Rahvine tilted her head looking at both Hideki and Jerry. "Yes, back up is smarter. Why do you think Zero and I Hunted as a team? But Jerry, it does seem like there's something you aren't saying."

Rahvine grabbed Hideki's wrist using her vampire strength to keep Hideki's hand immoble. "Hideki, give me the scalpel."

After a moment Rahvine let go of Hideki's wrist and scooped up the knife. "I see." said Rahvine looking at Jerry. "Well now that he knows Hideki is here we'll either have to leave as soon as we can or be on guard even more."

Rahvine rubbed at her tattoo uncomfortably. "Hideki it's more than that. What's so bad about letting the rest of us help you? Wouldn't you feel the same about wanting to help if it was one of us?"
