Sebastian shrugged. He pulled a vial from his pocket and placed it on a stand by his computer. "I'd been making a serum to counteract mutant collars. I figured I could make some lame excuse for an ingredient to go get you. We'd take a stop in Genosha, grab you, and be out really quick." He shook his head and looked away. "It didn't go that way. Your brother chased us. Dean fought the entire Brotherhood off. We tried to help him but..." He trailed off. He shook his head. He smiled and turned back to Cassandra. "It's good to see you as well. I'll make up for the camping trip."Inventory:

Cassie looked at the vial and then turned her attention back to Sebastian. She listened as he explained and she smiled and said, "Aw... you wanted me back. And, yeah, my brother does tend to be the type to throw wrenches in people's plans."
She frowned some before brightening and said standing on her tiptoes and pecking Sebastian on the cheek, "I'll hold you to making up my camping trip by the way." She stepped back and realized with her impromptu kiss she was happier to be back than she'd like to admit.
Standing several feet with her hands behind her back she said, "Well, I guess we'll just have to set up a rescue mission for Myth then."

Sebastian was almost stunned by the kiss on the cheek. But the reaction was only temporary, as he almost instantly reverted back. He smiled and nodded. He thought about Dean. "I don't know about that." he looked at Emma and Scott. "I would like to go get Dean, but he won't be too happy to see me. And after our most recent escapade, I think the mission ideas should stick with those two." Sebastian really wanted to just say yes and go get Dean. But he couldn't take the chance. The last rescue attempt ended up as more of a trade. Sebastian didn't want to trade anybody. Well, there was always Dmitri, but he still wanted the kid around. If anything to learn more about his ability.Inventory:

Shadow Walker does she thought as he pointed out the pain he feels as Cassie runs to someone else.
Felicia decided to try a different angle. "You knew about this from the start. You knew what you're getting yourself into. Why bother leaving Genosha to seek Cassie if you knew that you're not her type?"
Her goal wasn't to discourage him but to remind why he's trying in the first place.

Cassie glanced over to Emma and Scott and then back to Sebastian. She wrinkled her nose and said, "You're no fun."
She sighed and shook her head and said more seriously, "Nah... you are probably right. We'll stick to whatever Miss Frost and Mr. Summers decides."

"Well actually I didn't know Cassie already had a crush here," Dmitri replied somewhat annoyed.
He took a deep breath and said, "There were a lot of reasons I left Genosha. I didn't like my cage anymore, and anywhere free is better than being locked up. Of course I'm sort of under supervision here... I did want to support her, but I think more importantly I wanted to understand what drew her to the X-men in the first place."

Sebastian shrugged. "Anyway," he started, punching letters on his keyboard. "We're done here." A robotic arm swiveled around to pick up the serum and began to analyzer it. It would begin to synthesize the serum into several doses. He looked back at Cassandra. "I don't know about you, but I'm starving. Up for getting some food?"Inventory:

Felicia frowned a little when she found that she was wrong partially. But there was something he mentioned that got her thinking. "Perhaps, Cassie wasn't the only reason you're here now. What if deep down the question was 'what's so great about the X-Men?' You don't necessarily need Cassie in the question to find out what you're looking for. It seems like her influence adds herself to it.
I dunno, I'm no pychologist or doctor but that's my two cents." her stomach grumbled. "Ah heh" cat_sweatdrop she realized she hadn't eaten since lunch this afternoon. "I didn't realize how late it was. I do feel better now thanks to you. I was hoping I could do the same for you but, it's not going to be easy is it?"

"A really good friend of mine was used along with her twin sister as lab rats as the MRD... its kind of hard to want to find peace with people capable of doing that sort of thing," Dmitri answered, "but maybe you're right."
He smiled and said, "Well, I'm glad you are feeling better. Don't worry about me, I can take care of myself. We probably should head down to the kitchens and find food though."

Felicia smiled a little as he agreed to head down to the kitchen. As the head down toward the kitchen, "Who knows maybe Cassie will cook for us... you probably already know that she's a real great cook. I had and an omelete she made yesterday morning, it was devine." ^_^
She wanted to set themselves up to be in a good mood of sorts. Though she hoped she wasn't rubbing salt in his wounds, considering that she would most likely not cook for Dmitri. "If worse comes to worse I'll be glad to share what I've got. I wouldn't mind just grabbing something from the fridge if that ends up being the case."

Sebastian smiled. "You know I'll eat pretty much everything." he laughed. That was his grandfather's thing. His grandfather always told him to never waste food. Something about spending a month at sea with no food made all food sacred to the guy. He passed on the love a food to Sebastian as he was growing up. Sebastian laughed a bit as they headed out of the room towards the kitchen. "Sounds great, Cassandra, thank you. Let's see what we got."Inventory:

"I can cook some basic things," Dmitri said with a shrug. "And knowing Cassie she'd probably put laxatives in my food or something."
He let out a sigh, "I'll just make a sandwich or something. Besides, I got to eat meals cooked by her instructor. I doubt the student ever surpassed the teacher in this case."
