Rahvine slept, dreaming one of her rare dreams.
Zero? asked the dream Rahvine looking over at the silver haired young man that was her partner and mentor. He was paler than usual, and Rahvine knew that he had been suffering more under the burden of bloodlust over the past couple of months.
Zero shook his head, his lavendar eyes hard. 'later' the look said. 'Not now.'
Rahvine nodded and pulled her gun from it's holster mirroring Zero's own actions with the Bloody Rose. At a gesture from Zero the pair moved up the rotting starcase toward the sense of vampire from the floor above.
Rahvine stirred slightly in her sleep a quiet moan leaking from her throat.

Aura's ear twitched and she opened her eyes. She quietly woke up and walked to Rahvines side.Tilting her head sligthly she sat down.

Rahvine stood to one side of the door as Zero kicked it down and they rushed into the room as one, weapons held ready.
The room beyond the door was splattered with blood and at the far end of the room a vampire huddled over a limp form his back to the pair. "Vampire." called Zero aiming the Bloody Rose at the vampires back. "By order of the Association, for repeated acts of murder you have been sentanced to death."
The vampire turned looking at the pair with glowing red eyes it's face carrying the distortion common to level E vampires, with an eerie high pitched laugh it rushed toward them fangs bared.
Rahvine and Zero fired as one turning the level E to ash.
Zero glanced at Rahvine then moved to the limp body the vampire had been feeding on kneeling beside it to check for a pulse.
After a moment Zero drew his hand away staring at the blood on it as if transfixed.
Rahvine moaned again her hand twitching slightly in her sleep.

Aura's fur stood at and end.As odd as it sounded,she coupd sense Rahvine was having a nogthmare.That plus the moans and twitches werent good signs.

Suddenly the sense of another vampire caught Rahvine's attention. Her gaze snapped to the broken window as another level E swung into the room. "Zero! Look out!" shouted Rahvine as she fired at the level E, it too turned to ash some of which drifted down over Zero who hadn't moved.
Rahvine half lowered her gun looking at Zero with concern. "Zero? Are you okay?" she asked stepping toward him.
Zero half turned to look at her his eyes glowing red with mindless blood lust. "Zero?" Rahvine raised her gun as Zero suddenly came to his feet rushing at her. She managed to get off a single shot grazing Zero's shoulder before he slapped the gun out of her hand bringing a hot rush of pain, lancing red across her vision, before latching onto her throat with his fangs.
Rahvine pushed at Zero, crying out as she struggled to break free.
Rahvine rolled onto her other side a fine sweat breaking out on her forehead.

Aura looked whimpering sligthly not sure of what to do.

Finally Rahvine managed to break free long enough to make a dash toward her gun, before being blocked by Zero who backed her into a corner of the room locking onto her throat once again.
"Zero, stop!!" cried Rahvine as her vision began to tunnel and go gray. 'I-...he's-...' Rahvine's hand moved toward the miniature revolver kept in the shoulder holster under her arm. Rahvine's vision went fuzzy as she pressed the barrel of the revolver to Zero's chest. "Zero,...forgive me." said Rahvine as her finger tightened on the trigger, followed by a thunderous boom.
"ZERO!" Rahvine shouted as she awoke with a start sliding off the bed and to the floor with a thump.
((Nah, she's about to wake up. Thanks for putting up with my dream sequence/storytelling though. ^^))

Aura started muzzling Rahvine whimpering.Its okay its okay she kept repeating.
[Np,it was prety cool though,cant deny that!^__^ And i was freaking having fun with my twin set in the tavern as well]

Rahvine shuddered, her hand covering her face for a long moment before she turned to bury her face in Aura's fur trembling.
((Thanks. ^^ I'd been wanting to try doing a real look at part of Rahvine's story for a while.))

After several minutes Rahvine pulled back wiping her eyes with the edge of her shirt as she cleared her throat. "Sorry." she said hoarsely not looking up.

Rahvine shrugged wrapping her arms around herself. "I guess I just worked myself a little too hard today." That or having the Bloody Rose feed on me brought something up. thought Rahvine. After all that is how I inherited it.

"No you just take it all yourself," Aura said,"me havjng the collar on,Kyra runnjng off,you being hunted by wolves,sometimes its is best to just admit you cant take the world..."Aura looked out the window the full moon still up,"and i dont just mean the physical challanges but the emotional ones as well,Dalmira."

Rahvine ran a hand through her hair. "Maybe..." Rahvine shook her head and leaned back against the bed pulling the Bloody Rose from her bag and putting it on her lap. She looked over at Aura. "I never did explain what happened with the Bloody Rose earlier.
