When the explosion went off outside the academy, Hiro snarled. The shockwave did almost nothing to him, it was as if it just came and went. Hiro went to get a good look at the woman who had began speaking. He had seen this woman a few times around the village. "Do you mind telling me what gives you the authority to test the students like this? They aren't even Genin yet." He placed his hand on the hilt of his bokun, a simple yet very effective and replaceable wooden sword. Through his covered left eye, his sharingan began studying the woman, he sniffed the air to find a peculiar scent... a scent he knew only too well. "Clay, huh?" He said before smirking.

Mimi was moving like lighting across the class room to push the two students to the ground as the shockwave of the blasts outside shook the room and shrapnels hammered the walls of the building. "Keep your heads down and stay out of the way." She said calmly as she pulled them under the same desk.

Evelyn tipped her cap in greetings to the man who had just entered. She had seen his face a few times, but nothing rang a bell. Now just where have I seen him before... Hmm, how peculiar... Moments after the man had shown himself and Mimi handed her duties over to the stranger, a terribly powerful explosion rocked the building, sending poor Evelyn to the floor. The blonde had no time to react, and in response to the jarring episode, covered her head with both hands, and brought her knees as close to her chest as possible. Not more than ten seconds passed when Evelyn found herself being dragged under a nearby desk by the teacher, Mimi. "Teacher, what's going on?!" The youngest Faye attempted to communicate with her sensei, but over the roar of the explosions, she couldn't even hear her own words as they left her lips. A terrible realization dawned on her. "... I-is this the end? Are we going to die?"
Without even waiting for a visual confirmation to her question, Evelyn brought her hands to the sides of her head and pulled down her cap over her eyes. She began to tear up, not wanting the teacher to see her distress. For someone who had never witnessed combat, the youngest Faye was clueless on how to react.

(Well, I'm kinda skipping Shoko a little, but I'll help protect you guys a bit.)

He decided now -- and perhaps no other moment -- was the perfect time to gain the leader's trust, however much he would abuse it once gained. Dispelling his bloody sphere and rolling over to the teacher and her students -- under the table -- he created a similar shield there, cramping himselves in with them, though they were now protected from much -- perhaps even all harm. "Stay here, and do not move from here. You are safe now, but no longer will you be defended if you are to leave. I... may go to fight. For your safety, and for mine." As much as he enjoyed the thrill of death and destruction, he needed this trust if he was going to gain the throne. Now was not the time to act upon desire; but upon opportunty.

"These are some weak Gennin geesh." Shoko looks around at the place and no one seems to be responding to her directly. One man seems to have spoken to her which is a nice change to the usual cowering in fear and all that non-sense. Perhaps Shoko misinterpreted the power here and instead stumbled upon a huge group of academy students. Barely even able to be called anything higher than a mere civilian at that time of their lives. Shoko would feel the shame of such an accident if she knew.

In response to the man all her suspicions came true. With a deep sigh she looks around very dissatisfied indeed. This village needs some action, the students need to learn to defend themselves and quickly, dangerous times are on the horizon and this village is very poorly prepared. "MAN UP THERE," Shoko says loudly with some authority. "I am a Densetsu and ANBU of this village." Her mask still on hiding her identity is important at this point. "I would like to see your abilities, and perhaps then if these students cannot defend themselves then we shall provide them a training exercise show if you will." She of course means to start a spar with this man and test his power. The Anbu forces as far as Shoko can see in this village are nothing to spectacular and her goal is to revive anbu to its former glory. She needs the special members of this village that have true heart and love for Kusa, that have something special to fight for. She knows these would be her most powerful allies. A smile hidden by her mask she lets her clay hands chew away on more clay refining it into a yet more special version than the regular explosive type. Her plasma torch sword lit and still buzzing about she looks to the man and points her sword at him. "Are you ready?"

"Wonderful," the man lightly muttered under his breath. "I guess I'm not needed here. Stay safe, kids. Or don't. It's your choice, really." He leaped from his position, dispelled all defenses, and barged out of the academy, ruthlessly smashing through the rock wall along the way. (exit)

The former Raikage smirked, "Test my abilities? I am no student that you can teach, but if you wish it..." Hiro began doing rapid handsigns, once he was done, he lifted his arm in the air as it started warping around. It would seem as though his arm was created from wood, being the Senju he was. Suddenly, giant beams of wood began to shoot out of his arm as they sped toward the woman at great speeds. "...then you shall have it..."

With a smile Shoko swings her sword upwards in preparation then slices downwards just at the right moment for her to cut the tree branch with her plasma sword. The swords heat enough to make the wood ash away and burn as it cuts. Shoko's slash sent her high up into the air and enough to place her feet upon the newly formed branch of the mans arm and run up it towards him her sword buzzing about while she charges him head on. In only a moment the genjutsu would start to take effect and the man going against Shoko would feel a bit dizzy and blurred of vision. The worst of moments for the man to go dizzy and be caught in a genjutsu, just as Shoko (still masked) charges him with her blue sword ready to cut at his shoulder and cause the man's wooden arm to be cut off. (that is if she can get the cut in time.) She aims to test the abilities of higher ranking ninja to help expand and really make the secret organization aimed to protect the grass an organization worth being part of. She has worked hard and put together many secret hiding places around the lands in order to achieve this. Now all she needs is loyal Kusa nin to step forward and join the organization to help protect and lighten the load on the kusakage.

When Hiro noticed just how easily Shoko was cutting through his wood, Hiro immediately guessed this sword wasn't just a sword for showing off, but he couldn't place his hand on it. Was just highly concentrated flames? No, that wouldn't excuse its appearance,but appearances could be decieving.

But then he began to feel dizzy as if he was about to faint, yet he knew this was the work of Genjutsu. Just before Shoko could get near enough to slice off his shoulder Hiro immediately jumped to the side just in time. When he jumped away, the branches growing out of his arm seemed to bend yet they kept on expanding. Shoko would have found herself cutting the branches instead severing Hiros connection to the remaining branches. Hiro took the chance to retract whatever wood that was left after Shoko's cut.

Hiro bit his thumb and slapped his hand on the ground and suddenly a huge cloud of smoke engulfed him. In a matter of seconds, Shoko would see Hiro standing next to a shark surrounded by a water held together by chakra. This shark would only be a small distraction while Hiro did whatever he needed to do when Shoko did her next move. "Come on...I'm just getting started." He said before removing the bandage from his right eye to reveal his prezed possession, it was the very thing that gave him his nickname back in Cloud: his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan implant. He gave Shoko a fanged grin,knowing that she'd be surprised at the evolved imlant like everyone else had been.
