Well, the first one about how he started rocked, but I kind of felt depressed at the one describing the post-Jinchuu era. It isn't the ending the original author gave him, as Kenshin overcame his tending to take things personally thanks to the help of his friends. That OAV kind of spoiled my enjoyment of it a bit, since it isn't what Watsuki did.

No wonder razz You want to watch the DVDs - there's a lot you won't enjoy with CN's edits smile

No wonder what? xd
Well...the difficulty there is that the DVDs are a bit pricey...and there isn't anywhere to rent them, really, soooo.... ninja

You've seen only half of Kenshin if you watch the CN one, that's all smile
And that's no excuse, as I've always found ways of getting things cheap. That's what the internet's for, after all - and not all places do cards only.

Even at half price (and a serious risk of boots), the entire series is still a pretty penny... gonk
'Sides, I'd rather complete my Tenchi collection before I begin branching out... xd

You don't have to get it all at once, you know - my greatest delight was getting the OAV, Universe and Magic Project S all on DVD in EBay, in their original boxes, for far less than they'd have cost me full-price. Besides, there are some superb bargains out there, so there really is no excuse for not trying to get to see them as they were meant to be seen smile

Some of us don't even have that amount of discretionary funds, after paying our bills and such... emo
*Checks* Even the BOOT is $80! gonk
...and I've been shopping E-bay for a long, looong time - I know what's out there, and how to get it - it's simply beyond my means at the moment.
