Morgan landed flat on her a** and bit back a curse as the man continued to walk by. Slowly she got up and frowned staring at Amara as she mentioned a Telepath, "you men the woman that was in my head? she isn't here right now is she?" she asked looking about then looking warily at the woman and jumped as the new person ran past, seeming to want a chat with the man. No harm huh? she thought dusting herself off and remembering what the sheep head had told her about spies, "Seems you aren't too wary of spies of you are forcing them to pay for your food" she said having nothing else to do other than follow and listen silently. despite what the woman had said she would not have minded supplying these people with food. The lack of money helped to prevent her room mates from jacking it all for coke or other demented and disgusting substances.

Demios had to admit that hearing Che tell him about another team he had left stung. He supposed it proved a point about him, he never really stuck to a team. He then herd Che's solution "I suppose that is always possible" He said. However, when he herd Che talk about him he frowned "Armand was my best friend in the UNS, he was the only one who seemed to remain friends with me even after I turned on the UNS" He said. He thought back to Armand and everything they had done together. "He seemed like the only family I had" He said. He looked at Che and Amara "When we were separated from everyone after what happened in the Himalaya's we traveled around on our own for a while, it was how we met Aeon" He said. He then looked away as he recalled the worse part "We never told anyone, but we came across an Amish village and were taken in by a seemingly nice couple, but they turned out to be Owl hunters" He said. He paused shivering as he continued "Things got bad and they were about to kill Armand and I lost it, I used my powers to obliterate the entire village and miles outside of it, Armand was the only person to survive, he was unharmed...he helped me, he showed me I wasn't a monster, he stayed my friend...my family" He said.

He then continued "While we were in New York.....after he died I lost it again and had I not been shot....I might've destroyed the entire city and everyone in it....enemies, friends, all of you I was ready to kill everyone" He said. He couldn't bring himself to looked at Amara or Che "You asked what does Armand have to do with anything....I think he was the only thing helping me maintain control" he said. He finally looked at Amara and Che again "Every time I close my eyes I can see him dying, and...and..." He couldn't continue but his hands glowed and the bush around them began to die before he realized what he was doing and stopped. He then frowned "I don't think I can handle this anymore" He said. He looked at Che with a look like a child asking a father for guidance. He had to admit in all his life Che and Dante were the closest he had ever had and Dante was gone now.

Amara looked at Morgan and smiled. No she's not just me. I don't want to be rude and continue to speak over Demios and Che so me and you can have a converesation mentally. Just think of what you want to say and I'll here it and vice versa Amara had projected. So are you from around here and aren't you afraid of us? I mean most people either are terrified or genuinely hate us she explained to the human. She was trying to be as nice as possible to the young girl, well the girl was about the same age as she but Amara always tended to feel older than what she was.

Morgan blinked as her mind was raided by thoughts again and she clutched her head momentarily, that is kind of scary i do have to admit she replied after a moment and looked back at the boy that had nearly started crying, what is wrong with him, did he lose his dog or something? she asked resisting the sudden urge to hug the poor guy, Im not sure what it is, but i have never really fit in with society, and the way i see it with the news and all, i see a bunch of politicians trying to rally a bunch of stupid people to fight against some defenseless threat to make more money really she said nonchalantly as she stuffed her hands in her pockets to listen more about these people, Is it true you guys destroyed New York?

Bailey listened silently as everyone gave their input on the fact that the two teams would be joining together. She had no problem with it. In fact, the more people they had, the better chance there would be to defeat the Heralds and TFP. Her eyebrows lowered themselves as a frown came over her face in regards to what Noel said. This caused Bailey, who had been quiet the entire time, to speak up. "Excuse me, but who says the artifacts have to be weapons? I mean if you think about it, most of the Heralds possess artifacts that aren't exactly weapons. So really we shouldn't only limit the artifacts to only those that are skilled in weaponry. The artifacts could be something simple like a pair of earrings, or even a pair of gauntlets. Those are just two examples. They don't have to be a weapon." After she spoke, she fell back into her silence once again.
PostPosted: Thu Jun 16, 2011 10:24 pm

"That's the thing. You see, they might not be weapons. They might be weapons. I don't know and neither do any of you. I don't think. We have to search for them. When we find them, we'll have Demios enchant them with forbidden Herald....mumbo jumbo. Just think of it as hacking or encryption. You kids should understand that." replied Thomas. Bailey's concern was a good one. The man of death just hoped that now getting her hands dirty wouldn't bother them. There may be some digging, climbing or swimming involved in the excavation of these artifacts. "Now, this brings me to my next point. Please and I repeat...please...don't fight over who gets which one. As you well know, if you kill a Herald, you become that Herald and take on it's powers and responsibilities. We will not pick. Whoever finds it keeps it alright?"

Amara could hear Demios and see how he was feeling. She turned around and continued to walk. When Morgan finished speaking Amara smirked a little. He lost a friend....when we were kids, me and Demios had like mentor, Armand, he died just recently and Demios is having a hard time dealing with it she projected. You know you're taking this telepathy really well. I never thought I'd be talking like this with a homio-sapien and them not freak. But sorry, no that wasn't us. There are a group of OWLs who are more extreme in their beliefs, they believe they are better than your species. she said.

But anyways they destroyed New York, we only went there to try to clean it up and get the fallen phoenix out of New York and hopefully for humans to come back in and savage some sort of life she said.

A bit of time had passed since Soliel had joined Lorna in the shower. After they had gotten done getting cleaned up and er...doing other things, they migrated towards the bedroom and the bed to continue what they had started in the shower. After quite some time, both of them were drenched in sweat, but Lorna was pleasantly satisfied by what had just transpired between them. Lorna was not exactly innocent, but Soliel was the first man who had ever made her knees quake the entire time and her entire body tremble with desire. The two of them lay with the sheets pulled over them. Lorna rested her head upon Soliel's chest. After a few minutes of silence, Lorna looked up at Soliel and smiled lightly. "You know you're the first guy who has ever made me quiver this much," she said meaning it as a compliment. She brushed some hair out of her eyes and continued smiling up at him. She could have spoken words of love to him, but even though she was attracted to him and she did like him, and care for him, she didn't know if she loved him. Maybe she did in a sense, but it was rather hard for her to tell.

Soliel lay in the soft comfort of both the intact hotel bed and Lorna's warm, yet somewhat damp embrace. His mind was not in the same place as her's. It was rather far from it...he could tell that the girl like him in more ways that just physically. The Molten Owl held back a grimace. The last thing he wanted to do was string along someone like this. Looking down at her with a grin now, he ran a finger along to curvature of her chin to her neck, then down to her hand. Soliel could see now that in the future, he'd have to reciprocate the girl's feelings someway, somehow. Reluctantly, he hoped that sex would be the only thing that was needed.

"Both my pleasure and yours Lorna. More than happy to be of service to you," returned Soliel in a suave tone. He found his fingers curling intricate designs with the girl's hair...idle motions that meant nothing. Thanks to his trouble life, Soliel knew he'd find it difficult to not become attracted to this girl. His eyes drifted down to her and he forced a smile through his lips. Placing an arm beneath her to bring her closer, he ventured softly, "So, what's on your mind now? Hopefully not sleep."

Lorna closed her eyes practically purring under Soliel's touch. When she opened her eyes again, she found him staring down at her and smiling, but it seemed rather forced. Lorna tilted her head. She didn't want to come off as nosy. It was one of her biggest flaws. Any time she sensed that one of her friends was troubled, she often went out of her way to find out what was wrong and that often made them annoyed at her. Lorna traced the contours of the muscles on Soliel's chest before she spoke. "I know it's probably not my place to ask, but is anything troubling you? You seem to have something on your mind. Sorry if I seem a bit nosy. Sometimes my curiosity and concern get the better of me. If you don't want to tell me, I won't be upset. I know we all have personal thoughts that we don't want to share. But you do know that I'm here for you if you want to talk, like I said before." Realizing she was rambling, she laughed softly. "THere I go again, allowing my mouth to run away with me." She shifted her body and rolled over onto her stomach in a way that would still allow her to look at him and rest her head on his chest. Her hair, which came to the middle of her back in straight layered tresses hung over her shoulders.

Lorna's questions dug into Soliel like a jagged, rusted knife and her pressing the issue only twisted the blade. Still, supressing the urge to evade, he forced a few responses. "You're not being intrusive or anything," Soliel replied, "Unfortunately, these thoughts are private...I cannot share them with you. If I do, I may have to kill you." The mottled blonde brought his his thumb to the tip of Lorna's nose to suggest that he was simply joking. As much he did like the girl, he didn't know himself if his joke was actually a promise. The last thing he wanted to do was harm any of the people he was working with now, but he also didn't want them to obstruct the path between him and his floating fortress Exire. "In all seriousness Lorna, there are somethings I need to decide upon before...before I can move on with myself," the owl lightly mused towards the end, "I'm sure I can get through them with someone like you by my side though..."

((TFP---Raven--Short e.e))

Raven managed a smile to Nova when he made an appearance. She nodded her head at his words “I am fine Nova, nothing a bit of rest wont heal.” She replied confidently, though on the inside she knew she had little to no time for rest. Things were starting to move…and she needed to keep ahead of the game to keep hold of her current position. She glanced uncaringly up at Timothy. “Are we done talking? Or do you have something else you wish to discuss? If not, I wish to tend to my team and see to it that all are accounted for and are treated for their injuries.” If he had something to say, now was the time to say it. Otherwise, Raven was going to walk away regardless of his reaction.

((UNS---Daryle))

The sudden build and decline of tension in the old house was rather dizzying. The immense aura radiating from none less then the Satan Owl only left Daryle worried for those gathered. He seemed to have reframed from doing any actual harm…besides zapping Daryle with a nasty bolt of electricity which had left a nice scorch mark on Daryles shoulder. Nothing that wont heal in time and the Breezy Owl probably deserved it. “Still…it hurt.” Thankfully the meeting went on as planned. Daryle actually listened in silence nodding in agreement to certain parts while frowning at other times. It seemed Demios had left due to emotion problems…leaving the young and naïve Japanese kid alone in a room full of strange people. So, Daryle took it upon himself to keep the kid close. What with two teams that usually fought in one single room…who knows when a fight might break out.

“Aha, finders keepers eh? I am sure everyone can understand what that means. After all, the last thing we need is people tearing the throats out of fellow team-mates over a object…. And I am sure the Heralds and Fallen Phoenix’s will be able to pick up on tension and jealousy if we fail to play nicely together.” Daryle spoke out while scratching the back of his head. The Breezy Owl in himself, was not bothered if he found an artefact or not…He already had his life planned, and becoming a Herald was not on his list. But, Whatever happens, happens. He would simply breeze through it regardless.

Kojiro shook his head,"...Raven...Aaliyah was....killed in that battle" he mumbled in a shaky voice, even going so far as to uttering it made him weak, and his heart sank again, He began walking towards, no longer fearing any kind of attack, he did not intend on causing any more trouble for Raven. So he would avoid any rash actions, He stopped by Timothy and looked at Raven with fear and anxiety, "I can't afford to wait any longer....they could be badly hurt" Nat was one of Kojiro's closest family members, he would not just wait and let anymore time pass, he became more anxious as he realized Ana was missing as well, some relief returned to him as Nova appeared, however he still had his priorities. He turned towards Timothy once again, bearing in mind they were supposed to be allies, "Excuse..me..." he mumbled quietly, as he bowed lightly, as he got back up he looked up into his eyes, Kojiro would never forgive the Herald if it was a trap, he turned towards the exit and began heading away, his body had been ripped up inside and out, however he knew what he was doing and for what for, he would not let his injuries keep him from finding his brother. He coughed again into his hand and looked at it,quickly hiding it and then putting it in his pocket.

Lucien chuckled a little at Bailey's remark. He didn't find it dumb or inane he simply liked how she worded it. "You're right the artifacts may not be weapons we don't honestly know." He looked up at everyone, Lomoli's comment earlier was understandable, like the rest of them Lomoli didn't really like Lucien so he understood his feelings of discern. "I'm impressed Thomas, i never thought you would divulge such sensitive information. You must really want this to work out. That's rather scary." He added with a smile. He looks towards the others and said. "Oh yes, try not to kill eachother trying to replace the Heralds, that'd be rather awkward if we turned on eachother." As he finished his statement he ran his fingers through his hair, he thought about how Roulin, Will, Noel, Che, himself and Thomas were safe from that at least, they were already members of the Great Four he doubted that they could replace heralds. "So Moli, does it both you that we're going to be executing the other heralds?"
