2nd post: Sounds like that was fun =P Naw,can't blame ya. xD ~was that way before too at one point~ It was,people who could play had a bit of fun. xD That is,when servers didn't crash when there was too many folks on. (They didn't have as much servers as they do now,mind you,so sushi errors were quite the norm)

The layout was pretty clunky and stuff and your avi was big enough to see on screen.
Plus when Lanzer and them made gaia,it was called go-gaia and it was a fansite for Ragnarok. :3

The year before I joined(which was when gaia was brand new),there was this girl who faked having cancer and everyone fell for it,at first.
They made her paper cranes and gave her a whole lotta items,which were very cheap compared to now,to cheer her up.
Someone found out she was faking her cancer after she was being her true self(which was a total b***h) and ratted her out and boy....people were hell bent on making her pay for playing on their feelings like she did.
They say that she was the very first person to get permabanned and the very first scammer on this site.
Think her friend who was helping her with this scam was also perma'd.
They made a video of this incident on Newgrounds,though the users who made it are no longer part of the gaia community.

Big time,when I first heard about her,it was a year or two after that had happened.
To this day,her profile is still spammed with hate messages.
I seen it too,I checked out her profile once in a while and there were fairly new hate messages,even though she can't see em because,well she was banned.xD
