We just got in new shipment of XV-25 Stealth Suits. They're perfect for scouting missions, or undercover surveillance. Or, you can request an item of your choice. Here at Harmonic's Graftmelding, we can get nearly anything for low prices." Her smile beamed at the customer, showing that she really was prepared for nearly anything.

Syctes ears perked up and one shifted towards the door to the top of the stairs as she momentarily paused from curiously looking over the parts in the basement. She could distinctively hear another person come into the shop and silenced herself. She didn’t need to have anyone else discover where she was hiding out.

"I need as many XVS36 sniper rifles as you have." he said simply as he looked over the products on the shelves.

"All of our XVS36's? You got it! Father!" Misha banged on a pipe beside her with a circular hole carved into the side. "Run engine 24! Access code 7358V6! Subject is XVS36 x284! He wants all of them!" Machines within the house began stirring. From within the basement, several sections of the floor opened, sliding out rotating shelves of guns, which moved past the basement into the floor above, directly into the shop. "You might want to stand back." She said as the floor opened in the same positions as the basement. Rack upon rack of the same gun emerged from the slits in the ground. Misha smiled at the customer once more, ringing up the register. "Your total comes to 673,845.37 Byako Credits. Will that be paper or plastic?" She grinned. Of course it was a joke. The bag part.
