Meta_Fish Kathulu93 TtheHero As fun as it is listening to m VG tunes here as I type, it would be a hoot to listen to them on the go.
But gettign an iPod would mean I'd need iTunes, right?
You can't put music on otherwise? You need itunes for ipods. BUT YOU CAN ONLY SYNC TO ONE COMP, VERY GHEY. Just get a mega MP3, probably better if you dont want videos or games and sich. There ARE mp3 players that play videos, you know. And we're in the Nintendo Cult. Does anyone here not have a Game Boy or DS? I mean, come on. You know, I did have this cartridge someone from college gave me.
Fits into the GBA, and uses an SD card.
Thing is it can't play ROMS over a certian file size, like 128kb or somehting, so Mother 3 was outta the question.
Most I could paly was Ducktales, and Bomberman 2, and Kid Icarus...
Then there's the music playback. the music had to be converted into a certain filetype. But the sound came out... odd. Total ear-rape.
interesting on the whole, but... complicated.
Maybe I'll try and invest in a good ol Flash Cart.

Why iPods suck: - You have to use iTunes (or winamp) - You can't just add one or two songs at a time; you have to sync your iTunes library to your iPod - IT'S GONNA BREAK IN ABOUT 18 MONTHS - They are way ******** overpriced - No expandable memory! (You can expand the memory of Sandisks with microSD cards) - You'll just be a sheep (baa!) - There are other reasons but my brain is pretty mushy right now so, yeah...

And what with the software AND the games being region-locked, we'll be in for a LONG wait.
I know Japan is ahead of us in terms of all the tech, but REALLY!
...Still wanna visit though.

Well, thats only if you're really ******** stupid. You can manually add songs to your iPod, by selecting "sync iPod manually" so you can add 1 at a time. Yeah, theres no expandable memory, but the 80GB iPod video is only like $160 now, which is a really good deal, and about all the songs you'll ever need. Yes, it does make you a sheep. EDIT: And I've had my iPod since the release of the iPod mini, which was like, when I was in grade 6, so four years ago, and it just has a dent in it, works perfectly. Only really stupid people actually break it. Sawrie Lucas, had to point these out.

- You have to use iTunes (or winamp) This is bad how? - You can't just add one or two songs at a time; you have to sync your iTunes library to your iPod My sister doesn't have to, don't know how because I find syncing my library easier. - They are way ******** overpriced Mine cost a tiny bit more than my first mp3 player. First mp3 player had 250 MB. My iPod has 80 gigs. - No expandable memory! (You can expand the memory of Sandisks with microSD cards) No need. 80 ******** GIGABYTES, MAN. And you can get them with MORE.
