Damned Woods

Oww, Aquaria thought. She was still too weak to open her eyes. Sanvi, what did you do?  

[Cecily D Aria]

"Aquaria..." Garin said, weakly. He pulled her body closer to him and tried to stand up with her.  

[marixe alcyone]

"Ga...rin," Aquaria managed to choke out. She could feel bruises rising all over her body, especially on her throat, where Cassandra had tried to strangle her. "What...happened...?"  

[Cecily D Aria]

"What the hell were you thinking?" Garin asked, his voice cracking from the pain. He stumbled from the room with her.

"It was...Sanvi," Aquaria said weakly. "It was...her fun. Are you all...right?"  

[Cecily D Aria]

"No," Garin replied, through gritted teeth. This was exactly why he didn't want her to do anything in the first place! If he hadn't gotten in Cassandra's way, Aquaria would be dead right now...

"What happened to you?" Aquaria demanded. She knew Garin had been hurt, but she didn't know how.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"Not only is Cassandra the heir to the leadership, but she has three younger brothers who covet it," Garin replied as he pushed a door open with his shoulder. He put her on the bed and then fell to his knees next to the bed. he panted for breath.

Aquaria was infuriated by Garin's response. There was something wrong with him, and he wasn't telling her what! "Garin! Please! Tell me what happened to you!" she screamed hoarsely from the bed.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"To keep her position, she has to be strong," Garin continued when he had caught his breath. His vision was fading in and out. He leaned back against the bed. "I took the punch that was meant to shatter your spine. All becuase that damn demon was idiot enough to slap her. Still want her around?"

"Garin," Aquaria whispered, crying a little. "Sanvi, how could you!" she screamed. "I don't want her sealed anymore, I want her gone!"
For her part, Sanvi was completely contented with herself.

"Good... You get it... good," Garin managed to say before he passed out. He let out a sigh as he did.

Aquaria sat up quickly and jumped down from the bed as Garin went unconscious. Her head spun and she braced herself against the side of the bed. When she felt fine again, she lifted Garin up an dropped him on the bed. Then Aquaria ran out of the room. "Cassandra! Why did Garin pass out!" she screamed.

Cassandra was in the library not too far from where Aquaria was. However, she didn't move to respond.

Well, I guess that wasn't too smart of me, Aquaria thought. I did try to attack her. "Cassandra. Why is Garin unconsious?" Aquaria said, stopping outside the office door.
