Makes me wonder how many other people have seen the post and thought the same thing but didn't make any comments sharing their thoughts.
Oooohhh... this is so much fun.

I'm not really participating in the event but I thought it would be fun to answer it using my novel I'm working on.
Questionnaire for NaNoWriMo
Working Title: Moonshimmer
Genre: Fantasy / Adventure / Young Adult (?)
Projected Word Count: I'm only half way through the first draft and I'm at about 90,000 words. So, by the time I finished it and go back through to add more details, it very well could easily become 200,000 words long.
AT THE START DO YOU:
Have an outline? Nothing specifically written or drawn out, no. Just key points that I know I want to happen that have existed in my mind for some time.
Scene-by-scene? As in outline format? Definitely not. The events just happen as they come to me.
Know how it starts? Yep. I already have that aspect taken care of.
Know how it ends? For the most part, yeah.
Have your climax in order? I probably still have do some editing with the scene(s) I wrote... but for the most part, yeah.
Have your main characters yet? Yeah, they've existed long before I started writing the novel.
Plan to draw on your experiences? For some things, yes.
IS YOUR WORK GOING TO BE:
Funny? Some people might find a few things funny, maybe.
Serious? Yeah.
Sad? There's some aspects of the story that could easily draw some tears.
Semi-Autobiographical? No.
Based on another story? Based on? No. Inspired? Yes.
HOW MUCH HAVE YOU PLANNED? HAVE YOU USED:
A paper journal? Pieces of paper, yes. But not an actual journal.
A computer? Yes.
Index cards? No.
Bulleted lists? Occasionally when I know there's certain things I want to cover within a sequence of moments.
Plot Charts? No, because it's when and how the character wants to tell me her story. And I never know where some of these moments will take place in the story until I get to the part I think it would fit best at.
Character Charts? Not really.
Character formulas? No.
Favorite writing resource? Other books, Google.... and wherever else I find inspiration from.
AND ENDS:
A line you would like to use: I have none at this time.
A scene you would like to include: A moment where my main character and my werewolf pack leader character say their farewells to each other and the main character realizes that he's the werewolf she encountered the night before.
A concept you would like to explore: Hmm... I'm sure there's quite a few things.
A cliché you would like avoid: That the main character comes off as a pathetic girl... which I definitely can tell you, she's not.
A character you would like to use: Most of the characters I've created are vital to the story, so...
FORWARD THING:
Do you expect to be able to complete it? Oh, I definitely will finish this novel. It may take a long time for me to finish the first draft, but this is my dream novel. Once I feel confident with the outcome of the novel, I'll start working on another novel that will be part of the series.
[Do you intend to complete it? See above.
Would you ever try to publish it? It would be a dream come true if I got it published.
What do you expect to get out this month of frantic writing? Satisfaction that I wrote such a long piece of literature... and if it was published, I would be fulfilling a life long dream of mine.

I should check out Stephen Fry's QI show. It seems like a pretty good game show and it would be fun to play along, hehe.

Sounds like my Mom is home. So I'm going to go ahead and log off. With that being said, later. And I'll talk to you tomorrow afternoon, most likely.#f51379 #a51cba

I had a fun time going to the Cosmic Bowling night. About half of the people who attended had dressed up ((most had come to the bowling alley after class)). I spent the time playing with Alex and his group of friends. Despite it being a long time since I last bowled, I did fairly well.

And when Alex and I started heading to our cars, he asked me if I wanted to be his girlfriend. I think the question was brought up after one of his friends was teasing about how bad he was doing at bowling when he goes bowling fairly often. He was joking that Alex was trying not to do as well because he had his "girlfriend" around. *laughs* It was pretty funny to watch the interaction going on. Anyway! I said "yes" to his question.
I think I'll wait a bit longer before making it official on Facebook... but at least I know where we stand now. :)

Although it seems fairly quick to make the transition from dating to the relationship state, I think I've had enough time to think over how I feel about Alex. I've had the entire time since April to ponder my feelings about him... and after the brief moments we've spent together, I feel comfortable and happy with him. Plus it helps that there's a lot of qualities of his that are what I've been looking for. And I'm finding through our conversations that we're a lot more compatible than I ever imagined.
A dream come true? It might be a bit early to state so... but I don't think it wouldn't be too far off.

I had another day of cat volunteering today. So many new kittens at the cattery! *squeals* They were so darn adorable! I met a lot of new faces and said hello to some familiar ones. And I got to meet one of the cats that caught my attention from my mentor training - Dipstick, a lovely 11 year old feline who is mostly white except for his black tail. Both Thumper (one of the other cats in the colony) and Dipstick enjoyed snuggling up to me and getting attention. I may have to go back and visit with them again, because I enjoyed the loving they were giving me.
