Need advice for friend. (I'm being serious)

Okay, my friend just told me that last night her brother committed suicide while they were talking on the phone, and she turned to me for support. I don't know what to say without sounding like a d**k, so I need some help. How do I make her feel comfortable?

there isn't just ask them if they need anything, tel thme not to beat themselve up too muc hcause it's not gonna fix anything, and it'l make it worse for everyone else

There isnt really anything you can say other than you are sorry.
Just offer a shoulder to cry on and tell her that you are there for her to talk to.
I wouldnt suggest getting any more involved or opinionated than that.

Ionic: Really all you can do is offer an ear to bend, a shoulder to cry on, and a torso to hold. Not a lot, I know...but you'd be surprised at how much the smaller things really matter.
