(random discussion) Mispronounciation of Japanese words

This is just something I decided to make because I wanted to see how many people have heard people pronounce things wrong/ spell things wrong etc. I am not saying I am perfect but has anyone else heard of people pronounce things wrong? i.e manga coming out as ma-nka? And how do people feel about this?.. I am not trying to start an arguement or anything just curious.

well, first of all. manga is suppose to be pronouce as mahn-ga (the way i wrote it might be wrong) but sometimes people will go like mane-ga (like me), i dont know, but i think it just sounds better, or more like cuter (ah haha. dont know where i got that ^^; )

and yes, there are people who pronounce japanese words wrong. i probably do, but that is because i just read the titles really fast and something just comes up in my head. same goes for english. xd

it happens. its cause they pronouce there vowels slightly different like "i" being pronounced "e" or "e" as "eh" ..........
kareoke (sorry if i spelled it wrong) is the most butchered word of all.

It is kinda' of annoying. I take Japanese at school..soo

Yea, I say mahn-ga, but all my friends say mane-ga, but it doesn't really bother me bacuse it's not like they claim that they can speak Japanese even slightly ok, so it's not a problem to me. I'm sure I pronounce lots of things wrong.
