Just a whole can of pears. I couldn't work up the appetite for anything larger or heavier than that.... ^^;

Fair enough my friend. Fair enough...v.v
Besides, I don't see anyone eating tootsie rolls anymore. Unless they like, get free ones from a Fair.

Well, maybe small children still get them. Children do have a different sense of taste than adults, but even so... they're usually kind of hard to eat and the chocolate flavor isn't very good. Ah, well. 'S all good. ^^

Right. Who needs chocolate anyways? What I want to taste is the blood of my enemies! D<

@Ryo: Oh, that reminds me... my favorite sporker just got to the part where I can enjoy witnessing a character I hate spew out huge amounts of blood. I take terrible satisfaction in that. XD
@Zorc: ...You don't know real chocolate. gonk

That's the name for what they do, at least. XD Basically, going line-by-line through stories and pointing out all the flaws, problems, unfortunate implications and general bad writing associated with the document. They count these times.
It's very educational, actually. o wo The sort of thing I think most writers should look at once or twice, at least, to help improve their ideas and ability for analyzing their own writing.

Well, some things are sure to be revealed through the numbers. But like you just said, that's a looooot of work for every writer to do.

You don't need to spork your own material, but it does help with critically analyzing your own writing.
For example, if you have a count that's above a hundred for racist comments against a particular group, you might want to seriously consider whether or not that's something you really want to have in your book. Also, it's usually really, REALLY funny. Except when it's seriously disturbing. o_O I mean, some of the things that authors have put into writing... when you actually think about them... yeaaaah. I can give you a link, if you'd like.
@Zorc: Infra-red, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet, Ultra-Violet, and the Color out of Space. ^^ Skittles! Fhtagn the rainbow, taste the rainbow.
