Rahvine made her fingers relax their grip on Aura's fur as she began petting her again. She watched Kyra out of the corner of her eye. She probably never thought about the fact that people's motives might not be what they seem on the surface. It's a hard lesson, but as dangerous as things are of late it's not one that someone should fail to learn.

((Blue told Brandon that she doesn't date, and left him in the ER and came out to where Rahvine, Kyra, and Aura are. Rahvine and Kyra are in the infirmary talking, Aura just woke up from a nap.))

Rahvine shook her head, smiling slightly as she listened to Kyra and Aura. At least they're getting along. I don't want to have to start pulling people apart until I have to. thought Rahvine taking out her box of blood tablets and popping one into her mouth.

"That's right." said Rahvine nodding. "The blood tablets act like a substitute for the blood I would have to drink otherwise. The vampires where I'm from developed them so that they wouldn't have to feed on humans. It's not quite as filling as real blood but it works."
