i was babysitting till 2, last night, in a place where i had serious internet. as i sat bored, knowing no one but myself was on, i got looking around... i found a game called Second life, which i was curious if any of you knew anything about, and i had a thought.

And I'm back! I just had a trip around Quidi Vidi so it was fun ^_^ Very nice place. The roads are so narrow.

It's good you get meds for it. I know I hated it when I got an ear infection. And to make matters worse it was on Christmas Eve and I had to go to the hospital to get it checked out.

guys, the reason i brought up second life, is because there are already a bunch of sucessfuly made, popular, roleplays going on in there, with entire city settings made to us as the settings. i think if i do it right, i could maybe, either turn Angel's eclipse, or turn a roleplay of my own design, into digital reality. anything, from locations, to characters.

ok, theres a online game, called Second Life, and basically, its the worlds largest Sandbox game. i think. anyway, its huge. the world map is always expanding.
anywho, second life is a 3-D game, a free one, where you join, make your character, etc, etc, yada yada yada, but what sets it apart from most others is that once you join, what you do is up to you. almost everything in the game was created by players, from the clothes, items, and animations, to the very ground you walk(or dont) on.
as it stands, the largest cohesive areas are still areas made by the games creators, but the majority of the game is made up of player owned squares of ground, which you can freely buy or sell with either real, or game money, (which i think you can also freely switch back and forth, exchanging real money for game, and visaversa, (though, again, may be wrong.)) and then make to your own specifications, changing everything you want.
oooh, gotta go for a bit, ill be back.
anywho, synopsis, i can make a roleplaying world in full 3d.

would appear i was wrong about having to leave.
anywho, almost anything we can roleplay here, a person can make happen in second life. hell, i flew around most of the time i was in there... until i teleported into the city where all the roleplaying goes on... and got mauled by a werewolf... turns out, its possible to disable people's ability to fly on the... well... fly. anywho, i was fine, but still, its a cool place.
